SELL

QB

MICHAEL VICK – QB – PHI

Vick is as electric as it gets.  Fantasy owners know this, which means it is time to capitalize and get a supertstar player in return.  Vick has top 5 QB potential any given Sunday, but he also has potential to be sitting on the sidelines in street clothes as he suffers from broken ribs.  Vick is not going to last this long and you can get a star talent like DeMarco Murray at RB instead.  You can probably aim higher and get a big time RB like Reggie Bush.

RB

ALFRED MORRIS – RB – WAS

Morris is looking good so far this season except for one thing, he continues to put the ball on the ground.  Coach Shanahan who is notorious for switching his RBs is not pulling any stunts now.  But how much longer these fumble problems will last could cause a huge problem for Morris in the future.  While Alfred is getting these 100 Yard games, now is a good time to sell him and get a Top 10 RB quality player like DeMarco Murray.  You may possibly be able to get CJ Spiller which would be a huge upgrade.

WR

DEMARIYUS THOMAS – WR – DEN

D- Thom is likely a WR who can get a TD every game.  The only problem is, so can that entire team.  With the emergence of Julius Thomas, D-Thom is now seeing less targets and less opportunites for those monster performances.  Take away that screen pass 70+ Yard TD on Thursday Night Football, and he would be a Buy Low player.   Now he is a Sell High since he still has Top 5 Value that will not last all season long.

TE

TONY GONZALEZ – TE – ATL

This season the TE position is as deep as ever.  Which means it is time to trade away Tony Gonzalez while he still has Faux TE #3 value.  I can name 10 TEs off the top of my head who can out produce the aging veteran any given week.  Trade Tony away while his name carries value.

  1. I’m thinking of offering Chris Johnson, Torrey Smith and Mike Williams/T.Y. Hilton for Steven Jackson and Randall Cobb. Thoughts?
    My roster is:
    Stafford, Rivers
    Charles, Morris, Johnson, Le’Veon Bell
Julio Jones, Smith, Mike Williams, Hilton, Royal
    Gronkowski, Eifert

    His is:
    Manning, Dalton
    Lynch, Jackson, DeAngelo Williams, Hillman
    Cobb, Colston, Welker, Wallace, Boldin,
    Julius Thomas, Olsen

  2. Too bad about Washington Redskins so far this year.

@Thomas: SJAX injured for 2 weeks, so be aware that your RB pts may suffer at first.

Which side do you prefer in this trade proposal?
    (.25 per catch league)

    Dez Bryant
    Darren Sproles
    Dallas

    for

    DeMarco Murray
    Rob Gronkowski

  3. @Thomas – Bad trade on your end, imo. If you read the article Munt posted, you’d be better off trading Morris while his value is still high. Chris Johnson is a solid RB2 with a high ceiling for the break away runs he’ll get here and there. Why would you want to trade him for a running back you can’t even play? I’d trade Morris for Cobb straight up. *Maybe* tack on Mike Williams if the deal needs to be sweetened.

  4. @Thomas – Bad trade on your end, imo. If you read the article Munt posted, you’d be better off trading Morris while his value is still high. Chris Johnson is a solid RB2 with a high ceiling for the break away runs he’ll get here and there. Why would you want to trade him for a running back you can’t even play for the next 2-4 weeks? I’d trade Morris for Cobb straight up, and I bet he’ll accept because he’s weak at RB and strong at WR. *Maybe* tack on Mike Williams if the deal needs to be sweetened.

  5. The best trade for you is Morris/Smith/Williams for SJax/Welker/Boldin. Swap out Williams for TY or Royal if that’ll make him take it. An upgrade at every player for you if you can ride out SJax’s injury.

  6. No one in my league wants Vick lol… not even with a straight QB trade…

have Vick and Freeman (I guess they are leveraging this)

  7. A straight quarterback trade for Vick would be absurd unless you have a top 12 quality filler on your bench. Kudos to everyone in your league for being smart. If Vick gets injured you’re screwed if you don’t have a top caliber replacement. No one with the top 5 quarterbacks would ever make that trade period if they’re smart. The top 5-7 would be extremely risky. I might be willing to trade someone like Romo or Luck for Vick… again… *if* I had a good backup. You won’t get quarterback value in a straight up trade for him. That’s why Munt suggests a Murray, a fringe RB1 that most still consider an RB2. An RB2 for Vick. That’s a trade more would accept.

