BEAST DOME NATION.

The year was 2024, and every Fantasy Football Sheep could not wait to waste their 1st/2nd Round Pick on the Rookie WR Marvin Harrison Jr. Some Sheep-Experts ranked him as the #1 WR, but all ranked him inside the Top 10. Where did BEAST DOME rank Marvin Harrison Jr? Outside of the Top 40, the only website to do it.

End of the day, Marvin Harrison Jr. finished with 885 Yards/62 Receptions/8 TD. MHJ had 4 Points or less in Fantasy standard leagues 9/17 games! That type of production from your 1st/2nd Round Pick will end your season before it even begins.

Here is the 2024 BUST article on Marvin Harrison Jr. below. Enjoy.

FANTASY FOOTBALL BUST OF THE YEAR 2024

MARVIN HARRISON JR.

Once a generation we get a talented WR who takes the league by storm. Justin Jefferson/Calvin Johnson/Randy Moss/Marvin Harrison and now there is a chance we have someone new, Marvin Harrison Jr.

There is no doubt Marvin Harrison Jr. is going to have a great NFL career. However there is a huge doubt he will have a great Rookie season. In the context of that sentence, Marvin Harrison Jr. is being drafted early in the 2nd round of Fantasy Football Drafts. Ahead of legends like Davante Adams. Fantasy Football Sheep have Marvin Harrison Jr. finishing as a Top 10 Overall WR this Fantasy Football season.

That will not happen.

No preseason action for Kyler/Marvin at the same time is a bad first step for the Cardinals. Kyler Murray has no in-game chemistry with his Rookie WR who has never played a snap against real starters. The chances of Marvin Harrison Jr. going Anquan Boldin (The Choosen Quan 15th Year Anniversary article) is not likely. Marvin will likely take some time to gather the confidence of a true #1 WR, if we can even call him the #1 WR.

Tre McBride, aka ‘Father of the McBride’ is Todd Heap on steroids. McBride and Kyler developed great chemistry together that has to carry over to 2024. I am not saying to draft McBride at all, all I am saying is that McBride will keep a hefty role for himself in this offense.

Michael Wilson could be a #2 WR on a lot of Football teams, but he is not getting enough action in the Cardinals system. It would be a shame to waste away his best years, but that looks likely to be the case. With that being the likely case, Wilson will still get his plays here and there and they will take away from a dominating target share for Marvin Harrison Jr.

Next we got Zay Jones, who beats #3 CBs for breakfast. Zay is a one-on-one matchup nightmare, and it seems hard for Kyler to ignore the matchups when they are in his favor. You cannot forget James Conner who may be on his last good years, but he still has one left in the tank. The Cardinals offense is at its best when Conner is controlling games.

All in all, Marvin Harrison Jr. could still have a productive year, especially when the Cardinals are eliminated late in the season and Kyler is just trying to get more in-game reps with Marvin Harrison Jr. Rookie season will not be one for the record books, but potentially his future will be. For now, let the Sheep enjoy the raw potential instead of the real thing while paying a HEFTY price for it.

Marvin Harrison Jr. can get some good garbage numbers this year when the Cardinals are eliminated from Playoff contention. However his start to the season is more like a WR3 with upside in Fantasy Football than anywhere near a Top 10 WR.
