FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK RANKINGS: Eazy Breezy Beautiful Cover Girl (Week 4)

FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK RANKINGS:

Eazy Breezy Beautiful Cover Girl (Week 4)

By Muntradamus

1. PEYTON MANNING VS. PHI

Peyton is a legend.  I am sorry I didn’t have more VIPs draft him in the 3rd round, but in the end RB depth prevails.  Your QB should give you near 20 Points a game and that will be the difference come playoff time.

2. MICHAEL VICK @ DEN

Vick is a video game every game of the season.  Denver should allow plenty of garbage time for Vick to rack up those yards.

3. DREW BREES VS. MIA

Breezy is getting hot, and that is the only thing you can ask for from Drew who should continue his hot streak on Monday Night Football.

4. ANDREW LUCK @ JAX

Blowout mode is going to be the thing that can slow Luck down in Week 4.

5. TONY ROMO @ SD

The loss of Miles Austin does hurt a little, Romo still gets it done with the best of them and this matchup is tasty.

6. RGIII @ OAK

If there was a week where RG3 is going to turn the corner, this has to be his week.

7. MATT STAFFORD VS. CHI

The Bears secondary has shown some holes, but Megatron against Tillman could be a matchup that makes Stafford less of the QB than we expect.

8. JOE FLACCO @ BUF

Flacco has the matchup to get those numbers.  He really lacks being the same QB without Anquan Boldin, the emergence of Ray Rice return could hurt him as well.

9. COLIN KAEPERNICK @ STL

10. TERRELLE PRYOR VS. WAS

Pryor looks likely to play Sunday, this is a matchup that will get Oakland fans on their feet again.

11. BEN ROETHLISBERGER @ MIN

Big Ben is turning back the clock, he has a favorable matchup against the Vikings, but in London does make things a little weird.  The return of Le’Veon Bell could slow him down.

12. MATT RYAN VS. NE

Roddy White is still gimpy, you can depend on Ryan to lean on Julio who has a tough matchup against Talib.  Ryan really will not be the same until he has Roddy White.

13. TOM BRADY @ ATL

Without Gronk or Danny, Brady losses his two valuable targets and goes back to mediocrity.

14. JAY CUTLER @ DET

The Lions defense has been stronger against the pass this season than the past.  The Lions will still give up some plays, and you can expect Brandon Marshall to be ready for those.

15. ELI MANNING @ KC

The Chiefs secondary and D-Line will create problems for Eli.  Everything about this says bench, but you always know the rule on Eli..

16. RYAN TANNEHILL @ NO

The Saints secondary is improved and Tanney will have to be near perfect.  Good thing there will be time for garbage yards.

17. SAM BRADFORD VS. SF

18. RUSSELL WILSON @ HOU

Do not look for the Texans to give the ball to Wilson on Sunday and say, “Win us this football game with your arm.”  This will be all about ball control in possible but unlikely superbowl matchup.

19. JAKE LOCKER VS. NYJ

Locker finally had his breakout week, but the Jets will bring a different story to the table on Sunday.  Jets defense has been looking good all season and this is a matchup where they can continue the trend.

20. ALEX SMITH VS. NYG

NO QB takes less risks than Alex Smith.  Smith will just move the chains and try to setup Charles, you can leave Alex on your bench this weekend.

21. ANDY DALTON @ CLE

When Dalton doesn’t use AJ Green, he is worthless.  When AJ Green faces Joe Haden, he losses some value.  So in this case, they both go down together.

22. EJ MANUEL VS. BAL

Manuel will dink and dump against the Ravens.  Not a lot of opportunities for big plays and he does not seek those anyways.

23. PHILIP RIVERS VS. DAL

Rivers will have a tough time with this bad WR core.  No real targets to throw to outside of Gates could lead to a bad day.

24. BRIAN HOYER @ CIN

Hoyer looked good against the Vikings, and now gets a beatup Bengals secondary.  Nothing is guaranteed in this one for Brian.

25. GENO SMITH @ TEN

Geno is making things exciting with his legs, but he is also turning over the ball a lot.  Not what the Jets need.

