FANTASY BASEBALL HEDGE FUND VOL 1.8

(COLE HEARTED)

BEAST DOME NATION.

Spencer Strider is a bitch for pitching horrible against the White Sox. He has unearned himself the title of being the best pitcher in baseball after that start, at least for the time being. You can blame Eddie Rosario for moving like a snail on routine pop outs that turn into hits, or you can blame the manager for not intentionally walking Luis Robert with runners on 2nd and 3rd with 2 Outs. Ego is a horrible thing.

Last day of the Hedge let’s finish strong, and let us rely on an Ace.

BLUE JAYS HIT TOMMY HENRY

The Blue Jays offense is on fire coming out of the break, and Henry is a lefty that will make mistakes. Nearly 1-9 is hitting the ball great, and some people are just hitting it better than most players in the majors like Merrifield/Springer/Bo and even HR Derby champ Vladdy Daddy. Henry is in trouble, Jays get the offense.

EFLIN IS GOOD ENOUGH TO SHUTDOWN THE ROYALS

Rays offense is starting to get momentum as yesterday was their first day. Lots of runs, lots of Innings, Singer is not a great pitcher and the Rays should continue momentum. Key question is Eflin good enough to slow down the Royals, and the easy answer is yes as most pitchers are good enough and Eflin is pitching the best he has in his career.

GERIT COLE DOMINATES COLORADO

Cole almost gave up 2 HRs in the All-Star game, now he faces a Rockies offense that is good, but if they were in Colorado it would be bad. They are in Colorado, but Gerit Cole should dominate as the Yankees have real momentum. Chase Anderson has no chance of slowing down the Yankees either.

TWINS FINISH SWEEP ON A’S

Twins made the first two games close, but now they got their best pitcher in Joe Ryan on the mound. Ryan has filthy stuff the A’s Bats have never seen before. Look for the well rested young gun to look great coming out of the gate for the Twins. J.P. Sears can pitch well, but the Twins bats are hot and expect them to carry that momentum.
