HUNTING FOR A BEAST

BEAST DOME NATION.

There have you seen it yet. Kareem Hunt continues to fail to impress a Football game until about the 4th Quarter in just about every single game. While that is usually the case, Kareem Hunt going up against the Raiders on Thursday Night Football has nothing but Dream world written all over it.

Come to think of it, KC has been on primetime TV a lot this season. 4 of their first 7 games to kick off 2017 have been on PrimeTime TV, and to be right on schedule, they play nexy Monday Night as well.

Kareem Hunt does have a lot of nice things about his game, he runs hard, he does not get tired, he has speed. A matchup against the Raiders should expose those nice things about Hunt as the Raiders Defense has failed to look impressive pretty much all year. Hunt should be able to control the ball and could easily see a game of 20+ carries giving him the stats he needs, and breakout runs he needs, for everyone to jump in has bandwagon as if it is never going to break.

Oakland on offense has yet to get going. Derek Carr has been more conservative than launching the ball down the field from Christmas Past. He likes those checkdowns to Cooper and Crabtree and watch them make people miss. Cooper had about 70 Yards of deep ball taken away last week because of penalty, something that has plagued the Raiders since the Ice Age Days. Marshawn Lynch is running hard, that pass rush is coming fast, Carr does not want to take another hit to his back. We can expect those quick passes to remain very much in the playbook this week.

RAIDERS 17

CHIEFS 20

KC’s Defense is the real deal and they complete the meal deal with their defense going on the road and winning this game, while Kareem Hunt churns for every yard he can. It is a game of inches, Kareem Hunt will get those inches.