  8. I am not even talking about the Drew brees of the world… i am talking about the Romo, Eli; those who hasn’t performed…

i am in a 12 men league where i hold 6 RBs right now… you tell me if anyone has any RBs left to trade for Vick at this point..

Romo’s owner is 0-2; and I’ll let him get to 0-3 before he panics… he has Cam as the other QB

  9. Should I trade Julius Thomas at some point for Giovani Bernard? I’m extremely thin at RB (Sjax, Trent, Starks, Helu) in a 14 team league, and like everyone else here have Gronk returning soon.

  10. I think Morris’ fumble issues will tighten up in the coming weeks, though I do acknowledge that Shanahan is about as flaky as they come with RBs. In a trade article last season Munt recommended trying to sell Morris high for someone like CJ2K. I made that trade, and while CJ won me two matchups, he disappeared for long stretches, particularly in the playoffs. Meanwhile my trade partner rode Morris (and AP) to the championship. I’ve been in the Dome for three years now and Munt has been a GURU (I also follow him for NBA Fantasy and won a Chip last season), so I tend to follow his lead on almost any move, but this is one where I respectfully disagree. I also HATE owning CJ, but he fell to me at the top of the 4th round so I had to bite. I’d ultimately like to get a RB back in any trade to keep my depth legitimate. A healthy SJax would be my RB2/Flex, which is pretty nasty. That’s my logic.

  11. Half point per reception league should I trade

Peyton manning, Stevie Johnson, and Ridley for
Collin kaepernick, Brandon Marshall, and sproles

  12. I would do this just because I’m not a big Chris Johnson fan, I think Steven Jackson will be a beast when he comes back and I think Cobb will be the best player involved in this trade

  13. If it isn’t a keeper league, hard to justify selling Manning. The trade looks fairly even though, as the .5 ppr aspect definitely inflates the value of Marshall and Sproles. If you’re inclined to do it, do it now before Kaep bounces back from that horrible Sunday.

  14. As for my own dilemma, I see the merit in trading Demaryius based on the potential Beast or famine nature of being a Broncos receiver. He is slotted as a keeper going forward for me, so trading him would have to reap some serious rewards, as well as not mitigate my chances of winning this year, while not making a competitor that much better. My RB2 situation is pathetic (pick from Mathews and Bradshaw) while I’m pretty stacked at WR – Thomas, D. Jackson and Fitz (with Givens and Blackmon waiting in the wings). Thoughts on offering Thomas for McFadden and J. Bell? Should I try to get more? This is a deal that I would do if I were him, but I don’t know if I should. His other RBS are Sproles, Gore and Mendy, and his WRs are Jordy, Torrey and S. Smith. The collective wisdom of the Nation would be much appreciated.

  15. What do you think about DeSean Jackson and Stevan Ridley for Reggie Bush?

Also, is Julius Thomas for Roddy White a fair deal?

  16. If you can GET Roddy White for Julius Thomas and have a solid TE to play, go for it – no question. Roddy will be back on top soon.

  17. Keep Desean Jax. Who are your RB’s?

If you can get Roddy for Julius, take that trade all day. Roddy will be back on top soon. Backup TE?

  18. i was just offered Brady for Julius Thomas + Miles Austin. take it? I’m dominating this 10 team league thanks to Beastdome and am weak at QB. Thanks for the insight.

    Lineup:
    Eli
    Jordy Nelson
    Desean Jax
    Josh Gordon
    Miles Austin
    Percy Harvin
    Jamaal Charles
    LeSean McCoy
    Demarco Murray
    Montee Ball
    Gronk
    Julius Thomas
    Jermichael Finley
    Josh Brown

  19. Hi Beast Nation

I’ve been trying to trade for Gronk for the past week and the owner has been trying to screw me other even though he needs help in the WR/RB department. Apparently now, he’s more willing to part with Gronk since Martellus blew the shit up.

My WR: Julio Jones, R. White, D. Bowe, J. Gordan, P. Harvin
My RB: L. McCoy, A. Bradshaw, D. Wilson, Montee
    My TE: Finley

His WR: C. Johnson, D. Moore, G. Jennings
His RB: Sproles, Miller, B. Brown
    His TE: Gronk, Martellus, Rodolph

I’m thinking of offering Julio Jones/ Bradshaw/Bowe for Johnson/Gronk/Bryce. Giving too much on my end?

