BEAST DOME RECAP

BEAST DOME NATION.

If your league is still alive in the Fantasy Football world. The one and only Waiver Wire claim is of course De’Angelo Williams. If your league is still alive, post below any Waiver Wire questions. Keep in mind that it is Week 17, and figuring out the best sleepers for D/ST and potential at WR or RB would have to be determined later in the week as we hear news of about players that are injured, and players that are sitting because their team is done.

HERE IS THE 2016 BEAST DOME FANTASY FOOTBALL RECAP

The heart and soul of BEAST DOME this season was supposed to be Adrian Peterson.

That obviously did not work out Adrian Peterson went down in Week 2. While for many that would be the crushing blow and the end of your season to lose your #1 Pick. Many of the VIPs not only made the Playoffs, but some went on to win their championship.

A big reason they were able to win their Championship this season is because of the QB Strategy that no other Fantasy Football Website can compete with in 2016.

The Prediction held true as Stafford and Ryan were Top 5 QBs for a majority of the season. Unfortunately for both players, Matt Ryan lost Julio Jones towards the stretch run of the season. Matt Stafford lost Theo Riddick. Two players that really were difference makers for the entire offense.

Regardless the Sleepers at each Position were BEAST. Now for a recap of each position.

QB

Everything explained above. Even if you were not a VIP, you probably had Stafford or Matt Ryan on your team. Some VIPs had Carr or Bortles, but in the end Ryan and Stafford were on those squads.

Thoughts on Bortles. The Jaguars offense was described as a black porsche driving down the Freeway at Top speed during the preseason. During the regular season the Jaguars could not look more off. It will be interesting to see how the Jaguars pull everything together next season, but you have to imagine if the right moves are made during the offseason, they can be the dangerous team we expected them to be, in 2017.

RB

Adrian Peterson went down. Second year in a row the BEAST DOME #1 overall goes down, Marshawn Lynch last season. The reason why a lot of you survived Adrian Peterson was because of the emphasis of drafting Sleeper RBs.

screen-shot-2016-12-28-at-3-33-32-amMatt Forte and LeSean McCoy were vital parts of the Draft Strategy.

Latavius Murray ended up on just about everyone’s roster, and when the going got tough. I told you that Latavius’ Carries matter and he should be acquired in all leagues.

J-Stew had his clutch moments, Frank Gore was rock solid, DeMarco Murray started to fade.

Only players who were RB targets that really hurt were Matt Jones and Jeremy Langford. Both lost jobs when they got injured.

In the end, the RB collection should have been enough for every squad.

 WR

WR was an interesting position this year for BEAST DOME.

There were some legendary picks like Terrelle Pryor, and Kenny Britt was also nice for a diamond in the rough.

However the picks that really made a difference were the Emmanuel Sanders/Michael Crabtree/Mike Wallace.

Did a good job calling a lot of Busts at WR, even if I did miss on Jordy.

Golden Tate will end up with his 1,000 Yard season, but those numbers definitely were not what we expected. Less than 5 TD is unacceptable, and the only reason it happened is because the Lions did not run enough screen passes for Tate in the Redzone. Instead they relied on Stafford trying to get Marvin Jones one on one, and when Riddick was out the Redzone D tightened up against Staff.

Like Forte, Marshall had a lot of hope but the Jets were a trainwreck this season. The media got to them after they struggled against 4 Playoff teams in a row, and Bowles started changing up the QB situation and everything was thrown off after that.

screen-shot-2016-09-08-at-11-42-24-am

TE

The TE program was really built around Julius Thomas/Martellus Bennett/Eric Ebron.

Julius Thomas seemed like he was playing the entire season injured.

Martellus Bennett never was consistent enough to trust but still put up Top 7 TE Numbers.

Eric Ebron became very inconsistent down the stretch run of the season and played injured nearly the entire year.

