THURSDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

BEAST vs. SHEEP (WEEK 1)

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

We are back with Season 3 of Thursday Night Lights. The Thursday Night one spot destination.

2015 Record: 13-3

2016 Record: 12-4

Week 1 we have a BEAST DOME home opener. Rob Gronkowski is on just about everyone BEAST MVP’s team. He is the cornerstone of the Draft Guide and was well worth the late 1st Round Pick that all sheep would just laugh at. No! DRAFT GURLEY says the clown.

Another cornerstone of the BEAST DOME DRAFT GUIDE this year is Tom Brady. Brady is on just about everyone’s team, if they do not have Brady they have another Superstar + Gronk.

So while all the sheep say wait on your QB.. Gronk is NOT a MUST DRAFT.. joke is on you. All that will be on full display in about 24 Hours.

The New England Patriots is about to put up a Historic Season that is on tap to another level. We have seen Chip Kelly run his Oregon No Huddle in the offense to the ground. This New England No Huddle is faster than anything you have ever seen. In fact as long as you have been reading this article, the Patriots have already drove the length of the field for a Touchdown.

The Kansas City Chiefs..Like they have any chance at stopping the Patriots on ring night? Who are you kidding. This game is going to be comparable to pee-wee football vs The Super Bowl Champions.

The Chiefs have no offensive talent outside of Travis Kelce. The two biggest Sheep plays of the year, Tyreke Hill and Kareem Hunt are as basic as it gets. Both were as high as 3rd Round Picks in just about every fantasy league. Round 5 very latest for both, which is still way too early.

Tyreke Hill has speed, but Malcolm Butler and Stephon Gillmore will just push him into the ground the second he tries to release.

Kareem Hunt is the Allen Iverson of the NFL. Listed at 5’11/201. Kareem Hunt is more like 5’8/175 MAX. David Harris and Dont’a Hightower are going to drive him into the ground so hard you are going to be grateful you are not a NFL Player.

Travis Kelce will be nice in garbage time. In fact, Tyreke might just get decent numbers because of those quick screens when the game is over as well.

On the flip side.

Tom Brady has already scored 4 Touchdowns since you started reading this article.

That is the type of season this New England Offense is going to be. Their secondary is filled with Pro Bowl Talent.

SUPER BOWL LII CHAMPIONS

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

WEEK 1:

Patriots 41

Kansas City 13

For those who say, what about the KC Pass Rush. Ya see what happens when you leave one of those RBs in space with the quick pass. The aggressive pass rush will allow Brady to put up Monster numbers throwing the ball less than 5 yards and watching Dion Lewis/James White or whoever they have back there taking the ball another 35 yards after the catch. Or how about Gronk 1 on 1.

What makes Gronk so beautiful besides being a monstorous BEAST, is his ability to be unguardable 1 on 1. If he has the ball in space 1 on 1, he will break that tackle and be a Robo Gronk running down the field that is too big to take down.

Going to be a historic season for Gronk as the consistent #1 option for Brady, in a historic Patriots season.

2016 FANTASY FOOTBALL SEASON BEAST DOME RECAP

2016 FANTASY FOOTBALL SEASON

BEAST DOME RECAP

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

If your league is still alive in the Fantasy Football world. The one and only Waiver Wire claim is of course De’Angelo Williams. If your league is still alive, post below any Waiver Wire questions. Keep in mind that it is Week 17, and figuring out the best sleepers for D/ST and potential at WR or RB would have to be determined later in the week as we hear news of about players that are injured, and players that are sitting because their team is done.

BEAST HEDGE 2016 TESTIMONIAL

JASON D.

screen-shot-2016-12-28-at-3-57-06-amscreen-shot-2016-12-28-at-4-03-23-am

HERE IS THE 2016 BEAST DOME FANTASY FOOTBALL RECAP

The heart and soul of BEAST DOME this season was supposed to be Adrian Peterson.

That obviously did not work out Adrian Peterson went down in Week 2. While for many that would be the crushing blow and the end of your season to lose your #1 Pick. Many of the VIPs not only made the Playoffs, but some went on to win their championship.

A big reason they were able to win their Championship this season is because of the QB Strategy that no other Fantasy Football Website can compete with in 2016.

The Prediction held true as Stafford and Ryan were Top 5 QBs for a majority of the season. Unfortunately for both players, Matt Ryan lost Julio Jones towards the stretch run of the season. Matt Stafford lost Theo Riddick. Two players that really were difference makers for the entire offense.

Regardless the Sleepers at each Position were BEAST. Now for a recap of each position.