  20. Eli with Nicks/Cruz etc… and a BAD Defense even with the picks should out score Brady EOS.
And Austin probably more like 20 with what we have ssen so far.

    NO DEAL IMO

  21. J Thomas for Roddy i would take allllll day.
And #10Mode Jackson will kill it again thursday then maybe you deal him for like a Nicks+ CJ2k/Murray kinda guy if desperate

  22. Try giving Spiller and TRich owners a shot to see if they’re still low on them. I think Demarco Murrray would be a perfect target for you

  23. Eli will be better than Brady this year, once Gronk is back you can get a lot more for Orange Julius.

  24. I think you can do better than Bernard. Shoot for Gore, his owners will be low as can be on him. If you can get Murray it would be ideal

  25. Should I trade reggie bush for anquan bold in straight up?
    I have qb eli/rivers
    Wr austin/Steve smith/edelman/dmoore
    Rb bush/Trent/Murray/forte/ball
    Te gronk/Thomas j/cook

He has Larry f/boldin/Tate/Peterson/Floyd m/mendenhall and steven jackson who is injured which is why i wanna trade him

  26. Is this a worthy (PPR) trade? A buddy wants to send me steve smith, ryan Mathews, and percy harvin for larry fitz and knowshown Moreno. Note: I have jamal Charles, mojo, ahmad bradwhaw, roy helu and vereen. At WR I have only v jax, tavon, josh Gordon and Justin Blackmon. thanks to all for any help

  27. If Trent Richardson couldn’t make the backfield situation work in Cleveland (just look at his numbers this season) what would make you think that McGahee would come in and put up starting fantasy numbers? Grab a quality handcuff before wasting a spot. Hoyer is not going to cause any teams to stop stacking the box and forcing the browns to pass the ball.

  28. RBs are already dropping like flies; You’ll need RB depth throughout the season. Bye weeks haven’t even hit yet and it’s better to have a starter on your bench than a time-share player.

  29. Just got more expensive to trade for T-Rich… was hoping he would suck after this week… alas… would still suck because it’s the 49ers… but more potential with the Colts > Browns

  30. Everybody will be Hyped on Trent now, even if he sucks against 49ers. Better QB, better WRs; Better team all around..you can’t key on him anymore.
He has a better long term situation. Luck will dump off to him all day. Wayne and Hilton take people out of the box now.

  31. it was hard to trade for T-Rich (1st round) after 2 weeks; now it’s almost not possible… unless a bad game or injury (which T-Rich is still pretty prone to)

  32. Yeah, I factored that in. I’d run with a shaky flex for a couple weeks. For your trade in question I think I’d rather be on the receiving end of Dez and Sproles. Lots of catches to be had. That said, Gronk is going to explode when he gets back, and Murray will have a great season if healthy. That’s a big if. I’d check the high reception numbers for those guys last few seasons and calculate the points to see what you’re really getting.

  33. had bradshaw but luckily picked up mcgahee before anyone else!

Any opinions between starting jgordon, rwhite, cgivens as W3 non-ppr

  34. Heard that..got him slotted..also picked up vikings D for this one..even better since Trich is gone

  35. Hey Beast Dome Nation, I could use your collective wisdom.

I dropped the NE Defense to pick up McGahee. Now I need some help figuring out who to trade and for what to open that roster spot back up for a new D.

    10 team PPR league.
    My Team:
WR’s: Marshall, Boldin, Wallace, Miles Austin, Josh Gordon, James Jones
RB’s: S-Jax, MJD, Trent Richardson, demarco, montee, Gio Bernard, McGahee
    TE: Gates
    QB: Stafford
    K: Gostkowski

I already had proposed Gio and James Jones for Gronk (Gronk’s owner was thinking it over). This afternoon I threw in McGahee and asked for Ridley too.

    You thoughts?

    Thanks Nation!

  36. Initial offer was very good, but I think you overreached by adding in McGahee for Ridley. Either way, you’re coming out on the good end if he bites.

