TETAIROA MCMILLAN BEAST OR BUST

BEAST DOME NATION.

Every year there is a Rookie who has a name that is just foreign to me. Either the way it is spelled, or just the name in general. Jaxson Smith Njigba is the latest to come to mind, but Tetairoa wtf name is that. I had to click a separate google tab open with his name spelled correctly to make sure I got it right, and I still don’t think I have it right. Good news is, I know this is the last time I am going to attempt to spell it after this article. After watching his highlights and doing some scouting of my own, we are going to call him Tetatron.

Watching his highlights, he has good size, has good speed, and has a big radius. The only problem with everything Tetatron has going in 2025 is, the Panthers really do not need a WR stud this season to emerge. Adam Thielen and Bryce Young really built some chemistry since Bryce entered the NFL, while Leggette also appears poised to take on a bigger role in year two after a semi impressive rookie campaign. Not to mention Jalen Cooker who looked solid last season, along with David Moore in spurts. Panthers also added slot vet Hunter Renfrow who may still have one solid season left in the tank.

Tetatron does look like he can be a bit of Mike Evans, he also looks like he can be a bit of Randy Moss. Maybe with a more established QB who can get the ball down the field, Tetatron would have more upside. However with this core of solid WRs the Panthers have, and a QB who is looking more to build momentum and chemistry with the guys he has from last season. It is not likely Bryce force feeds something he has not played with before, the Panthers do not need to force the development this season. Tetatron has good upside in his career, but in 2025 I am going to pass on the Rookie WR. Wait until Thielen retires, which could be after this season.

Rookie Prediction. 60+ Receptions. 600+ Yards. 3+ TDs.
