My dad does Fantasy Golf every week; one entry, one team, for decades. He picks the winners of these tournaments more often than most. Last week FanDuel gave me a Free $15 Entry and he made my team and selected Ryan Fox who won it all. I asked him why he picked Ryan Fox.
Muntradamus Sr. said, “It is a big course and it is important to have a big drive, and Fox was among the leaders in driving. Owned in just 3.6% of the tournament, he was correct. Also impressive to have 5/6 golfers advance. So now he is writing a weekly Golf feature for BEAST DOME.

There are only 3 tournaments left to qualify for the FedEx Cup championship. With that in mind, I looked at what players are on the cusp for qualifying and that also have a hot hand right now. With Scheffler commanding a price of $15,800, making a team with him on FanDuel will almost guarentee at least one player not making the cut. So, I am going with six players that I feel have a good chance of landing in the top 10.
Jackson Suber ($10,500)
He is ranked 79th and only the top 70 qualify. In Jackson’s last seven starts, Suber has three top six finishes bringing him back into contention. Suber is hot, play the fire.
Taylor Moore ($8,800)
Taylor Moore is ranked 88th and needs a good showing. Since his debut at TPC Twin Cities in 2024, all he’s done is finish a respective T12 and T14 with a scoring average of 67.63, proving how well the course favors his aggressive play despite similarly inconsistent runs of form in advance of both starts. His short game and putting are his keys, and he leads the PGA TOUR in first-round scoring average.
William Mouw ($9,300)
Ranked 102. The 3M Open calls for a great ball striker who needs to shine with the putter for one week. William Mouw has the tee-to-green resume to contend at TPC Twin Cities, but will the putter show up? He finished seventh in 2025 in his first start at the 3M, and he gained over seven strokes on the field with his flatstick.
Doug Ghim ($10,400)
Ranked 95th. The top 3 most demanding categories at TPC Twin Cities are play around-the-green, approach, and driving accuracy. As for Ghim, these are his three strongest three metrics. The former US Amateur Runner-Up is also in great form, showcasing 4 top-20 finishes in his last 7 events and 6 top-31s.
Johnny Keefer ($9,500)
Ranked 71. Keefer will be a popular click this week but for great reasons at these odds. He’s seventh in SG/approach over the past 30 rounds, 14th in SG/off the tee, seventh in Birdie or Better percentage and top 20 in wedge proximity from 100-150 yards. That’s a winning formula if he can putt like he did in Europe.
Hideki Matsuyama ($11,300)
Ranked 37th. Back to back top 20 finishes show his game is trending in the right direction, and it feels like he’s getting close to being back to his vintage self.
