RANKINGS W/FULL ANALYSIS

QUESTION OF THE WEEK

It has been a pleasure helping everyone with their Fantasy Leagues, Seasonal and Daily.  Soon I find out my Rankings within the Experts, which is the last Week of the Expert Competition.

WEEK 17 WAIVER WIRE ADDS

JACKIE BATTLE – RB – SD

Who would of thought that by Week 17, Jackie Battle could be a potential MVP for Fantasy Football owners this week.  If Jackie is on the wire, grab him as he is the lead RB for the Chargers as they prepare for a season finale in San Diego.  The opponent you ask?  How about the worst team in the NFL who may be starting Matt Leinart next week, the Oakland Raiders.

RYAN GRANT – RB – GB

While it is possible Alex Green does return in Week 17, Ryan Grant may have done enough to be the Packers starting RB the R.O.S. and Playoffs.  Dujuan Harris is my pick for the best RB on that team, but the Packers are a traditional football team.  Traditional Football teams rely on veterans, especially ones that have had a storied past with them.

Ryan Grant is Must-Own.

RUSSELL WILSON – QB – SEA

In just about every waiver wire article in the second half of the season, Russell Wilson was a recommended Fantasy add.  Shortly after he was a QB that recommended as a Top 20 QB every week.  Going into the Big Championship against a Rams defense that can definitely be broken.  Russell is a possible Top 10 candidate.

MONTARIO HARDESTY – RB – CLE

This is a player to keep an eye on.  If Trent Richardson does not play Week 17, which is very likely.  Montario is a possible 80 Total Yards + TD candidate against a Steelers defense that does not shut down teams the way they used to.  Montario has shown he can take 30 carries in a game, which is possible this week.

BRIAN HARTLINE – WR – MIA

How could you be so Hartless?  Hartline was recommended all the way back in Week 2 as a Fantasy add.  Thanks to inconsistent QB play, he has fallen on the Waiver wire in most leagues.  With Davone Bess not 100% or practicing last week.  Hartline could be looking at a dream matchup in garbage time against a Patriots defense.  He could potentially clip the 100 Yard mark in Week 17.

CHAD HENNE – QB – JAX

Take away the legs of Russell Wilson.  Add the arm of Tom Brady, then realize you are starting Chad Henne.  Chad is a good breakout candidate who needs this solid week against a weak Titans Secondary to secure the starting QB job for 2013.  Unless Tebow goes to Jacksonville next season, which is likely, which could cause a similar drama to what happened in NY.

MASON CROSBY – K – GB

Kick me with your best shot.  After easily being the best pick of the week at the Kicker spot of any expert having Crosby as a Top 5 option for Week 16.  He is going to be right back in that position kicking in-doors against the Minnesota Vikings.  Who should have enough problems slowing down Rodgers.

BILLS – D/ST – BUF

We have made it Full circle.  The Bills were recommended as a defense that has the best second half schedule.  Things quickly turned south for the unit as injuries to their defensive line, and other teams just getting much better before those matchups occurred.  Miami in Week 16, and Seattle Week 15 are two perfect examples of matchups that looked good on paper earlier this season.

Now they face off against a Jets team who is in complete shambles.  Word is Michael Vick will QB for them next season potentially, they may even go back to Mark Sanchez.  Either way, this team is a mess and the Bills will look to close out 2012 strong in front of their home crowd.
