The start of MLB Post season, you can smell it in the air. The days of the week are more entertaining as we have baseball to fill the hours until all the great night time events of our primetime world. 2020 is now in the stretch run rounding 3rd base on its way home. There will definitely be a play at the plate.
LAD @ MIL
Dodgers are facing a Brewers offense that is really no threat. Yelich is a BEAST and he will be on display, but he has very tough matchups. On the other hand the Brewers pitching staff while it is talented, they will not be able to contain all of those Dodgers bats. Dodgers advance.
SD @ STL
Padres having injuries to both Clevinger and Lamet is not good timing at all. Paddack is not pitching well. The Cardinals pitching is a bit suspect as well. While Flaherty and Wainwright are talented, Padres bats are capable of hitting in both matchups. If the Padres can have their pitchers healthy, they can take this series. Cardinals must win the game against Paddack with Kim on the mound. If they do, Cardinals advance.
CHC @ MIA
While good for Miami making it this far, the journey ends here. The Cubs are a team built to win a world series, the Marlins were built to be a team in rebuild. The rebuild journey is going quickly, but the Cubs will send them packing early. Back of Marlins order is still on rebuild while the front is pieced together by tape that is falling apart. Cubs advance.
ATL @ CIN
Reds are built to win this series. The Braves pitching staff is falling apart, the Reds have three great pitchers that can easily take this series. Look for the Reds to be the darling of the playoffs. Moustakas, Castle, and Suarez are MACHINES when they get hot. That happens. It is game over. Reds advance.

DODGERS @ CARDINALS
Dodgers pitching staff should completely dominate the Cardinals bats. The pitching for the Cardinals does not have what it takes to contain the Dodgers bats. This is an obvious Dodgers advance. Even if it was Padres, the arms of the Padres guys are not 100% and anything less is not good against these Dodgers bats. Dodgers advance.
CUBS @ REDS
Reds pitching can definitely compete with the Cubs and limit their bats. The Reds bats can definitely hit the Cubs pitching. Expect this series to go to the very wire, I would give the slight edge to the Reds because I like their pitching more. Reds Advance.