  37. Gordon has a tough match with no Trich and Hoyer @ QB
    Roddy is hurt
    Givens has Dallas
Can i get a 4th choice ? but my gut says Givens or Gordon for the garbage time yards

  38. I would recommend to drop montee and go for vikings defense due to weeden being hurt and t-richs trade could be a big game for the viks def

  39. Listen, we cannot give up on montee.

    A. We are invested- the spot on your bench is worth his potential breakout.

    B. Moreno will get touches on Monday night football. But if Montee shines on the big state? This is the big moment we were waiting for. Give him a few more weeks. Moreno looked pretty good on his tds but it was more the giants playing so very poor.

    Thank You.

  40. You really don’t have much patience. Dropping your 5th round pick after two weeks and expecting to pick him back up when he has a big game. I’d love to be in a league with you…

  41. LOL… and assuming if you win rd 3 and go 3-0; if montee plays well… wave goodbye to #youngmontee…

  42. Feeling the Bradshaw value diminish to a handcuff. That being said, is a Joique Bell for Bradshaw a fair deal? I own Reggie Bush and the Joique owner also has T-Rich. Essentially, we’d be trading handcuffs. Thoughts?

  43. Just got an offer on Gio for J Nelson. My RB’s are Shady/Murray/Bush/Bradshaw/Gio WR’s Nicks/Quan/Gordon/Edelman/Hartline

I know not to short myself on RB’s, but I’m weak at WR.

    What say you, Beast Nation?

  44. I have Orange Julius, Jared Cook, and Gronk so its safe to say im stacked at RB. I’m trying to move one of them for some WR depth because at the moment my WRs are Miles Austin, Hakeem Nicks, Boldin, and Edelman in a 10 team league. I’m also trying to swing a deal to dump Reggie and get DeSean but I dont know who else to throw in and how much value Reggie has coming off so many injury concerns and DeSeans massive first 2 weeks.

If I can’t swing Roddy for Julius, what other WRs do you think would be good to target for either Cook or Julius?

Thanks for the advice, you guys rock!

  45. I dont know why your so down on CJ2K. He got 25 carries last week so you know theyre riding him hard. He was 2 yds shy of a 100 against Houston’s D which is known as stout against the run. He went against Pitt and Houston, not cupcakes. Give em time

  46. You are a bit weak at receiver.
But solid at RB. Especially with today’s trade.
    Primetime to sell Bush.
While Fitz is banged up, I’d target him. Bush and Edelman may work.
If not, offer up trades to people who are deep at WR.
Bush for a WR1 is a great move for your team in my opion.

  47. Bradshaw is no longer valuable unless you own Trich.
Even if you do Ball is more valuable in the long run.

  48. I’m thinking of trading Bernard or Jones-Drew for V. Jackson or D. Jackson. I’m really thin (almost criminally) at WR, and his RB situation is shaky at best. I’m more inclined to part with MJD because I think Gio has more upside playing on a better team behind a guy he’s clearly better than. What do you guys think my move is? Here’s the rosters…
    Me:
    Newton, Rivers
    Charles, R. Bush, Jones-Drew, J. Bell, Bernard
    S. Smith, M. Williams, Marlon Brown, Hopkins, Harvin
    Olsen, Gronk

    Him:
    Rodgers
Rice, D. Richardson, Ivory, Ingram, J. Rodgers
Bryant, V. Jackson, D. Jackson, Jennings, Cruz, J. Jones
    Witten, F. Davis

  49. I don’t think there’s any way he parts with Gronk and Calvin. If he will, then jump on that. Otherwise, I wouldn’t move Julio. He’s having a great year and only an injury is going to slow him down. He clearly likes TEs, so I might try something like Bowe/Wilson/Finley for Gronk/Brown/Rudolph. You get the best player overall and he gets upgraded at WR/RB and still maintains great TE depth.

  50. Shoot high and go for Dez or Cruz. You have him over a barrel at this point with his RB depth. Now isn’t the best time to unload MJD. His value took a hit with the Jags’ shaky offense and the tendon strain. His value will drop more this week with him either out or getting stuffed by the Seattle DST. Better to wait a week or two until he’s completely desperate. You can ride it out with your WRs for another week or two easily… Gio is easily the hotter fantasy name now, but I don’t think his trade value is at it’s peak yet either.