Jimmy Graham was an option for some, like TEAM BEAST DOME. Finished #3. In the end, the TE position was inconsistent this season. Even Gronk was a BUST Pick if any Expert Site directed you to drafting him. Greg Olsen was inconsistent despite the 1000 Yard Season.

D/ST

Misses and hits. The Giants D was a great call, and the Jags/Lions were two underdog defenses that actually played playoff worthy football.

OVERALL

When you look at some of the HIGHLIGHTS of the past seasons I have Predicted.

2013. Peyton Manning career year.

2014. BEAST BROTHERS. Marshawn Lynch + Arian Foster

2015. Brandon Marshall when everyone thought he was done.

2016.

Matt Ryan and Matt Stafford was a solid QB Strategy.

LeSean McCoy highest rated is a good prediction, but I have already called him back from the grave in the Chip Kelly days.

Terrelle Pryor is a cool prediction and he will be a Top 10 WR consistently in Fantasy Football before his career is over.

Then when you really think about it. What is the best prediction from any expert this season?

QB

Top 3 QBs this season stat wise.

Aaron Rodgers (Top 3 QB Drafted)
Drew Brees (Top 5 QB Drafted)

MATT RYAN (Top 15 QB Drafted)

RB

Top 5 RBs this season stat wise.

David Johnson (1st/2nd Round)
Zeke Elliot (1st/2nd Round)
Le’Veon Bell (1st/2nd Round)

Lesean McCoy (3rd/4th Round)
DeMarco Murray (4th Round)

Frank Gore #11 RB
Latavius Murray #12 RB (Missed 2 Games)

Based on all this data. Looks like Matt Ryan was the Key Pick for BEAST DOME, and in the end. He was a difference maker in winning your league. If he wins MVP, which is possible. This pick will be a great pick to celebrate 2016.

Once again ahead of the Fantasy Football Curve, and I intend to keep the momentum rolling that way. Matt Forte sure made things easy for a lot of us heading into Sunday, lets keep it rolling.

THE MUNTRADAMUS SHOW WEEK 2

BUST OF THE WEEK

SPENCER WARE @ HOU

FANTASYPROS EXPERT RANK: #9 RB

MUNTRADAMUS PREDICTION. 65 Total Yards/0 TD

Ware do you think you’re going starting Spencer in Week 2 against the Texans Defense. In HOUSTON

J.J. BEAST is playing at a dominant level, and Clowney is looking Mercilles coming off the edge. All this with Vince Big Daddy Wilfork clogging the middle of the field and the Chiefs missing both of their guards. I got news for you Spencer Ware Fantasy Owners, if you do not trade him before Sunday while he still has Top 20 RB value, you are looking at an asset that will lose nearly all value over the course of one Football Game.

Playing against the Texans Defense in Houston is a lot different than playing than Chargers, at home.

FantasyPros Experts still have trust in the Week 1 Star. I am saying to Sell Now and don’t even think about starting him in Week 2.

56 Total Yards. 0 TD and a Loss for your Fantasy Team.

BEAST OF THE WEEK

MOHAMED SANU @ OAK

FANTASYPROS EXPERT RANK: #42 WR

MUNTRADAMUS PREDICTION. 8/117/1 TD

WHERE WERE YOU when Mohamed Sanu got his TD against the Bucs.

Let me guess, last week you did not start Sanu who ended up with a TD and a 2. Point conversion to go along with 5 receptions and 80  Yards.

Going up against a Raiders Defense that is playing softer zone D than Pau Gasol. We should see the rising BEAST DOME Legend continue to be a Fantasy Threat and a Rock Solid WR#2 who is seeing little coverage and zero respect from NFL Defenses, and Fantasy Experts. Matt Ryan is putting throws on the money, Sanu is finding the soft spot of zones. Julio Jones is always the man to steal the show when opposing defenses go up against the Falcons, Sanu owners are loving every second of it.

If you do not roll with Sanu in Week 2.

Fool me once, Shame on you.

