FANTASY FOOTBALL WAIVER WIRE DONTAYVION WICKS
(WEEK 6)
BEAST OR BUST

BEAST DOME NATION.
Week 3 everyone was excited for battle Tank Bigsby, only to be a nothing waste of move.
This Week it is Dontayvion Wicks who is still on the Waiver Wire in most leagues despite his strong, but inconsistent play. Wicks is a BEAST as far as talent goes, there is no doubt about that. The problem with Wicks is no other than, you guessed it, Jalen Hurts. Hurts has been a HARD BUST player for me the last two years. I featured him as one of my 30 players to avoid in 2026. Hurts has been very awful throwing the football this season, anything more than a checkdown is more likely than not an incomplete pass. Even in London, Hurts had Wicks wide open for a long TD pass, only to over throw him.
Wicks has shown a lot of talent buried on the Packers depth chart, and has even shown monster talent with the Eagles early on this season. However his time to shine as a reliable fantasy option is closing down very fast. Dallas Goedert is back, who is easily Hurts favorite weapon. Devonta Smith is returning any game at this point, another target Hurts will look for. Just when you thought it was safe for Wicks as the WR3, Lemon is starting to catch on, and Cooper has easily been the Eagles most exciting WR. Add all of this, plus Hollywood Brown is coming back as well, Wicks will be on the Waiver Wire instantly, instead of being this weeks #1 WR to grab according to the Sheep.
