TRADE + WAIVER WIRE WEEK 2 – 3 (UPDATED)

UPDATE ADRIAN PETERSON GETTING SURGERY OUT 3-4 Months (Basically Season)

DO NOT WAIVE AP YET

Check out the updated Waiver Wire. Ask questions if you have any. Note that Ronnie Hillman signed with the Vikings and in reality he is better than both RBs. Straight committee.

*YOU CAN DROP AP IF THERE IS A MUST-OWN or RB3/WR3 on Wire.

TERRELLE PRYOR MUST OWN

With Corey Coleman breaking his hand, Pryor will be the guy for whatever it is worth for the next few weeks. WR#4 Quality add him with speculation he can be more. Josh Gordon sounds like he is still up to his dumb ways. He ranks ahead of Kenny Britt

TRADE MARKET WEEK 2 – 3

Comment in your own comment if you want me to come up with a trade.

Re-Post Roster in comment it is easier for me to read that way.

QB

Just play the Waiver Wire. No QBs to get rid of, none to acquire. Joe Flacco should be sitting on the bottom of every Wire, he is QB1 potential when the matchup is right. If you are feeling really unsure about QB (Stafford is fine Lions WRs had 11+ Drops on Sunday and Staff had 2 TDs called back) then comment.

RB

BUY LOW

JONATHAN STEWART

Before J-Stew went down, he was involved in the first 3 plays of the game collecting a 1st Down. He is a major key to this offense, grab him and you will have a TD machine by the end of the season. Do not pay too much, his cost will not be a lot.

JEREMY HILL

The Bengals schedule will open up soon, when it does Jeremy Hill will be a 20+ Carry/game back who rushes for 100 Yards all the time. I don’t know why Bengals are throwing the ball like there is no tomorrow. Team would be so much stronger if they established Hill.

LATAVIUS MURRAY

Ya Latavius is not the bell cow RB we expected, but he is such a stud that you have to assume his role will grow. Raiders offense is explosive, Latavius is on a TD binge. He may cost a lot, but he is worth seeing if you can get in a trade.

MARK INGRAM

Even with Ingram looking fat and slow, the Saints are giving him zero competition. Cadet and Hightower get their occasional plays, but this is all about Mark Ingram. Those TDs will start to come.

MATT JONES

If the Redskins would run more, Jones would be a BEAST. Soon they will see throwing the ball 40+ times is not how to win Football Games. Jones has shown some BEAST flashes.

SELL HIGH

Last Week Sell High was Doug Martin and Spencer Ware. Owners who own both missed out on big trade opportunities. Both have lost tremendous value. I would still move both players if you can.

EDDIE LACY

Lacy is not getting the job done. You can still get a star RB for him, maybe even DeMarco Murray. Take the move, Starks is looking better than Lacy, Spiller may join team.

LAMAR MILLER

Miller is per volume. Not breaking any tackles, Lamar is getting what the defense gives him. Sooner or later, all these carries will really catch up with him. Either way he is never that special, a ton of hype for nothing. If you can get Forte/McCoy. Make the move and get rid of the overrated RB. Forte would be great.

TODD GURLEY

Gurley is on a really bad offense this year. So bad it is not going to get better. See if you can get Forte, see if you can get AP and something else. Get rid of Gurley while he has 1st Round value.

DEANGELO WILLIAMS

Just make sure you get any of the players above if you sell D-Will. Steelers will use both RBs when Le’Veon returns from suspension.

WR

BUY LOW

GOLDEN TATE

The targets are there for Tate, nearly had a 60 Yard TD that was just overthrown. Tate is the man for Stafford, with Jones dropping more balls than Tate last week, Tate can earn his way back into Mr. Reliable for Staff. The Price is nothing to get him.

D-THOMAS/EMMANUEL SANDERS

Broncos have had a tough early schedule and it continues to Week 3. Soon the Broncos schedule will open up, D-Thomas and Emmanuel will be solid WR1/WR2 value.

MOHAMED SANU

Missed out on Sanu mania? Get him for the low now that he put up human numbers in Week 2. Matt Ryan still nearly threw for 400 Yards, Sanu will get his. Last week was a fluke.

SELL HIGH

LARRY FITZGERALD

Fitz is BEASTING and you can now get Top 15 WR for him. Take the move, grab someone like Golden Tate. Get a player on a team that is throwing the ball 40+ Times a game, and not a player who is blowing teams out in the weak NFC West.

TE

Waiver Wire is so deep at TE. No need to make trades for any.

WAIVER WIRE WEEK 2 – 3

As always post your team below. Make sure to include Record.