QB

Everything explained above. Even if you were not a VIP, you probably had Stafford or Matt Ryan on your team. Some VIPs had Carr or Bortles, but in the end Ryan and Stafford were on those squads.

Thoughts on Bortles. The Jaguars offense was described as a black porsche driving down the Freeway at Top speed during the preseason. During the regular season the Jaguars could not look more off. It will be interesting to see how the Jaguars pull everything together next season, but you have to imagine if the right moves are made during the offseason, they can be the dangerous team we expected them to be, in 2017.

RB

Adrian Peterson went down. Second year in a row the BEAST DOME #1 overall goes down, Marshawn Lynch last season. The reason why a lot of you survived Adrian Peterson was because of the emphasis of drafting Sleeper RBs.

screen-shot-2016-12-28-at-3-33-32-amMatt Forte and LeSean McCoy were vital parts of the Draft Strategy.

Latavius Murray ended up on just about everyone’s roster, and when the going got tough. I told you that Latavius’ Carries matter and he should be acquired in all leagues.

J-Stew had his clutch moments, Frank Gore was rock solid, DeMarco Murray started to fade.

Only players who were RB targets that really hurt were Matt Jones and Jeremy Langford. Both lost jobs when they got injured.

In the end, the RB collection should have been enough for every squad.

Round 4-6

 WR

WR was an interesting position this year for BEAST DOME.

There were some legendary picks like Terrelle Pryor, and Kenny Britt was also nice for a diamond in the rough.

However the picks that really made a difference were the Emmanuel Sanders/Michael Crabtree/Mike Wallace.

Did a good job calling a lot of Busts at WR, even if I did miss on Jordy.

Golden Tate will end up with his 1,000 Yard season, but those numbers definitely were not what we expected. Less than 5 TD is unacceptable, and the only reason it happened is because the Lions did not run enough screen passes for Tate in the Redzone. Instead they relied on Stafford trying to get Marvin Jones one on one, and when Riddick was out the Redzone D tightened up against Staff.

Like Forte, Marshall had a lot of hope but the Jets were a trainwreck this season. The media got to them after they struggled against 4 Playoff teams in a row, and Bowles started changing up the QB situation and everything was thrown off after that.

screen-shot-2016-09-08-at-11-42-24-am

TE

The TE program was really built around Julius Thomas/Martellus Bennett/Eric Ebron.

Julius Thomas seemed like he was playing the entire season injured.

Martellus Bennett never was consistent enough to trust but still put up Top 7 TE Numbers.

Eric Ebron became very inconsistent down the stretch run of the season and played injured nearly the entire year.

Jimmy Graham was an option for some, like TEAM BEAST DOME. Finished #3. In the end, the TE position was inconsistent this season. Even Gronk was a BUST Pick if any Expert Site directed you to drafting him. Greg Olsen was inconsistent despite the 1000 Yard Season.

D/ST

Misses and hits. The Giants D was a great call, and the Jags/Lions were two underdog defenses that actually played playoff worthy football.

screen-shot-2016-09-08-at-11-42-50-am

OVERALL

When you look at some of the HIGHLIGHTS of the past seasons I have Predicted.

2013. Peyton Manning career year.

2014. BEAST BROTHERS. Marshawn Lynch + Arian Foster

2015. Brandon Marshall when everyone thought he was done.

2016.

Matt Ryan and Matt Stafford was a solid QB Strategy.

LeSean McCoy highest rated is a good prediction, but I have already called him back from the grave in the Chip Kelly days.

Terrelle Pryor is a cool prediction and he will be a Top 10 WR consistently in Fantasy Football before his career is over.

Then when you really think about it. What is the best prediction from any expert this season?

QB

Top 3 QBs this season stat wise.

Aaron Rodgers (Top 3 QB Drafted)
Drew Brees (Top 5 QB Drafted)

MATT RYAN (Top 15 QB Drafted)

RB

Top 5 RBs this season stat wise.

David Johnson (1st/2nd Round)
Zeke Elliot (1st/2nd Round)
Le’Veon Bell (1st/2nd Round)

Lesean McCoy (3rd/4th Round)
DeMarco Murray (4th Round)

Frank Gore #11 RB
Latavius Murray #12 RB (Missed 2 Games)

Based on all this data. Looks like Matt Ryan was the Key Pick for BEAST DOME, and in the end. He was a difference maker in winning your league. If he wins MVP, which is possible. This pick will be a great pick to celebrate 2016.

FANTASY FOOTBALL THURSDAY NIGHT LIGHTS: THE CHIP SYSTEM WEEK 5

FANTASY FOOTBALL

THURSDAY NIGHT LIGHTS:

THE CHIP SYSTEM WEEK 5

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

The Chip Kelly offense has always been an entertaining topic to talk about, which usually ends with “That system does not work in the NFL.” We saw Mark Sanchez run it like a pro. We have seen Sam Bradford and Nick Foles run it to the ground.

