Jalen Hurts Fantasy Football Outlook 2026: Bust

Jalen Hurts Fantasy Football Outlook 2026: Bust Truth Hurts

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

Welcome back to the 20 players we are fading this Fantasy Football season, now we are at #2 in Jalen Hurts. Funny to put him #2 because in all reality, he would be nowhere the QB he was if it was not for grown men pushing his ass. Sure Jalen Hurts won a Super Bowl and I am taking nothing away from that, but how Jalen Hurts has performed since winning the Super Bowl is a completely different story. Still being drafted as a Top 5 QB in Fantasy Football, the Truth Hurts and Jalen is no longer a top tier Fantasy QB.

When you accomplish something, it is easy to take the foot off the gas pedal for a second because you think it comes naturally. For example, you can win a big bet, next thing you know you just gave a big portion back because you were not as sharp as you were when you were grinding up. The same happened to Jalen Hurts.

Jalen Hurts won a Super Bowl in 2024, and in 2025 he acted like he could do it again with his eyes closed. There was never any passion in Jalen Hurts game, he was a ‘lethargic too cool for school QB.’ He missed easy throws, he had bad reads, he could not get his star WR the ball enough to keep him happy. The Eagles offense was a disaster last season, and while a new offensive coordinator could help, I am leaning towards an ego/talent problem for Jalen.

Let us start with the fact we cannot ignore, the Eagles lost their #1 WR in AJ Brown. While they think they did something in the draft with Makai Lemon, who will be on this BUST list before the Summer is over. The truth is that void is too big to fill. What I do like is Hollywood Brown and Dontavyion Wicks coming into town, which means the talent is there especially when you add in Devonta Smith and Dallas Goedert. A new offensive coordinator plus more weapons should help Jalen Hurts correct? Well not enough.

The biggest problem with Jalen Hurts is, he is no longer a running QB.

Only three games he rushed for over 40 yards, only 1 game he threw for over 300 yards. Also note that game was indoors, when you really need him to be productive in the fantasy playoffs, throwing for over 200 yards seemed like a stretch. Take away his TD passing mirage against the last place Raiders/Commanders to close out the season, and his 8 times being pushed in the ass to score a rushing TD, he was very garbage, QB2 at very best.

Maybe Jalen Hurts will snap out of his, ‘I am too good for you attitude.’ I do not think he will, Hurts has the look in his eye where he already thinks he is the best, even when he is not doing well, which tells me his ego has taken over. Do not Draft Jalen Hurts on your Fantasy Football team, unless you want a QB who has to depend on goal line rushing TDs to save his season, and while he is keeping that dream alive, I rather have a QB I can trust throwing the Football especially if I am not going to get the rushing yards as a saftey net.
