BEAST DOME NATION.

There are times in every Fantasy Football Season where you have the opportunity to pickup that key player that makes a difference for your squad. A lot of teams that picked up Aaron Jones think they picked up that player, they could not be further away from the truth.

Lets first backup and see why Aaron Jones is even on the Fantasy Radar. After an injury to Ty MontyG breaking his ribs, Jones was still behind Jamaal Williams. When Williams went down, Jones got his opportunity. A late TD against the Bears when Rodgers was healthy + a breakout game against the Cowboys when the defense was clearly more worried about Aaron Rodgers tearing them up had the Aaron Jones Hype Train bursting.

After getting shutdown the week Rodgers went down against the Vikings, then returning home to play a Saints Defense that has been historically not a good unit. The Jones hype train was on it’s last legs. When Jones broke out a few large runs which led to nearly 100 Yards in the first half, less than 50 yards in the second half. The Aaron Jones Hype Train is still pounding strong.

Everyone believes they have a true #1/#2 RB. In reality, he will likely be on the Waiver Wire before the season is over.

While Aaron Jones does run hard, he also runs straight into contact more often than not without the great vision you need when you play a tough defense. The most important factor here is Ty Monty G’s health. He should be much closer to 100% after the bye week and even though Jones did enough to earn himself a role in this offense, MontyG and his skillset might better suit what the Packers really want to do and run the Aaron Rodgers offense through Hundley. Their WRs are what make the Packers special and when the Packers decide to start throwing more, we will see more and more of Jones. On the sidelines.

  1. WTF!!! That is one rush.

Jones will have over 100 yds and a score. DET D is missing a key piece on the D-line.