26. MIKE GLENON VS. ARI

Glenon has a lot to prove quick as he really did not impress me this preseason.  With a less than 100% Vincent Jackson, Glenon will find it tough to have success in his Week 1.

27. MATT SCHAUB VS. SEA

The Seahawks secondary will eat Schaub alive.  Not a good start.

28. MATT CASSEL VS. PIT

This is a bad matchup to avoid.  The Steelers defense is tremendous against the pass, and Cassel is not a good QB to begin with.

29. CARSON PALMER @ TB

The Bucs do one thing well, they stop passing offenses.  Do not look for Palmer to get his numbers in this one.

30. BLAINE GABBERT VS. IND

Gabbert would be a backup on every team in the NFL.  Including his own, he should not be starting for Henne.

RB

1. TRENT RICHARDSON @ JAX

T-Pain will get his chance to show the team he is their man.

2. JAMAAL CHARLES VS. NYG

The Giants boast one of the worst defenses overall in the game.  Charles should be able to get his.

3. LESEAN MCCOY @ DEN

Shady will be a must for the Eagles offense to thrive.

4. ADRIAN PETERSON VS. PIT

You know AP will want to put up a show in London.  Once he reaches that second level, nobody can catch him.

5. DEMARCO MURRAY @ SD

Murray is a BEAST at RB.  He is hot and the Chargers defense is cold.

6. ALFRED MORRIS @ OAK

Al-Mo will be the guy the Redskins need to control the game on Sunday.  Look for him to get his touches.

7. MARSHAWN LYNCH @ HOU

BEAST MODE will be used frequently on Sunday.

8. DOUG MARTIN VS. ARI

No Freeman means a lot of touches for Douggie this week, how he handles them is up to him.

9. RAY RICE @ BUF

Little Ray comes back on the right game if he chooses to this week.  Pierce will steal touches regardless.

10. MATT FORTE @ DET

Forte continues to get it done and the Lions defense continues to give up good games to RBs despite having a great run D.

11. CHRIS JOHNSON VS. NYJ

CJ2K still needs that long TD, will it come this week?

12. DARREN MCFADDEN VS. WAS

Run DMC is a player that can tear up the redskins, if it was 2010.  DMC has lost a step, still a good matchup.

13. REGGIE BUSH VS. CHI

Reggie is back and could break a long run against the Bears.  He is a dangerous man on that turf.

14. MAURICE JONES-DREW VS. IND

Mojo can find himself down very early in this one.  With Gabbert at QB, not much he can do.

15. ARIAN FOSTER VS. SEA

The Seahawks are too fast for this version of Arian Foster.  His name alone is the reason you are starting him on Sunday.

16. FRANK GORE @ STL

17. DARREN SPROLES VS. MIA

No Ingram means more touches for Sproles.  He should get his 80 Total Yards easily, the TD will be key.

18. CJ SPILLER VS. BAL

Spiller is trending in the wrong direction, and the Ravens are trending in the right one.  Not a good matchup for CJ.

19. BILAL POWELL VS. TEN

Powell is finally coming to life after I promoted him all preseason in 2012.  Powell will get all the touches with no Ivory.

20. LE’VEON BELL @ MIN

The Vikings Run D gets the job done, but they do allow RBs to catch the ball.  Le’Veon will be busy in that department in London.

21. PIERRE THOMAS  VS. MIA

22. RYAN MATTHEWS VS. DAL

The Cowboys front 7 may be beat up, but they will be able to get to Mathews as the Chargers are forgetting about their run game.

23. BERNARD PIERCE @ BUF

The touches will be there even if he does not start, but maybe not more than a RB#3 level.

24. STEVAN RIDLEY @ ATL

Riddle me this will get his chances on Sunday.  The Patriots are heading towards a three headed monster and this is Ridley’s last chance to save himself.

25a. FRED JACKSON VS. BAL

F-Jax will have to lift a lot of the heavy loading for Baltimore.  Spiller is too much of an all or nothing player, the Bills don’t need that.

25b. JOIQUE BELL VS. CHI

Even as a backup Joique does have some low-end RB#3 potential. Against the Bears he is better off on your bench.

