IS DAK FOR REAL? (Week 13)

For the first time since Dak has been a Cowboy. Dallas is looking at missing the playoffs. In a season where the Giants disappeared with injuries, and the Eagles flying high with Carson Wentz being Alex Smith on steroids while the Defense is one of the best in the NFC. The Cowboys and Redskins are fighting for their lives and a playoff spot.

Without Zeke to shoulder the load, Alfred Morris gets a great revenge opportunity against his former team. Redskins Run D has been stronger than their numbers show. If it was not for the greatest Running Game on Turf “Saints” then then Redskins Run D would be among the top half of the NFC. If Morris fails to do his thing, Dak has to turn it on and be the QB everyone thought he was last year. Dez will see a tough matchup with Josh Norman likely all game. While Dak could ignore Dez and hit his other targets, when Dez makes plays it creates an electricity in the building which wakes up the entire offense. Dez needs to be involved and if he is not, I doubt the Cowboys come away with a win.

If all those things fail, and that horrible secondary has to deal with a Kirk Cousins who earned his paycheck because of his historic Thanksgiving game he had against the Cowboys last season, (41/53 449 Yards/3 TDs), then the Cowboys are in trouble. While Kirk is not working with the biggest name WRs in the game, Ryan Grant & Josh Doctson as supporting characters to Vernon Davis and Jamison Crowder. The Redskins offense is ran under a perfect system thanks to Ex Bengals OC now Head Coach Jay Gruden. The same offense that Hue Jackson inheritied, which led him to a HC job with the Browns. Which shows why the Browns are a bad team because their HC has nothing unique about his skill. While the Dallas Secondary is missing many of the key contributors that made them a Playoff team a year ago.

In the end. Too much pressure on Dak. Is Dak for real?

I think so eventually in his career. However when his weapons are not there, Dak will likely disappear.