Also helps if you include the best guys available according to my Rankings. If you are interested in someone I did not list go ahead and ask.

PW will change after Week 2.

PLAYERS LISTED IN ORDER OF RANK

QB

screen-shot-2016-09-19-at-8-47-54-pm

MUST OWN

Matt Ryan

This has to be nothing short of just not updating from Week 1. We all know he is the man again and many of us own him

Ryan Fitzpatrick

Magic is not afraid to launch it deep and is looking like a QB1 right now. Keep rolling with him as a strong backup.

Joe Flacco

Flacco has the weapons to get it done this year. With Pitta looking healthy as well, Flacco is a Top 10 QB when the matchup is right.

Dak Prescott

The combination of running and passing keeps him alive. He is nothing like the passers above him, but he has good upside.

QB2 POTENTIAL

Alex Smith

Just not an exciting Fantasy Option. Steady. Steady.

Brock Oz

The Pass Attempts will be there, but he is not that good of a QB and is not reliable.

CARSON WENTZ

The safe version of Ryan Tannehill, Wentz is not flashy but those rushing numbers really add up.

Ryan Tannehill

Still makes mistakes and the Dolphins offense is horrible to watch.

TREVOR SIEMIAN

Trevor still has the great passing touch. Soon he will have one of those games that put him on the radar.

Sam Bradford

Still learning the Vikings system, has the weapons but he still looks lost at times.

RB

screen-shot-2016-09-19-at-8-48-22-pm screen-shot-2016-09-19-at-8-48-38-pm screen-shot-2016-09-19-at-8-49-16-pm

RB3 POTENTIAL

MATT ASIATA

Read Purple Jesus article.

JERRICK MCKINNON

Read Purple Jesus article.

DARREN SPROLES

Sproles is very much involved in the Eagles offense. 10+ touches seem to be automatic.

SHANE VEREEN

Jennings is expected to practice Wednesday, so until Jennings misses a game Vereen remains a high upside PPR option but definitely a risky play.

JAMES WHITE

White will have a nice role until Lewis returns. Nothing flashy but he gets the job done in PPR Leagues.

RB 4 POTENTIAL

DEVONTAE BOOKER

Booker looks like a future stud. The carries are there, and they can reach double digits before the season is done.

ALFRED MORRIS

The Mail Truck will get a larger role as the season goes. Zeke running 100, it is a long season.

JAMES STARKS

Starks still looks nifty, but Lacy is looking more and more like the old Lacy. Still not vintage, but good enough to keep Starks on the sidelines.

TERRANCE WEST

West looks more explosive than Forsett. Good upside player, he should get more opportunities as the season goes.

JAY AJAYI

Not a very talented RB, Jay might get a shot to regain his spot if Arian has to miss a game. Maybe.

RONNIE HILLMAN

Hillman should emerge as a threat as the season goes, for now he is nothing but a change of pace.

CJ2K

If David Johnson misses any time, CJ2K still looks vintage.

FOZZY WHITTAKER

Expect Cameron Artis-Payne to be active next week. Fozzy will be a risky start while J-Stew is out.

WR

screen-shot-2016-09-19-at-8-49-35-pm

screen-shot-2016-09-19-at-8-49-54-pm

WR2 POTENTIAL

VICTOR CRUZ

BEAST

PHILLIP DORSETT

Moncrieff may miss a game, Dorsett would be very exciting.

WR3/4 POTENTIAL

TERRELLE PRYOR READ TOP OF ARTICLE

KENNY BRITT

Britt and his role as the solid WR#1 continues to grow with this team. Fisher taking him to the vintage days.

ANQUAN BOLDIN

Choosen Quan got his TD. Had another wiped away from a penalty. Good deep option.

NELSON AGHOLOR

The clear #2 for Wentz, Agholor has some potential to reach the level fantasy experts wrongfully predicted last season.

PIERRE GARCON

Garcon is reliable, but Docston is coming on strong almost knocking Pierre out.

QUINCY ENUWA

Only reason to own Quincy is if you own Marshall or Decker. Quincy is too unreliable unless one of them goes down.

TYRELL WILLIAMS

*Future BEAST or BUST. Could somehow find his way into the endzone against a Bad Colts Team. Long-term not a good bet not a good player and the Chargers are far away from throwing this guy 10 targets in a game.

EDDIE ROYAL

Reliable #2 WR for Cutler. Kevin White is on the rise, but Royal is legit the safe guy.

TE

screen-shot-2016-09-19-at-8-50-13-pm

TE 1 POTENTIAL

JACOB TAMME

Ol Reliable is catching everything. He is getting targeted more than Sanu and Jones, definitely worth the add at this point.