26. JASON SNELLING VS. NE

Another week of Snelling being the hard hitting RB the Falcons wish they had with a healthy Steven Jackson.  Look for Snelling to be used a lot as the Falcons offense is in shambles.

27. JACQUIZZ RODGERS VS. NE

Quizz is coming on strong after last week, the Patriots D is the type of D he can’t gash.

28. GIOVANI BERNARD VS. CLE

Bernard against Cleveland is the matchup you do not want.  He is not good at breaking tackles, Cleveland tackles well.

29. LAMAR MILLER @ NO

The Saints Run D is new and improved, all it takes is one long TD for Miller to make his day.  I don’t think he gets it.

30. KNOWSHON MORENO VS. PHI

The Broncos trust Knowshow and that is all you can ask of their RB right now if you have Peyton.  The TD may be hard to come by, but it could be there too.

31. RONNIE HILLMAN VS. PHI

The Hillmans have eyes.  Look for Ronnie to get his touches this week, still not more than 60 Total yards. TD saves his day.

32. MARCEL REECE VS. WAS

Reece will not be asked to do much, but he will be asked to do some.  The TD makes or breaks his day.

33. RASHARD MENDENAHLL @ TB

Mendy against that TB defense is not a great matchup.  Hope the 60 Yards finds a TD.

34. DANIEL THOMAS @ NO

DT will get his fair share of carries, good RB who is making life on Lamar Miller owners painful.

35. DAVID WILSON @ KC

Flash in a pan does not get the job done against a great Chiefs defense.  David Wilson is now next to worthless.

36. DANNY WOODHEAD VS. DAL

Woodhead is touching the ball 12+ times a game, get him in your lineup.

37. BRANDON BOLDEN @ ATL

The Falcons defense will play this one tough, Bolden does not play enough to get guaranteed starter numbers.

38. WILLIS MCGAHEE VS. CIN

McGahee should see his 14 Carries this week.  The Bengals front 7 does hit hard.

39. BRYCE BROWN @ DEN

Brown will get his share of carries, not enough touches to guarantee fantasy worth.

40. BEN TATE VS. SEA

Tate against Seattle is not sexy enough.  He needs to be the starting RB or playing against Jacksonville at this point.

41. DARYL RICHARDSON VS. SF

42. LEGARRETTE BLOUNT @ ATL

Blount showed some potential these past few games, hard to say if he gets anything more than garbage time.

43. MICHAEL BUSH @ DET

Officially named goal line back again, Bush is a TD or nothing potential player against Detroit.

44. BENJARVUS GREEN – ELLIS @ CLE

Goal Line TD or nothing, I would count on nothing.

45. DA’REL SCOTT @ KC

Scott gives the Giants their best pass protection.  Look for him to get a lot of action as Eli will need all the time he can get.

46. KENDALL HUNTER @ STL

47. ANDRE ELLINGTON @ TB

Ellington will not be useful if he does play.  I would not use him.

48. MONTEE BALL VS. PHI

No fumbles this week.  Montee may get PT.

49. BRANDON JACOBS @ KC

Look for Jacobs to get more invovled this week with his blocking abilities.

50. JONATHAN DWYER @ MIN

Gasping for air, Dwyer is a deep deep option.

51. DOMINIC BROWN @ JAX

If there was a possible chance of Dom Brown doing anything, this would be the week.

52. CHRIS OGBONNAYA VS. CIN

Chris does not have the potential to do much in this matchup outside of one big play.

53. ISAAC REDMAN @ MIN

Redman has basically lost his job and is quickly turning into nothing.

WR

1. BRANDON MARSHALL @ DET

The Lions won’t really have an answer for Marshall.  They will just try to contain him.

2. DEZ BRYANT @ SD

No Miles Austin means all Dez.

3. DESEAN JACKSON @ DEN

Lots of yards to be had by Desean in this one.

4. DEMARIYUS THOMAS VS. PHI

D-Thom can finally get his numbers back up this week against the Eagles.

5. WES WELKER VS. PHI

Wes will get a lot of action against the Eagles this week.