  51. You’d be surprised. SJax’s value is quite low right now, as is Boldin’s after the single catch outing last week. I was able to unload DJax for both SJax and Welker, which is bordering on criminal…

  52. No way you can trade Gio or MJD for either Crui or Dez… you would most likely have to put a gun on the owners’ head…

Gio is in a well known timeshare….
MJD looked slow in games and the FF production shows that…

Cruz had big week 1 and an ok week 2
Dez had a bad week 1 and a big week 2

  53. Of course not, which is why I suggested waiting trading him an RB until he’s even more desperate in a week or two. My point is what does he have to lose? Always aim high in a trade and work down from there. Sure, the end goal may be VJax, but if you start there, you’ve painted yourself into a corner. DJax’s value is higher than Dez and Cruz right now. Won’t be for ROS though.

  54. The clacking staff in Cleveland said Trent didn’t fit the scheme, I don’t think McGhee is going to light the league on fire or anything, but a starter with a solid o line is always worth a roster spot

  55. 1) Hoyer is not the starting QB, Weeden is. Unless your league’s championship game is week 3, of course…
    2) TRich saw a stacked box with Gordon out the first two games, so the Browns couldn’t stretch the field. When your TE is far and away your best vertical threat, the RB will always see a stacked box.
    3) A starting back has immediate value due to volume of touches. A handcuff RB is worthless unless the started gets hurt
    4) More importantly a a starting RB you pick up for free is an important trading chip as the season goes on. That is the best reason to pick up McGahee.

  56. Josh Gordon is on waivers and I have Ruben Randle. Would you drop Randle for Gordon ? I am a little worried about how bad CLE is?
    David

  57. Should I trade McGahee and Miles Austin for Roddy White?

My team (14 person STD play 2RB, 2WR, 1 FLEX)

    Romo
Rice, Murray, Pierce, Montee Ball, Dunbar and McGahee
    Marshall, Miles Austin, Kendall Wright
    Gronk, Fleener

    I need more WR depth.

  58. “able to unload DJax” The number 1 receiver in the league for an injured player and a guy who catches short yardage passes. I don’t get it. Why?

  59. there has to be other defenses your can get? i wouldnt drop a rookie back that they want to get the starting roll at some point for a defense.

  60. CapnCrunch, You need to start thinking long-term, not week to week.

DJax is electric and joined at the hip to Vick’s health. I’m willing to bet that Vick doesn’t make it the entire season.

DJax’s value won’t be higher than it is now. Peyton loves his slot guy, especially in the redzone. 10 points a game is the floor for Welker. When SJax comes back, I’ll have an extra stud RB to trade for a WR1 in the Julio/Marshall range while all other teams are hurting at RB. Most importantly, I was able to cripple the team I traded with at RB. He only has one serviceable option in Arian Foster.

So, DJax gets turned into Welker and another WR1. I also knocked one team out of the running for the season.

  61. if you dont need starks drop him, he will be good for 1 week as the work horse, then a time share more than likely, try to trade him to the lacy owner unless you own lacy. Ben tate is running good right now, 1 inury away, and you got a legit rb. Samething with shorts, if you need him keep him, henne better than gabbert..so shorts should heat up soon.

  62. Gordon. He the number 1 wr on the team than run and good size. he will see the targets..and in garabge time

  63. Im Happy for T Rich..his career wouldnt have been shorted with that horrble team. Hes gonna be more successful in that system..he has better weapons, blocking. I see what the browns are doing though…its a gamble. They have 2 first round picks and a couple more early round picsk. They want a qb..and maybe Mr Texas A&M will be there first pick next year. Willis provides good pass blcoking for norv turner down field offense..he can catch out of the backfield too. I assuming they think he will hold up long enough for them to fine a young rb to get it done.

  64. Christ that’s incredible.. Hoping I can pull off some form of trade rape like that at some point this season.

  65. I was thinking about trading R. Bush for A.J. Green straight up, good trade or would that make me too thin on RBs?

    My team:
    QB – Luck
RB – Lynch, Bush, Gore, Ball
WR – H. Nicks, Boldin, M. Austin, Edelman, and L. Moore
    TE – Gronk, J. Thomas, J. Cook

    His team:
    QB – Tony Romo
WR – C. Johnson, AJ Green, Larry Fitz, Mike Wallace, Justin Blackmon
RB – DeMarco Murray, Run DMC, D. Sproles, Isaiah Pead(?)
TE – Fred Davis, J. Gresh

  66. I like that trade, but I might throw in Lance Moore to see if you can get Pead, just to add some depth. Pead got a fair amount of snaps last week, so he could contribute as well.

