ALEX RODRIGUEZ – NYY – 3B

This is the last days we will see Alex Rodriguez.  The players that was once the #1 Selection in Fantasy Baseball year after year still brings value to the table.  If he so happens to be sitting on the wire, grab him.  This is it, Michael Jackson style.

JEDD GYROKO – SD – 2B/3B

Gyroko is reaching the power potential he once had before he hit the DL.  Sure playing in Colorado helped, as it helped him last time he went on his power spree.  You cannot avoid his Hot Bat at a position where you are lucky to get more than 2 HRs from a player during the week.  Jedd is Hot, ride the wave.

MATT DOMINGUEZ – HOU – 3B

Dominguez has been a hot hitter since the All-Star Break hitting .267 with 5 HRs.  He is at 16 HRs for the season and should easily approach 25 bombs.  In 2013, Dominguez will definitely be a sleeper pick that goes too late for his draft value.

SPEED

EMILIO BONIFACIO – 2B/OF – KC

I mentioned adding Bonifacio last week when he was the Blue Jays.  Now he gets full-time PT with KC.  He is an automatic add as he could easily lead the league in SBs from today until the rest of the season.

BRIAN ROBERTS – 2B – BAL

Roberts is finally getting back to full health, and while his speed is not there yet.  His ability to get hits and score runs will be nearly automatic to close out the season.  Baltimore is making a serious Playoff run, Brian Roberts will be a runs machine.

COMBO

WILL VENABLE – SD – OF

The Padres lost Everth Cabrera to bio-genesis.  They simply replaced him with Venable at the leadoff spot who has not skipped a beat.  He is the player to add in all leagues as he gives you batting average/speed/runs and POWER.  He is going to reach 20 HRs by the end of the month.
