THURSDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

IF I GO CRAZY WILL YOU STILL CALL ME SUPERCAM

(WEEK 11)

BEAST DOME NATION.

The Panthers offense in 2015 was easily the most explosive in the NFL. With the addition of Kelvin Benjamin coming back from a knee injury, Super Cam was supposed to be an automatic #1 Fantasy QB after tearing it up in 2015. If Cam Newton did not have 30+ Points last season, you were disappointed.

This season Cam has been a HUGE disappointment.

Only once has Cam been SuperCam in 2016, and that was back in Week 2.

On top of it all, Cam has been getting crushed with big hits all season long. You can definitely tell there has been some mileage on Cam when you see him take the shot gun snap. His throws sometimes sail like they always have, but his rushing attempts are way down.

Last season it only took Cam 6 games to get 54 Rushing Attempts. 9 Games in he is just at 57, after a season high 12 last week.

So is Cam slowing down? Is this the end?

The answer.

The Party is just getting started.

Look for Cam to launch the ball and take over a Saints Defense that really leaves nothing to the imagination. The Saints have some talent in their Front 7, but are extremely weak in their secondary with Delvin Breaux out for the season. Main problem for the Saints is once again the team has been plagued with injuries to their defense from James Laurinitis being out for the season, to Paul Kruger and Dannelle Ellerbee being banged up throughout the year.

Panthers win this game and start their momentum towards getting back into the Playoff Hunt.

  1. Breaux isn’t out for the year. He played the last 2 games…He’s questionable tonight.

I don’t think JL is even hurt. I think he was just too old too play. Ellerbee is finally back healthy, as is the 1st round DT Rankins. C’mon Munt. You usually put more effort into these.

  2. Thanks for the Advice!

  3. Fibula injury I assumed he was done. Even if he comes back he will never be the same.

I said injuries throughout the year, Ellerbee was not healthy for the first chunk of the season
