MIRANDA RIGHTS (JOSE MIRANDA)

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

Jose Miranda is supposed to be a star. He was a 2nd Round Pick for the Twins in 2016 (17 Years Old), and now he is 24 Years Old and ready for his first full season as an MLB starter. Last season Miranda split time more or less with Gio Urshela. Gio is gone, and now it is the Miranda show in Minnesota, as he is ready to be the rock in the middle of a stacked Twins lineup that could win the AL Central.

Miranda was solid in the first big chunk of his MLB career last year. He hit .268 in 125 games while smacking 15 HRs. The 15 HRs was nothing special, but it is fine for a Rookie. Jose has good size at 6’2/210, and he will have plenty of RBI opportunities batting in the middle of the Twins lineup. Power is not something that will come easy for any Twins hitter as they play in a pitchers ball park, but the RBI total should be more than solid as it is not impossible to see him approach 100 RBIs.

The Twins are going to be winning games, Miranda is going to be playing everyday, Miranda is a strong hitter who is one of the Twins most prized possessions, and now it is time for him to deliver. The best part about Miranda, he is someone you can draft late. With an ADP of 160, that allows your team to be fine at 3B if you miss on the Jose Ramirez/Devers/Bregmans and gives you a guy that can compare in RBIs and still give you easy 25+ HR potential.
