Fantasy Baseball: Pitch It To The Limit

Fantasy Baseball: Pitch It To The Limit

By Muntradamus

As most of you know the next two days I will be competing to qualify from the field of 40 to the field of 12 in the DSBC.  Instead of Daily Pitcher Rankings, I will feature articles such as this one where I give you some strategy when preparing for the playoffs.

2012 INN LEFT TO PITCH: 36 2/3.

About 5 more starts are estimated for the pitcher who could be taken in the 1st round of all drafts next season.  Stephen had an amazing season, and the Nationals are working his starts around to have him pitch at the end of the season, he is due to miss 2-3 starts from here.  Regardless he will be on a completely different rhythm, and he may only last 5 INN in his next starts.  His fantasy factor for the playoffs has gone down a considerable amount.

* Don’t say I did not warn you about this all the way back in April.

2012 INN LEFT TO PITCH: Estimating 35.

Fiers has been a Fantasy Baseball CY young candidate over the month of July and August.  The Brewers have nothing to play for, and Fiers is already over his career high in INN.  Manager Roenicke has already put the doom phrase on Fiers saying, “We will monitor him closely.”  Which only means his bright season could be coming to an end at any given moment.

*If more pitchers that are valuable to your roster come up, I will be sure to update you on this article.
