BEAST DOME NATION.

There is a Q on Sunday.  You should check out how freakin accurate I am with my picks the days before.  It is insanity.

ERIK KRATZ: Hit a HR in his first game replacing Carlos Ruiz for 4-6 weeks.  Look for him in the Waiver wire article later Sunday.

ADAM LAROCHE: Ended his 14 game hitting streak Friday, only to start a new hitting streak on Saturday with 2 HRs.  He is the hottest hitter in baseball.

ALBERT PUJOLS: Is starting to pick up the pace to reach 35 HRs possibly.

A.J. PIERZYNSKI: Has to be surprise player of Fantasy Baseball this season hitting #20.

SF GIANTS: Started a petition to play all of their home games in Colorado moving forward…Not really.

EMILIO BONIFACIO: Will be out 2-3 Weeks.  He is a SB king when healthy, hold onto him for the playoffs.  If you can make it.

KURT SUZUKI: Finds new life as possibly the starting catcher for the Nationals the rest of the season.

JOE BLANTON: On the Dodgers, a new place where he becomes hittable.

A.J. GRIFFIN: Hurt his shoulder, wait and see how long he is out for. MRI is clean, which could put him on pace for his next start.

Look out for the waiver wire article on Sunday.

Ask me any fantasy questions about players.

BET OF THE DAY (August 5th:)

Week 12: 6-1

Week 13: 5-2

Week 14: 3-4

Week 15: 1-2

Week 16: 4-3

Week 17: 5-2

Week 18: 4-2
WASHINGTON MONEY LINE

Stephen Strasburg takes the mound in what should be an easy matchup.  The Marlins are an easy team to over power, I see that being the case.  Against the red hot hitting Nationals is Ricky Nolasco, and he knows a thing or two about giving up huge games.  Look for the Nationals offense to stay hot.

  1. I really like the player news and analysis at the beginning of the daily pitching articles. It really helps me keep up with what’s happening in the league, espcially if I don’t need to stream a pitcher for that day.

On to injuries! So many injuries! Cuddyer, Sandoval and Ian Desmond on DL15. By the time you read this, I may drop Ian Desmond since I like Rutledge a lot lately. How could you not like 5 HR in 6 days, and hitting in Colorado?! Just looking for some tips on moves to make. I destroyed my opponent this week. He is the most active player in all 3 of my ESPN leagues. We are both out of waiver moves for the week. Well I have one move to make, and I think I will drop Desmond for a hitter. Looking forward to your advice Muntz. Thanks a ton, as always.

  2. I really don’t know who to get. It can be any position. Rosters lock at 11AM Pacific, I hope to hear from you by then. It could be Pagan, Morneau, Carlos Lee, or Carlos Gomez, Jason Werth, or Daniel Murphy. I’m leaning towards Morneau, I need RBI and HR today!

  3. I messed up my timing… stupid East Coast time zones on ESPN. I’ll wait for your awesome insights before making any moves now. Thanks Muntz and sorry for the triple post =(

  4. I hope it worked out for you GW.

Always good to take hitters in Colorado is a good rule of thumb. They seem to find new life.