Fool me twice, You cannot be fooled again.

I am not trying to sound like a salesman. Now is the time to draft in these Sheep Leagues. You may think, what if injuries, what if players don’t sign. Year after year, players that I rank this time of the year start getting drafted much earlier than anticipated.

SSS – 2014 with his breakout preseason.

Ivory – 2015 with his breakout preseason.

Are only two very small examples, but the first two that came to my head. You will see how I BEASTED this draft with my eyes closed. You will see that if you draft a team today, you will be so confident that nothing can shake you on the outside world.

1st ROUND (#8 Pick/12 Teams)

ADRIAN PETERSON – MIN

With the #8 Overall Pick, I landed a RB who could easily rush for over 2,000 Yards. The Vikings Offense is primed for a BEAST season with the addition of MEGAQON aka Laqon Treadwell. With teams giving respect to the passing game, and the Vikings returning to a Dome. Adrian Peterson is going to be running as vicious as ever, especially after his offseason work out plan where he stated he wants to be running for over 1,000 Yards when he’s 35. At 31 Years Old, Adrian Peterson will be running like he is 28.

2nd ROUND

GOLDEN TATE – DET

In a PPR League. Golden Tate is going to be ridiculous. Remember the Lions do plan on throwing the ball to run the ball. While they have not stated that publicly, you can guarantee Abdullah nor Riddick take over 15 carries in a game. Combined they might do 25. Golden Tate will be catching 2-4 passes a quarter, easily. It is not impossible to see over 120 Receptions from Golden Tate.

DO NOT BE LATE DRAFTING GOLDEN TATE

*UPDATE. The addition of Anquan Boldin only makes the Lions Passing game so much more dominant. Golden Tate will never be double teamed, as well as always going up against the opposing teams top corner. He will be unguardable.

3rd ROUND – 6th ROUND

*PRESEASON BEAST*

Screen Shot 2016-07-15 at 1.38.54 PM

7th ROUND

MOHAMED SANU – ATL

Ya it might have been a round or two early, but at this point I know I have my dream team in the making and it would be a dagger in my heart if Sanu did not make his way back to me as the draft was heading the other direction. All it takes is one Mohamed Sanu TD this preseason to make him someone that will be drafted earlier than this pick. The NFFC Draft Board had him pretty high in regards to the other talent on the board. If there was anyone from Atlanta in that Draft Room, I felt he would have been gone.

9th ROUND

MATT STAFFORD – DET

There was still Blake Bortles/Phillip Rivers/Eli Manning/Derek Carr on the board. The chances of Stafford coming back to me was almost automatic. However, the turn of the draft was heading in the other direction. I already have my dream team at this point, I cannot afford to lose on Matt Stafford and his 50+ Passing Attempts every game. The Lions are going to run the ball to throw the ball, and Stafford will be a TD Machine who could easily surpass 5,000 Yards. No Megatron means it is time for Stafford to drive the Lions offense the way he wants.

*UPDATE. The addition of Anquan Boldin gives Matt Stafford so many weapons, he will have too many mismatches to choose from everytime he throws the football. 5,000+ Yards seems almost automatic for a Lions team that will throw the ball non-stop.

14th ROUND

MATT RYAN – ATL

While I do see other QBs on the board who usually get drafted before Ryan, like Tony Romo. I really want Matty Ice who is capable of putting up one his best seasons with all the addition of Alex Mack. You cannot underestimate a Center in Football as they are the QBs of the offensive Line. When the Offensive Line is giving Matt Ryan time to throw, the Falcons offense is going to be a thing of beauty. Between Matt Ryan and Matt Stafford on my team, I now can be in a Dome all 17 Weeks of the season.

The QB Position

You can take Luck out of the equation and always go with an ELITE like Aaron Rodgers with a healthy Jordy Nelson or by taking Cam Newton who has a healthy Kelvin Benjamin. Going with either guy will cost yourself a 2nd/3rd Round Draft Pick. I have a better strategy.