6. CALVIN JOHNSON VS. CHI

Megatron is a Monster.  Look for him to act like one against Charles Tillman.

7. JULIO JONES VS. NE

Julio is all Ryan has, he will get his targets.

8. AJ GREEN @ CIN

Joe Haden is tough, but AJ Green has shown matchup proof ability.  Maybe not a breakout week, but a good game can still be expected.

9. REGGIE WAYNE @ JAX

Wayne against the Jaguars is nothing.  This is his team he likes to play well against.  Blowout mode could limit him.

10. PIERRE GARCON VS. OAK

Garcon will be busy if RG3 has a chance to win back his fantasy owners.

11. ANTONIO BROWN @ MIN

Being in London can throw off Brown, but he will still be the man for Big Ben.

12. TORREY SMITH @ BUF

Torrey has the matchup to do some damage, blowout mode could limit him.

13. MARQUES COLSTON VS. MIA

Colston has no more Lance Moore in his way.  Look for Marques to get going again, matchup not great.

14. JULIAN EDELMAN @ ATL

Edelman will be Brady’s main weapon once again.  For another week, he has value.

15. ERIC DECKER VS. PHI

Eagles Secondary has holes, the question is will Peyton find Decker.

16. JOSH GORDON @ CIN

The Bengals secondary is beatup, which means Gordon should be able to get open.

17. MIKE WALLACE @ NO

Wallace should be able to get his deep balls this week, the question remains, will any be completed.

18. VICTOR CRUZ @ KC

Cruz has breakout potential every week, but the Chiefs defense is hot and Giants offense is not.  This is not the best matchup for the star.

19. HAKEEM NICKS @ KC

The Dream against the Chiefs is not a great matchup, but he has a revenge plot after zero catches..

20. DWAYNE BOWE VS. NYG

The Giants secondary has holes, and Dwayne Bowe is overdue for some damage on the fantasy football field.

21. CECIL SHORTS VS. IND

Shorts will get his garbage time, but Blaine Gabbert might not be able to get him the ball.

22. DENARIUS MOORE VS. WAS

D-Moore will get deep this week, all it takes is one.

23. ANQUAN BOLDIN @ STL

24. MIKE WILLIAMS VS. ARI

Mike Will has the chance to step up with Vincent Jackson limited.  Good chance to get some big points.

25. KENBRELL THOMPKINS @ ATL

Thompkins becomes one of the main targets for Brady with all the injuries.

26. VINCENT JACKSON VS. ARI

Tender ribs and Patrick Peterson is not a good combination for Jackson owners.

27. LARRY FITZGERALD @ TB

Revis Island will give Fitz a run for his money.  Not the money you want to be part of.

28. BRIAN HARTLINE @ NO

How could you be so Hartless is the player who could steal some thunder on Monday Night.  Not a must-start by any means.

29. STEVIE JOHNSON VS. BAL

Baltimore’s Defense as a whole should slow down Stevie.  They know he is the #1 guy to guard.

30. ANDRE JOHNSON VS. SEA

Andre80 against the Seahawks is not a matchup to like. Especially with Andre at less than 100%.

31. MARLON BROWN @ BUF

Brown has sleeper potential this week, if you are desperate he is a good option.

32. JASON AVANT @ DEN

Good Sleeper pick for Vicks safety valve.

33. SANTANA MOSS @ OAK

Moss could be busy this Sunday against Oakland.

34. SANTONIO HOLMES VS. TEN

Titans defense will not let Holmes breakout like he did last week.

35. NATE WASHINGTON @ NYJ

Nate the great is back to being #1 in the eyes of Locker.  Look for a lot of action but not too much success.

36. GREG JENNINGS VS. PIT

Steelers defense gets the job done against the Vikings.  Greg will be the main man for Cassel, but not main enough.

37. TAVON AUSTIN VS. SF

38. T.Y. HILTON @ JAX

T.Y. can break the long one at any play, just has to hope the game does not get away from Jacksonville.

39. CHRIS GIVENS VS. SF

40. MOHAMMED SANU VS. CLE

With Joe Haden watching AJ Green, Sanu could be busy this week.  Green should be fine though

41. SIDNEY RICE @ HOU

Rice has the size, but not the speed against the Texans secondary.