KYLE RUDOLPH

Rudolph should be involved more and more with AP out.

DENNIS PITTA

Pitta is looking vintage and could be a sneaky TE1 by next week.

JARED COOK

Cook will be a reliable #1 before the season is done. Packers offense looking whacky early.

ZACH MILLER

Nothing exciting, but he gets those 4+ Points with the best of them.

VIRGIL GREEN

Virg is solid as a player, but not reliable yet.

D/ST

MIAMI

Dolphins finally hosting their home opener. Does not get much easier going up against a 3rd String QB and the Cleveland Browns. Expect the D-Line to go NUTS in the matchup.

NYG

Giants hosting the Redskins should be favorable. Cousins is not looking accurate at all and the Giants Defense looked dominant shutting down Drew Brees. Chances are they shut down Cousins as well.

DALLAS

If you want some Sunday Night action, Dallas D should be dominant at home against a Bears team that could be using Brian Hoyer. Bears season going down hill, Dallas D will help it.

Lacy may not be getting the job done but neither is the packers offense and Oline…couldn’t a lot of it be that they played 2 solid run defenses and make it 3 by next week? Starks hasn’t been impressive either.,

The packers schedule is money mid season…Starks may be in the way but Lacy has never needed 20 carries to be productive so wouldn’t it be wise to keep him he’s always been a slow starter as well and has made some nice runs. Spiller I feel if added hurts Starks more than lacy..

i can’t get Demarco for him What other star rb can I get or should I get Allen Robinson, alshon Jeffrey type player since I have to start 3wrs? What package deal should I do. Give me options please :) Thanks.

I forgot to add that lacys ypc is at 4.6 while Starks is at 11 carries for 10 yards. Should I give lacy another week? I think it’s more than just lacy, Rodgers is looking sketchy as well and read that maccarthy wants run more. Maybe lacy gets 20 carries.

        • Muntradamus September 21, 2016   Reply →

Offense looks flat, just saying to trade him for star. Starks still looks good even though those numbers are what they are, that is why they keep playing him.

      • Muntradamus September 21, 2016   Reply →

Gore will fill in nicely at RB for Lacy and Dorsett will go to Flex with Moncrief out. Very strong team.

Try to trade Lacy and Mike Wallace. In exchange you can maybe get Forte, you can maybe get CJA. If you can get Ingram for those two, that is a steal.

Let me know. Thhrow in VJax to any of those trades if it helps get a deal done.

Any thoughts on Jamison Crowder in that pass happy offense? Would really like to target a wr to trade for. Also, any thoughts on Dwayne Washington during Abdullah’s absence? Would you drop anyone from this roster for Flacco or Agholor? Kenny Britt also available.

Tyrell Williams will never see burn on your roster. You need a RB.

Go with James White this week he should get a long of swing passes in PPR, easy 6 catches. Hate to say drop Morris because he has RB2 potential down the line. Also dont want you to drop Tyrell since he has trade value.

Throw a combo trade of Tyrell and Morris, for Jonathan Stewart. Post update and WW Deadline for me

    Record 1-1

    QB: Eli, Stafford
RB: McCoy, Hill, Gore, Ware, Henry, Sims
WR: Julio, Amari, Cobb, Dorset, Sanu
    TE: Julius Thomas
    DEF: Cardinals
    K: Prater

The cardinals D won me matchup this past week, but gotta say I am nervous about my team, particularly at RB. Even the QBs both disappointed in good matchups.

Looking at this week, I don’t have any confidence in any of RB considering their opponents. Ware has been carrying my squad and he will be up against the Jets with possibility of Charles returning.

Any waiver or trade advice? Alfred Morris and CJ2K are out there but that’s about it. Trades are tough in my league, esp this early and no one is interested in any of the players that I got, no point selling low.

    • Muntradamus September 20, 2016   Reply →

Gore is going to have a nice week. Comfortable RB2 for him, same with Sims if Douggie is OUT.

Keep team as is. Stafford had 2 TDs called back threw off entire offensive rhythm. Both Tate and Jones were dropping everything

    Orange Julius/Ebron
    Prater

    McKinnon, Asiata, Fozzy, C Artis-Payne, T West, CJ2K, A Ellington

Drop Vincent Jackson. Add Terrance West.

Roll with both West and Forsett and hope they combine for over 20 Points against the struggling Jags this week and at least 15. They can make it happen.

I know for your team it is best to add Tamme since he goes well with Matty and Sanu.