Regardless of what we have seen or not seen over the weird Eagles days.

We now see a QB who used to be a mockery in the league, now into a semi attractive Fantasy Option. Blaine Gabbert is not a great QB. He can make some throws yes, but he can also be more inconsistent than you would want him to be. What he can do..he can run. Not very quick, but Blaine Gabbert has attempted 29 attempts in 4 games. Cam Newton, 29 Rushing attempts this season.

So what am I getting at with all of this?

The 49ers offense actually looks decent for the talent they have.

Gregg Popovich runs the Spurs system to a T. Mike Shanahan produced 1,000+ Rushing Yard RBs to a T. And Chip does not belong in this conversation. He belongs in a conversation with Mike D’Antoni who runs runs and runs. Not saying Gabbert is a good Fantasy QB, but you know what you are getting with him as far as a QB who can run the ball. Now if Kaepernick was playing, things would be exciting. But he will not.

The Cardinals are coming off of a very disappointing loss to the Rams. The team is 1-3 and losing games they really should be winning. Going up against the 49ers seems automatic, however with Carson Palmer not playing on Thursday Night the Cardinals are going to rely on Drew Stanton, who is not very accurate. The guy can throw a deep ball, but what is a deep ball going to do on a semi-windy night in San Francisco. On the eave of a Huge GIANTS win against the Mets, a Golden State Warrior blowout against the Clippers, and now the Triple Crown. A Thursday Night Football Win against the Cardinals is within reach.

Arizona will have to plug David Johnson 30+ Times against the 49ers Front 7 who just lost Navorro Bowman. You would think that sounds easy, but you know the team is going to rally and bring out another level of Loading the Box to do their best, on national TV. Which means Drew Stanton has to throw the ball, which is good for Larry Fitzgerald, bad for John Brown. Stanton and Brown is going to be all or nothing on one deep ball. If I was a betting man, I would bet against it just because Stanton is really not that good, and John Brown is pretty small. Brown can outrun the secondary, but he cannot go up and get it.

49ers Defense is going to have a nice game. Setting up Blaine Gabbert to do his HB/option read with Carlos Hyde. If it is not there he will toss it to Celek or maybe catch everyone sleeping and hit Torrey Smith deep. Both Smith and Kerley are the Top Dogs for the 49ers but whoever Patrick Peterson is guarding, that player will not receive any targets. Blaine and Hyde are going to control the clock. Drew Stanton reveals the worst fears of this Cardinals offense and turns into an INT Machine.

With that being said. I would never throw money on Blaine Gabbert in my life, and neither should you. Just watch this game out of pure entertainment, or not since there are only a few key Fantasy Players in this matchup. Or take the under 42.5.

BEAST DOME NATION.

Nothing feels better than being 1-0. With that being said, even if you are 0-1 your season is not close to over and have plenty of time to get that good feeling about your squad.

The #79 Ranks my current Rank on a National Level. It is only Week 1, but 1st Place makes $100K.

Heading into Week 2, I, like nearly all Preseason BEAST Members are holding onto a very comfortable lead thanks to Matt Forte. We can almost go on cruise control this Sunday as we enjoy all the points to bounce off of our star RB.

screen-shot-2016-09-18-at-3-59-28-am screen-shot-2016-09-18-at-4-01-09-am
In the last Team BEAST DOME, I featured Matt Forte as the guy everyone needs to relax about and let him do his magic. Right now, we are all loving life because of it.

THIS WEEK FEATURED BEAST

JIMMY GRAHAM

Chills run up and down your spine if you are a Loyal BEAST DOME member who is back after a year of Silence of the Graham. The horror film was a nightmare. An Ex- Fantasy Football BEAST TE who was arguably one of the best in the history of the Fantasy Football. Gets traded and ends up blocking nearly every snap. Just when Graham started to gain momentum and looked like a potential 900 Yard Candidate, he tore his Patella Tender.

2016 is a new chapter. The Seahawks no longer have the running game they had in the past with Rawls less than 100% and no more Marshawn Lynch. The Hawks are going to need to win games on the arm of Russell Wilson more and more, especially with his latest ankle injury. If the Hawks are going to get things going with their passing game, Jimmy Graham is going to need to step it up to another level.

Week 2 against the Rams is a great matchup for the Hawks to figure out a way to get Jimmy Graham a TD and a lot of confidence as we gear up towards the last 4 months of the season. Graham is healthy and ready to go, Russell Wilson wants to see it happen.
