FANTASY FOOTBALL WAIVER WIRE

Down Goes Forsett (Week 12)

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

More on Marshawn Lynch and Jimmy Graham in an article tonight. For now let us focus on ways we can improve our team as there are a few valuable Free Agents after a semi-injured Week 12.

RB

THOMAS RAWLS – SEA

It breaks my heart that I waived Rawls once I saw a healthy Marshawn run over the 49ers Defense on Thursday Night Football a few weeks ago. Rawls looked great against a 49ers run Defense that has it’s problems, but with Marshawn Lynch and his season hanging a huge question mark. Rawls is Must-Add in all leagues if it is not too late. He will not be a BEAST in the way he was on Sunday, but he will be a RB#2/RB#1 more often than not.

BUCK ALLEN – BAL

Called a Justin Forsett injury before you were born. Was on that Mr. T diet, but then Mr. T went down, which is now all Buck. Read it here.

TEVIN COLEMAN – ATL

Devonta Freeman is expected to play Week 12. Tevin Coleman did not do a lot to take advantage of his opportunity with Freeman leaving the 1st Quarter with a concussion. A concussion for a RB like Devonta Freeman could really mess up his game because what made Freeman so special this year compared to last year, was his ability to not give a Fu*k about who was in his way and he was going to run full speed into you. After a concussion, that will definitely do some damage to that thought process. Stash Coleman, he could get a lot of his reps back from earlier in the season.

WR

DEVIN FUNCHESS – CAR

Finally Funchess saw more than a handful of targets. He saw 8 to be exact, and that turned to his best game of the season with 4 Receptions for 64 Yards and a TD. He is still not trustworthy in the Fantasy Football world as Cam has plenty of average players to throw the ball to (Ginn/Brown/Cotchery) as well as his star Greg Olsen. Still, Devin could be on the brink of being a low-end WR#3 with another good week.

LANCE MOORE – DET

When you woke up on Sunday Morning, were you a little chilly. The closer we get to New Years Even, the colder it will get. With the Lions offense heating up and Dome Game from here on out to go with a 2 game winning streak, not a bad idea to grab Lance Moore if you have the space. He is not the most consistent and this is more of a desperation stash, than a WR#5.

CHRIS HARPER – NE

If Danny Amendola is out. If Aaron Dobson is out. Harper appears to be the next man up after an amazing catch that was called back by penalty. Brady liked what he saw so much he forced a horrible deep throw with a 2 score lead in the 4th quarter. Harper has some nice upside if he is pushed into the starting lineup because of injuries to players in front of him. If Amendola or Dobson play this week, pretend you never read this. If Amendola does not play but Dobson does, then Dobson is the guy.

TE

VERNON DAVIS – DEN

Vern after reading. Click that link to see what my thoughts were when Vernon Davis joined the Broncos. The days of Colin Kaepernick ruining his value are gone. Vernon Davis will be a consistent low-end TE#1 moving forward.

  1. Man, can’t wait for marshawn/Graham article. So sick of Jimmy, got Reed for a back up, almost want to drop Graham and roll Reed/Davis. What a disappointment… Not like that team doesn’t need a receiver… Not sure why they don’t line fjax up to block every play and unleash the Jimmy in the slot.
