FANTASY FOOTBALL 2015:

First Sleeper BEAST of the Season (Austin Seferian-Jenkins)

BEAST DOME NATION.

With the #1 pick of the 2015 NFL Draft. The Tampa Buccaneers finally added the QB Josh Freeman was supposed to be. With Jameis Winston joining a lethal squad that features Vincent Jackson and BEAST DOME Sleeper of 2014, Mike Evans. Things are already looking bright for the future QB star who was throwing to a 5’10 WR at Florida State as his #1 option, and a very slow TE in Nick O’Leary who almost won TE of the year his Junior year, only to win it his next season as a Senior.

There is no doubt the Buc’s have a bright future, and the biggest X-Factor of all who is going to break out is last season’s BEAST ALERT.

“..ASJ is the next Rob Gronkowski/Jimmy Graham/Julius Thomas” –  MUNTRADAMUS

This season is as good as any for that prediction to come true. With new offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter who was the mastermind behind the Matt Ryan offense in Atlanta over the last few seasons, there is good reason to believe ASJ will be a BEAST in 2015.

For one thing, the Buc’s forced Brandon Myers to take $1 million instead of $2.5 million, which almost guarantees he will be seeing the field less otherwise he would not restructure. The Buc’s also made it clear that it would be ASJ’s world at the TE spot, and we would just be living in it.

For a second thing, Dirk was responsible for revitalizing the career of Tony Gonzalez and now finds himself in a similar situation where he has two BEAST WR’s on the outside like he did in Atlanta (Julio Jones/Roddy White) vs. (Vincent Jackson/Mike Evans). Dirk has no problems using ASJ in the exact role Tony Gonzalez who was used to rack up Top 5 TE numbers.

For a third thing, Jameis already loves to throw to his TEs. Using a slow (4.9/40 Yard Dash) Nick O’Leary who has the arm length of a T-Rex, and making him standout as the Nations top TE in the College Football World is going to be a completely different experience when he throws to the 6’5/262 BEAST in ASJ who is quicker and bigger than most linebackers in the league. With Jameis’s new star WR’s stretching the field, ASJ will have all the space in the world to do what he wants, and become the next Tony Gonzalez.

For a fourth thing, Jeff Tedford is gone and out of Tampa. He was the worst OC I have ever seen as he would run the ball time after time anytime the Buc’s were in the game or had a lead. Once the game was out of hand, the Buc’s would still feature a full back and his offense made no sense as they barely stretched the field despite having two of the biggest playmaker WR’s in the game.

ASJ played 2014 injured. He was splitting time with Brandon Myers and only showed a glimmer of greatness on a Buc’s team that was horrible to watch all season. With a new OC who has actually had success, along with one of the best passing games in the league on paper. As well as a Rookie QB who already loves throwing to TE’s, and is comfortable doing it. The Buc’s are ready to make everyone say once again. TDZ MAKE THEM DANCE. Which in return will have you drafting..

Your BEAST DOME TE Sleeper of the year.

  1. Damn!!! Im drafting him round 9 in my 14 team, just like how I drafted Gronk his rookie year =). BEAST

  2. Thanks Munt! Again you pull some crazy Sleeper BEAST picks…much props!

  3. Agony waiting for September!!! Definitely on board with you for a fourth season Munt!! BEAST!

  4. I was expecting some interesting picks from you. And you have always delivered. Can’t wait for the next one. Also last year your articles were only few and far between. Just wondering if you would write more for your fans this season.

  5. Its definitely going to be interesting to see if the Bucs can turn things around. ASJ is going undrafted in all 10 team mocks for me so far. I can definitely take him in the last round, my only concern is his SoS, ranked tied for 23rd for TE’s. Maybe i’m just too caught up in SoS atm… Anyway, do you think their is another TE we should look at earlier or just go with ASJ?

  6. Hey Munt, with the Bucs adding Tim Wright at TE, does this change your outlook for ASJ?
