THURSDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

BORTLES’ BABIES

WEEK 8

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

If there is one thing that has surprised me the most to start this season, it is the fact that Blake Bortles and Allen Robinson cannot get on the same page. Not only Allen Robinson, but nearly all Jags are having horrible years after such huge upside from a season ago.

Julius Thomas looks like he is playing injured.

Allen Hurns is not getting nearly the numbers he was a year ago.

Allen Robinson has yet to break 100 Yards.

Why is this happening? Because Blake Bortles looks like a completely different QB than he did last season, as well as the preseason where he was easily Top 5 a couple months ago. Throwing wobbly ducks. Dropped Passes. Penalties. Weak Run Game.

A lot of Jag owners are panicking. Ivory and Yeldon may be on your Waiver Wire, same with Thomas.

I am here to tell you. Thursday Night is their night to regain the Mojo they once had. National TV, Color Rush, only game going on for the night with the whole league watching as well. Look for Bortles to put on a show, and Allen Robinson will be on the backend of the performance.

Bortles will be firing the ball all over the field to all of his WRs, including USC superstar Marqise Lee who has carved out a nice slot WR role for himself on the team. Robinson will get his deep balls. Julius Thomas might take a step back this week not being 100%, but the Jags have enough options to make up for it. Defense is playing at a HIGH level. Jaguars offense comes alive and leave Tennessee with a W.

As well as momentum to win the AFC South