42. GOLDEN TATE @ HOU

Houston’s secondary will not make life easy.

43. RYAN BROYLES VS. CHI

Broyles long-term looks good, this week not a great start.  Hard to see a lot of guaranteed points.

44. DAVONE BESS VS. CIN

The Bengals secondary is lethal, but injured.  Look for Bess to have his plays.

45. ALSHON JEFFERY @ DET

Alshon could have his moments Sunday.  Nothing is guaranteed, but the upside is visible.

46. DARRIUS HEYWARD-BEY @ JAX

The Colts could get in blowout mode early, but DHB can get involved early.

47. ROD STREATER VS. WAS

Streater will get his value in the intermediate passing game.  Not exactly the sexiest pick.

48. KENDALL WRIGHT @ NYJ

Wright is #2 on the depth chart in Locker’s eyes.

49. DONNIE AVERY VS. NYG

Avery should have his opportunities to get his points.  Could be Dwayne Bowe’s week though.

50. EMMANUEL SANDERS @ MIN

51. EDDIE ROYAL VS. DAL

Royal is not a good WR and the first two weeks were more fluky than anything.  Dallas defense has a lot of people who can cover him.

52. RILEY COOPER @ DEN

Cooper is not an explosive option and the only thing you can hope for is the goal line TD.  Is possible.

53. AARON DOBSON @ ATL

Dobson gets second life with all the Patriot injuries.

54. ROBERT MEACHEM VS. MIA

With no Lance Moore, Meachem moves up one spot on the totem pole.

55. BRANDON GIBSON @ NO

Gibson could be busy in garbage time.

56. ANDRE ROBERTS @ TB

Roberts could be the underdog of the group.  Could is the keyword, but not likely to give you much in the fantasy world.

57. VINCENT BROWN VS. DAL

Vincent Brown has yet to show Fantasy potential like we all expected.  He has not shown the breakout potential we need, do not count on it now.

58. ROBERT WOODS VS. BAL

Woods has not been dependable enough to start yet this season, now is not the time.

59. STEPHEN HILL VS. TEN

The Titans secondary is very underrated, hard to see Geno Smith doing much damage in this one to support more than Santonio.

60. MICHAEL FLOYD @ TB

The TB secondary is lethal, tough to trust Floyd in this situation.

61. DEANDRE HOPKINS VS. SEA

The Seahawks secondary will make life tough on both DeAndre and Andre.

62. RODDY WHITE VS. NE

Roddy is not 100%, he is not a good start yet.

63. JEROME SIMPSON VS. PIT

The Steelers won’t make it easy on Cassel to find more than Jennings.  Pass on Simpson.

64. TERRENCE WILLIAMS @ SD

65. COLE BEASLEY @ SD

66. RUBEN RANDLE @ KC

67. JACOBY FORD VS. WAS

68. KENNY STILLS VS. NO

69. AUSTIN PETTIS VS. SF

TE

1. JIMMY GRAHAM VS. MIA

Jimmy is the man, nobody can stop him.

2. JASON WITTEN @ SD

With no Miles Austin, Witten can get more involved.

3. ANTONIO GATES VS. DAL

Rivers does not trust anyone else.

4. JULIUS THOMAS VS. PHI

JT is a great option for Peyton in the Redzone.

5. JORDAN CAMERON @ CIN

Expect the Browns to throw  a lot, Cameron can get his points.

6. COBY FLEENER @ JAX

Good bet for a Sleeper TD, not a lot more outside of that.

7. VERNON DAVIS @ STL

8. CHARLES CLAY @ NO

Clay will be busy on Monday Night in garbage time.

9. JARED COOK VS. SF

10. MARTELLUS BENNETT @ DET

Good garbage TD to steal Brandon Marshall’s balls.  Look for Tellus to get his Sunday.

11. TONY GONZALEZ VS. NE

A TD is likely, less than 50 Yards is as well.  Tony G has no more speed.

12. DALLAS CLARK @ BUF

Clark could get the yardage, but the TD is what he really needs.

