If you have been following my Jalen Green series, you will notice that I consistently say, “Only if there was no Fred Vanvleet who is not very good, then Jalen would really shine.” Well my friends, that day has finally come with no Fred, and Jalen has a juicy matchup against the high scoring Pacers. Scoring and Pace of play will need to be at an all-time max for the Rockets to keep up, and the ball will be in Jalen Green’s hands nearly the entire game.
Sengun will definitely get his ride and he scored 30 against the Pacers earlier this year, but the value is in Jalen Green whose predicted numbers did not get a boost in the Vegas Sports Books with Fred out.
No longer are we going after rebounds with Jalen, Amen Thompson is a rebound hog and Jalen is cool letting him do that and get out his way. Jalen will run the offense, Amen will be an aggressive bucket (I would take his over in Points easily) Amen can score 14+ if your book lists him.
Rockets will score points now that VanVleet is gone, and the Rockets will be a profitable team in the prop department.