  67. Thanks guys. Yeah, I know I’d be selling low on MJD. The hope would be that he gauges MJD on ROS rather than face value. I’m 0-2 so far, so I need to pull out a W here in the next couple weeks to stay competitive. That said, if by some chance banged up MJD scores some points on Seattle it’s a much easier sell.

  68. I think you’d be better off going Bush/JThomas/Edelman for DeMarco/Fitz. You have 3 stud TEs. Assuming you’re keeping Gronk, Thomas/Cook will never see your roster after this week. Sell JThomas now or right after the Oakland game. Wait til Cook has his next big game and try and package him and Gore for an RB upgrade.

  69. Agree… if you have a J.Graham or Gronk… you don’t need 2 TEs..

you only need 2, if you have a matchup play… like B. Myers and C. Clay

  70. question to make sure i am thinking this correct….i just got a trade offer…i get cam newton and give up j thomas (te) straight up…i’m thinking heck yes a steal…am i thinking wrong???…i have gronk on my bench waiting…if yes take the trade – do i pick up clay or myers for te that is left on my waiver wire untill gronk comes back….thanks

  71. Just got offered cjSpiller/fJackson/lFitzgerald for rBush/jBell/Megatron.
My other RB at this point is SJackson who’s injured. I only need to start 1 RB so I’m not freaking out, but the lack of depth at this point is a little scary given bush’s injury history…

    Thoughts?

  72. I wouldn’t trade Bush, you really only have four RB’s so far as Ball has done nothing to this point if you have some injuries you will be weak. There are a ton of good tight ends available and IMO you have too many, keep gronk and trade the other two for a quality WR. If Fleener is available on the waiver pick him up after the trade. Try to get Joique Bell to cover for Bush, he is currently the best handcuff in FF. IMHO

  73. Vick or Stafford tonight…munt has stafford as 14 and vick as 7. Overall experts have stafford higher. I don’t think either QB will be below top 10 but need max points of course. What do you think Nation???

  74. Bush/Bell are plug and play going from what RB-9 to RB-7 but a larger maybe WR-1/2 to WR-10 and don’t forget Fitz got pulled in the 4Q with hammy issues himself

  75. That is a hard one, I would go with Stafford and expect 25. I would go with Vick for possible 30, but expect 20 if KC slows them down.

  76. Thanks for the advice guys. Going with Stafford. Flowers is playing and the speed of KC D-Line makes me lean towards the easier match up. Honestly I think the deciding factor on who scores higher this week will be if Vick gets a rushing TD or not.

  77. Beast Dome Nation whaddya thinking:

MJD & David Wilson? I also had Fred Davis on that team…picked up C.Clay They are brutal! I am forced to either give it one more try or go with J.Rodgers and Danny Woodhead. Any thoughts?

I also have Roddy White still on the pine until I get the official word he is back to full strength.

  78. Not for now, wait and see. White will be a reliable every week stud long term, while Hopkins is only worthy when Johnson starts pulling his “Fred Taylor” imitation.

  79. my ultra fragile bench now consists of lamer miller, yesshawn, j. edelman and mcgahee. do you think that any of these guys represents longer term value or should i ship them?

  80. it is a good trade and it will leave you too thin at rb. i would take it for the value and then try to ship some combination of wr/te for another rb

  81. I’m curious as to what you fantasy pedigree is? You conveniently forgot to leave that out in your amusing diatribe. Careful throwing those stones around your little glass house, you may break something.

Why wait until next year to play for money? We can still sign up for leagues for this year. Come put your money where your mouth is Paulie. I’ll gladly be waiting, big boy.

  82. Have a trade offer my way…

    I give: Vick/Bush
    I receive: Romo/CJ2K

My backup QB is Tannehill (people started drafting backup qb’s in round 5-6)

    12-man PPR league.

    Thanks!

  83. All i’m going to say is this Paul.

and then i’m going to delete your comment.

I was #17 after Week 1, Week 2 was a bad week. I am #2 at QB. #4 at D/ST. It is a long season and the fact that you still take the time to come on here and study it so closely shows that you actually follow the advice on this site. So ‘Mr. Giatami’ thank you for showing you care. And just for you, I got something special cooked up for you this weekend.