13. BRANDON MYERS @ KC

Good option, but not a breakout option.  Myers should be busy.

14. DELANIE WALKER @ NYJ

Good safety valve for Locker, he can run after the catch.

15. HEATH MILLER @ MIN

TD or nothing for Miller.

16. SCOTT CHANDLER VS. BAL

Good bet for a sleeper TD.  Nothing more.

17. BRANDON PETTIGREW VS. CHI

Stafford does not look for Pettigrew enough.

18. MYCHAL RIVERA VS. WAS

Good deep sleeper if you need one.

19. FRED DAVIS @ OAK

Davis gets his chance for revenge with Jordan Reed out.

20. KYLE RUDOLPH VS. PIT

Cassel makes things interesting, still not a great matchup.

21. OWEN DANIELS VS. SEA

Too slow against Seattle.

22. JERMAINE GRESHAM @ CLE

Lots of blocking with the Blitzing Browns.

23. BRENT CELEK @ DEN

Could get his redzone TD.

24. KELLEN WINSLOW @ TEN

25. TYLER EIFERT @ CLE

26. JOESPH FAURIA VS. CHI

TD or nothing.

  1. Heyo, I got Ball and Miley Austin on my bench and I’m looking to pick up a solid contributor; who should I drop and who should I grab that has potential? R.helu , Alshon Jeffrey, Greg jennings, r.woods, c.givens.

  2. Montee Ball is a bust so far. Moreno has a better value over first four weeks and was available in plenty of leagues at the start of the season. Look at all rookie RBs; not many of’em have lived up to expectations so far…
There are RBs that can be used as a one week plug-ins from the waiver wire rather than waiting for a miracle with Montee.

  3. I’m another Montee victim. Not sure about the rb recommendations here. Forte is good so far, ball is bad. Mcgahee sucks, t rich isn’t special. It doesn’t take a genius to say that ap and else an McCoy are gonna score pts. Call me skeptical at 2-2 this yr. I think I’ll weigh this site and fantasypros equally from here on out. While I appreciate the qb/k combo strategy, not so crazy about Montee and waiting so long for a wr. I could have had jordy Nelson over ball! Oh well football still is awesome.

  4. Well…Goodluck!!
I have Montee on my Team as well, RB5. But based on Muntz’s rankings for my draft I also have Lynch, Murray and Reggie Bush as my RB1,RB2,RB3. Following the draft strategy I have Gronk for the second half of the season playoffs and I was able to trade a unknown TE Julius Thomas, that I picked up last on draftday for my new RB4 Le’Veon Bell. I had Bradshaw which looked good until he was asked to back-up Trent.

I believe Beast Dome is the only site that called out Peyton as the top QB. I don’t think any site identified that Denver’s passing attack would be so perfect that any RB would suffice.

  5. Well Thomas and gronk went in my league before munt predicted. My league doesn’t have any suckers and I think most leagues do. No worries, it’s all fun stuff. I just think its easy to say “Peyton is going to have a good year. Gronk when he comes back is going to be great!” Had he predicted Jordan Cameron’s success and some of the surprise performers that came out of nowhere I’d be more impressed. Julius Thomas is the closest he’s come but again, mannings te is always good. Tell me a surprise rb or wr to pick up this week and ill be impressed.

  6. Your asking for a psychic not a ff expert even though most wished they were. Don’t rely on one persons opinion to make or break your season. At the end of the day it’s your team and you have to make the best educated decisions that put you in the best position to win. Want a sleeper for next week? Marlon Brown ( if his thigh is fine) all he does is score td’s. Hopefully your season isn’t going as bad as you make it seem but nevertheless good luck!

  7. Nothing like an arm chair QB. What were your brilliant predictions for the season? If you were so sure of them, why follow Munt’s advice?

Petyon’s TEs are always good? Right. Tamme and Dreessen were fantasy gold in 2012. Everyone knew about Julius Thomas? That’s why he was drafted in a whopping 8% of NFL and Yahoo leagues.

I just think it’s easy to say “I’ll pick apart draft advice using hindsight, since it’s 20/20.” Had you bothered to share even a speck of your sage draft advice, I’d be more impressed.