For the first time in BEAST DOME History. I am telling you to not worry about the Quarter Back Position and fill out your roster. When the time comes, you will be able to snag two stars for bottom of the barrel draft picks.

My QBs   of 2016 are…

#1 Matt Stafford

Before you say, I don’t want to mess with that again. Stafford finished the last 8 games of 2016 going 6-2 with 20 Touchdowns and 2 INTs. The change to Jim Bob Cooter lit the Lions offense on fire to close out the season. The Lions did not make a change at the Offensive Line Position, and the Running Game is as weak as ever now that Joique Bell is gone. Ameer Abdullah and Theo Riddick who both are at their best when they are catching passes in the open field. Neither can take too many carries without the risk of injury.

The best part about Stafford is the fact the Lions throw the ball to run the ball. Golden Tate should get 5+ Bubble screens a game, and Stafford will bootleg a lot to pick up short yards in the quick passing game.

Last season the Lions faced Minnesota/Denver/Seattle/Arizona 4 weeks in a row to start the season. In 2016 they have one of the most cupcake schedules in the NFL. Lions only have 3 games that are away from a Dome, and 2 of them happen within the first 4 games of the season.

Screen Shot 2016-06-17 at 9.03.42 PM

You can argue that Calvin Johnson no longer being there makes the Lions a worst team. However during that span of Stafford going off for 20 TD/2 INT in the final 8 games. Calvin Johnson went over the 100 Yard Mark during that span only once with 6 Touchdowns.

The Lions got much more athletic with Marvin Jones who can stretch the field and really go up for passes, along with Andre Roberts who is a very talented vertical threat. Most of the heavy lifting will be done by Eric Ebron and Golden Tate, but the Lions are loaded with playmakers in the passing game who can take a 5 yard pass and turn it into a 20 yard gain. The pass attempts will be there for Stafford all season, especially in the Red Zone.

#2 MATT RYAN

The Falcons were plagued with Offensive Coordinator  Kyle Shanahan doing a horrible job running the Falcons offense in 2015. It is one thing to stop using Roddy White, it is an entirely different thing to not do anything to replace him.

So this season Roddy White is no longer there, and in comes Mohamaed You Sanuze You Lose. Sanu is a very talented WR who can make big plays down the field and should be an excellent compliment to Julio Jones who is arguably the best WR in the game today. Julio is still at his peak, and as long as Matt Ryan takes his shots at Julio, Matt Ryan will end up with good numbers.

The X-Factor that is really going to help the Falcons is the addition of Alex Mack. Mack was the Center with Kyle Shanahan in Cleveland, and him coming over to Atlanta to man handle the offensive line will allow Matt Ryan to concentrate more on picking opponents secondaries apart.

Screen Shot 2016-06-17 at 9.15.02 PM

The Falcons schedule is an interesting one, but it goes very well with Stafford’s. Falcons play @Philly for Stafford’s Bye Week is big, and the start of the season should be a Boom for Ryan and the Falcons offense which includes a Monday Night Football Game in New Orleans. If you play it right between the two, you could be in a Dome all 17 Weeks of the season.

The Fantasy Playoffs can easily setup Stafford @Home against the Bears on Week 14. Ryan @Home against the Chip Kelly and the 49ers on Week 15. Then you can let Stafford take the Championship home for you on Monday Night Football Week 16 in Dallas, a Stadium which almost guarantees a 400+ Yard Performance as he always tears up his home state Cowboys.

In the end, you can build an unstoppable team this season in Fantasy Football while getting 2 QBs who play on teams that are constantly in a Dome. They are on teams that are known for their passing games, and two QB’s who could easily be considered on Talent alone Top 10 no questions asked. Matt Ryan is currently Ranked the #18 QB on FantasyPros, Stafford at #19. Two Quarterbacks who should throw for over 4,500 Yards and 30+ TDs no questions asked.
