Stefon Diggs Fantasy Football 2026 Outlook: BEAST or BUST

Stefon Diggs Fantasy Football 2026 Outlook: BEAST or BUST

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

The very first player I wrote about last season was Stefon Diggs, I called him a BEAST. I thought that was the last article I would write on Stefon Diggs before the season started, his preseason drama with Cardi B turned into four more articles! Breakup, her ass stink, back together. It was a mess, I still ranked him higher than many Fantasy Football sites and he was part of the Draft Guide.

Stefon Diggs had a great year for the Patriots, 85 Receptions/1,013 Yards/4 TD, and most important he took a last place team to the Super Bowl. While many will say it was Drake Maye, and sure it was, it was also the impact Stefon Diggs had on the field being a true alpha #1 WR. Diggs was so good, that Drake had open weapons because of it. Unfortunately it was a brutal Super Bowl for the Patriots offense, they almost reverted to how they looked before Stefon got there. While it was all good and dandy for Stefon on the field, once again, Stefon Diggs had an awful year for being on Santa’s good list off the field. Stefon allegedly beat his chef (found innocent), Stefon ended up having multiple children from multiple women during the season, including Cardi B who is no longer together.

With Stefon Diggs now innocent, it is time for Stefon’s next adventure in the NFL. Seems like a lifetime ago he had the greatest TD in Vikings history, to then becoming the go-to WR for Josh Allen when he was developing into a star, to an unfortunate ACL tear in Houston, to leading the Patriots to the Super Bowl. The question is, what team wants to put up with him?

Sure he would be great in Kansas City, but he may not be mature enough to be in that locker room. He may not be mature enough to be in any locker room besides a losing team. The reason why the Patriots move made so much sense with Diggs, is because the Patriots needed Diggs more than Diggs needed the Patriots. The Patriots basically said we have moved on trading for AJ Brown.

The best landing spot for Diggs would be with the Baltimore Ravens. Diggs could instantly slide in as the #2 WR behind Zay Flowers, Lamar Jackson would look like a video game character again. The most likely landing spot for Stefon Diggs would be Miami. Malik Willis is throwing to #3 WRs, they have no true alpha and Stefon Diggs would instantly become a star on that team. Not to mention, Stefon Diggs would have a good time in Miami, plenty of wild events for him to attend. At the end of the day, Stefon Diggs could have been one of the most special WRs in the last decade, but in reality, he cannot keep his head focused on Football.

Robin Williams made a great joke that perfectly sums up Stefon Diggs.

Unfortunately for Stefon Diggs, he does not realize that.

BEAST OR BUST?

TBD

Cannot say until he signs with a team, but in reality it would not surprise me if no teams end up taking Diggs just because nobody wants him in the locker room. The Dolphins however are in the same situation as the Patriots, they need Diggs, more than Diggs needs them.