  8. Sorry, not trying to be a hater, just saying, Munt was better last year. He’s missed on as many as he’s hit on. Ball and Thomas cancel each other out. I will keep up with his site, but I’m also gonna check Matt Berry and fantasypros. Ultimately, I weigh many sources’ advice and go with my gut. I like Munt a lot, I’m just kind of screwed because his strategy hasn’t panned out for me. My league is very competitive and most of the guys he predicted would be around late we’re gone earlier than expected. Again, not trying to hate, but Ball and Austin are hurting me.

  9. hahahaha – that was awesome!!! that cracked me up Munt…
well i tried to follow Munt’s draft strategy best i could…my league is very competitive also and alot of picks were going quicker than expected, but i followed…after tonights game i will probablt be 1-3 as i am 32 points behind with a qb and a te left to play tonight…my roster is
    qb’s : cam / tannehill
    rb’s are
    lynch, murray, s-jax, ball
    wr’s are
jordy nelson, bolden, shorts, gordon, miles austin
    te’s are
    gronk / clay
    bailey – k
    broncos – d
so i’m 1-2 going into this week and lost both games by less than combined 6 points…in a standard 12 team league…very little trading and very competitive…i’m sticking to the plan and banking on these guys to come thru…i feel if i can make the playoffs i will be fine…yes i am a little nervous now considering i will most likely be 1-3 after tonights game…but…thats the brakes…stop whining Hbomb, your 2-2 with the “so called bust players”…so your league doesnt sound to tuff to play in cause i got the same ones your talking about and i’m 1-3…i’m still laughing on Munt’s comment to Hbomb…

  10. also – i did not pick a qb till round 6 in my draft…tannehill was only one left worth anything…i mean only one left…eli, romo. cam, capernick – yes all was gone by round 6…i went 4 running backs first then gronk then qb….i had te thomas and picked him last round…traded him for cam – nobody else would bite on the trade…..i’ll ride it to the end and hope the draft strategy pans out with my rb’s, gronk, cam, and a couple recievers i got to make it to the playoffs…thanks for all you do Munt – i appreciate the site…

  11. “Mannings TE is always good”…. What about last season? He even had his guy from the Colts and that didn’t help any. Julius Thomas is good this season because Manning has 3 proven bad ass WR 1’s. Every D has watch Decker, Demaryus and Welker… Just typing those three guys made me tired, think about the D that has to defend them? Enter Super Freak Julius Thomas. This kid is going to be a super star here on out because of the shear volume of reps he’s getting with one of the greatest QB’s of all time. Manning doesn’t always have good TE’s bruda.

You need an RB.. Arians just called Mendenhall out and has been praising Ellington who has been looking Beast when he gets his chances. It’s a shot in the dark but it’s something.
Alfred Morris got hurt and we all got to see the Roy Helu show. I think Helu is the most talented out of the two and should not be taken lightly. He may be worth an add/stash.

  12. Julius Thomas isn’t good just because of the big 3 wr’s. JT was my preseason sleeper pick last year once Peyton signed with the Broncs. JT was the talk of the 2012 preseason camp in Denver before he got hurt. He just didn’t get the national attention. Give Peyton an athletic TE that’s a match up nightmare and he’ll exploit it, regardless of the WR groupings.

  13. what do you think about this trade fam…

    j bell and d murray
    for
    calvin johnson / b.pierce and j starks

    my other backs are bush/rice/mcghee/ball/

    wr’s are boldin/d.jackson/m.austin/m.williams

    record is 2-1-1

  14. Terrible trade for you. You give up your handcuff to Bush and a stud RB. While you get Megatron back, you don’t have the RB depth to make the trade. Given that you have both Bush and Rice, Bell is the FAR more valuable handcuff, as Bush is far more likely to get injured. Add to that the fact that Joique sees plenty of touches and goaline work, it’s an emphatic no-go.

The only way you should ever split up Bush/Joique is if you are trading them to separate teams. Don’t be the Reggie Bush owner caught without Joique. You’ll regret it.