Truth is Jared Cook is the future at TE. So while Tamme may be better in Week 3, then Cook goes on bye to Week 4. You may be able to slide away. However Pitta on the Wire too. The TE position is so deep this year that you can drop Cook and know everything will be ok. I dont see anyone picking him up in your league and he should be there after his Week 4 Bye.

      • Muntradamus September 20, 2016   Reply →

        Better yet.

    WW:

I’m mostly worried about my RB’s (Williams) and WR’s (lost Keenan Allen) thinking I need to make some trades to really lock down my power rankings.

Need trade advice. Maybe 2-for-1 for a WR? Few owners are hungry for RB depth in my league. Or should I try and target RBs? Thinking of R.Mathews+Langford for A.Rob, or S.Ware instead of Mathews if the owner goes for it. Will have a hard time replacing Mathews unless i leverage something with D.will. Thanks Muns!

Langford has no trade value, have to wait him out. Ware is more realistic.

But the team needs Golden Tate for a fraction of the price.

See if you can trade Sharpe and Ware for Tate and walk away knowing you trade Raped the owner

Now that A Peterson is out for several months, is it worth trying to get him on the bench for the rest of the season? Either trade or pick up on waiver if he is dropped? Also, S Smith Sr. was just dropped and is available on waiver. Do you still like him?

        • Muntradamus September 21, 2016   Reply →

If you need that roster spot for someone valuable go for it. Do not trade for him, just stash. He is likely going to be waived in a week or two when they say he is out for the year.

With someone like SSS still on the wire, go ahead and add SSS in all leagues. In all leagues if you have AP drop him for SSS

WW: Bortles, Flacco, CJ2K, Starks, Tyrell, Royal

I jumped on Dorsett when Moncrief news came out and dropped my kicker… Tried to get Staff off waivers last week but someone else grabbed him, I’ve been trying to trade for him but no luck so far. In general I have been trying to trade 2-for-1s to make room on my roster and get someone like Latavius or Gore, but no one is budging.

I think I could get Demariyus for DeAngelo straight up if DT struggles this week. Could also package AJG with a bench player for Bell (maybe).
Could get Cruz or T Benjamin for Ware straight up, though JC not looking close to returning. JC owner also has Shady and Gore, but is reluctant to trade these guys away.

    10-team standard, 1-1 record

    TE: Julius
    K: Empty!
    DST: NE

WW: Matty Ice, Bortles, CJ2K, Alf, Cruz, Travis Benjamin, Tyrell, Enunwa

Dropped Bortles for Wallace off waivers and dropped my kicker for Dorsett when Moncrief news came out today. I love this team and don’t know who to drop at all… Great guys still on waivers and obviously have to fill that kicker spot (also want to grab Matty for the dome combo w/ Staff)… Not dropping AP until you say it’s OK (do you think we will know after tomorrow’s surgery?). No one willing to trade yet.

    • Muntradamus September 21, 2016   Reply →

Trade D-Will and Ware for Ingram or McCoy if that works. Throw in Crowell. Bortles should not be on any wire, you can add him if those trades do not go through. Drop Crowell. Browns offense is done this year With that being said.

Try Crowell and Barnidge for a solid TE whose on the wire? For those two try Ebron and if you want to get fancy try Julius Thomas. Get Ware in that trade to make it happen. Ware/Barnidge for JThomas

      TEAM 2

Trade Mike Wallace and Crowell for a backup TE, like Ebron. Add Matty Ice with extra spot, actually you can drop AP for Matty Ice. Once you get that trade done, add a Kicker

Try trading Tyrell Williams while his value is so hot. Your team needs a strong RB, stronger than Lacy.

First try Lacy for Ingram straight up, if rejected. Give in Tyrell Williams, get Ingram and watch that TD total double. You need to win now, Packers heading to Week 4 bye not helping

    Munt, I have a dilemma…

    Current Roster,
QB: Return of the Matts (Matt Ryan, Stafford)
RB: Forte, Matt Jones, Frank Gore, Riddick, Abdullah(IR slot), Ivory, Yeldon, Duke Johnson
WR: A.J. Green, Amari Cooper, Golden Tate
    TE: Julius Thomas
    K:—
    DEF: Dolphins

I’m down 45 Points behind with only Matty Ice left to play. I can either add Matt Bryant and QB/K my way to victory or … add your beast call in Pryor, who is a Free Agent in my league(no WW), but I need to drop someone, would you advise me to drop anyone? or stand as is. I know its Sunday, but I’d appreciate a little help.

    Thanks Beast!!

Sorry Adam did not see in time.

As far as Waiver Wire moves. Try to add Horward or Pryor. Alfred Morris as well.

      You can drop Abdullah
