FANTASY FOOTBALL WAIVER WIRE WEEK 7
THE CHRONICLES OF JOIQUE & RIDDICK
(JOIQUE BELL/THEO RIDDICK)
BEAST DOME NATION.
A problem that no VIP this preseason has is RB Depth. A problem that no VIP preseason has is stars at WR. A problem that no VIP preseason has is a BEAST QB and TE.
Finally all the BEAST DOME stars broke out in a big way in Week 6, and it is time to snatch the Waiver Wire steal(s) of the season while everyone has their head buried in the sand riding the going all in play on Charmander West last week, when I called Bust from the first second.
Maybe it was going all in on Matt Jones?
The Detroit Lions Running game resembles those pee wee football teams that come out at halftime and everyone runs really slow and goes down very easily. Ameer Abdullah has officially fumbled away the RB job with a crucial fumble last week setting up a Lions Punt when all the momentum was falling from that team. He has fumbled 4 times already this season, including 3 in the last two weeks.
When Joique Bell returns, Zach Zenner is now done for the year with broken ribs and a collapsed lung, the job is his. Joique practiced in full all of last week and was expected to be activated. He will be the BEAST back for the Lions and take at least 12+ Carries a game, plus goal line work.
Theo Riddick is the poor man’s Reggie Bush. He outperformed Reggie last year when they were both healthy, and he continues to be unguardable coming out of the backfield. He will be the 3rd down back as well as mix in with Joique at 1st and 2nd down. He should easily see 15+ touches a game when you include receptions. He could easily lead all RB’s in receptions before the season is over, he already sits in 1st place in that category.
JOIQUE BELL MUST ADD
THEO RIDDICK MUST ADD
The Lions offense is really starting to roll and out of the 10 games remaining in their schedule. 9 are in a Dome, the one non-Dome game is against the Green Bay Packers in November.
As far as Ameer Abdullah goes. I will just say I told you so, and if you think Montee Ball had fumbling problems, this guy would have never had the opportunity to run the ball in Denver again. I am sure the other Fantasy Experts are not taking the HEAT.
