The other day as I was watching the Reds vs. Oakland on a Friday Night, I had to wonder to myself, is this the life I dreamed of? Rooting for Brent Rooker to hit a HR in the late innings to almost net me a grand prize on DraftKings? Well he hit the HR, and I came in 16th place in a large tournament. Not large enough to brag about, but I will take it.

Death. Taxes. Sonny Gray pitching a gem are the three things guaranteed in life. Sonny Gray has his K pitch going to a whole other level these days. That is not true he has always beeen a strikeout machine. Sonny has a great matchup against a Royals offense that really is not scary. Sure Salvy/Pasq are hitting the ball well right now, but Sonny has swing and miss type of movement, while those two Royal hitters can only hit things that are set on a Tee. Tee as in Teeball for all those non Baseball people out there.

Pitching for the Royals is the Wedding Singer, Brady Singer. Twins offense is on fire right now. Kepler/Gallo/Correa/Miranda/Larn/Buxton are all on fire, even Jorge has his swing going. The Twins offense is as explosive as ever, they are at home, and they have seen Singer 100x already.

Royals are in trouble. Between Sonny Gray going through the Royals order up and down. Singer will be pitching from the stretch all game. Stretch as in runners are going to be on base for all those non Baseball people out there.