  84. Why delete his comment, post a reply and let it go, by deleting it you look like you have a fragile ego.

  85. I would make that trade. Vick and Bush might not make it through the season. Theyre both hurting right now. Romo has good talent around him and will be more consistent than Vick. CJ2K will be the workhorse in Tenn,

  86. The only way Montee Ball breaks out is if Moreno goes down. Right now Moreno is running too good for Ball to take over. Plus with Clady down I would think the coaches trust Moreno more than Ball for pass pro.

  87. I wouldn’t. There’s a MUCH better chance that Morris returns to last year’s form than McFadden plays the whole year, and Shorts has a really bad situation. I’d roll with Morris unless a better deal presented itself.

  88. Hey guys, trade question here. Do you think Arian Foster & Willis McGahee is enough to get Adrian Peterson?

My RBs: Arian Foster, DeMarco Murray, Reggie Bush, Joique Bell, Montee Ball, Willis McGahee

  89. Don’t flatter yourself I follow this website because it’s entertaining to see you blow calls, I stopped following your advice when I read what you had written up about Darren McFadden this year. You called Matt Flynn a good deep ball quarterback and that can be seen here (Mcfadden is number 18 in RBs):
    http://www.beastdome.com/fantasy-football-rankings-tate-raped-2013/

To clarify I’m not criticizing your Mcfadden ranking I’m pointing out that you don’t know what you’re talking about and Ron Jaworski agrees with me, see what he has to say about Matt Flynn’s arm strength here:
    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/06/25/arm-strength-remains-a-question-mark-for-matt-flynn/

After seeing you deleted my comment I read your week 3 bust column and noticed that you rank Ridley 20th on here but you have him ranked 5th on FantasyPros (kinda fishy) and you completely blow the call on Edelman, Revis has covered a slot receiver on 1 of 120 plays this season, they’ll most likely use him to guard Thompkins on the outside leaving Julian free to catch another 10 balls. If Montee Ball outscores Moreno and Edelman finishes outside of the top 25 this week I’ll stop poking holes in your limited football knowledge but until then expect me to be a thorn in your side.

  90. I’ll agree with you in terms of noodle arm Flynn. His passes that go past 20 yards look like wounded ducks. As for Ridley, you do realize that Munt submits his rankings to FantasyPros three minutes before kickoff on Sunday, correct? That means you’re looking at the previous week’s rankings to prove you point. As for Revis, Tampa will definitely look to shut down the most productive receiver on the team, ie Edleman. Week one they played the Jets, who have no competent receivers. Week two was against the Saints, who have a plethora of options. Tampa has yet to play a team this year that has a single dependable receiver.

I do find it quite comical that you rail on Munt for cherry-picking his calls, yet you do the same to prove your point of view. Again, what exactly is your fantasy pedigree? I’ll just go ahead and assume you’ve gotten every call on every player correct with the level of nit-picking you’re displaying. Still waiting for you to put your money where your mouth is. I won’t hold my breathe as lobbing shots from the peanut gallery seems more your cup of tea.

Expect me to be a thorn in your side for your little lemmings comment. To assume everyone here blindly follows Munt’s rankings to a T is both asinine and insulting.

  91. Great call on Julian, Paul. Top 25 receiver for sure! Munt has Moreno ranked much higher than Montee for Week 3 and Ridley performed to Munt’s expectations.

Enjoy that crow! Mmm mmm, good.

  92. Paul, 2 questions…1) Do you realize the amount of control that us Fantasy Football players have on the NFL? 2) Have you ever played organized Football past the High School level and taken notice to the changes and adjustments that need to be made throughout the season for reasons that can only unfold?… Flynn has gotten unexpectedly worse over time, his talent is still there, his smarts and confidence are the issues. Something terribly hard to predict. Munts strategy is top notch. Do us all a favor and follow other FF columns, that way we can roll over you in the PLAYOFFS.

  93. Demaryius still considered a sell high player after this week?

Before Week 4, he was on pace for 1600 yards and only 11 touchdowns. Agree with you that it’s hard to sustain that but given the fact that Peyton is going to shatter the records and push for 60+ tds, maybe complaining about 10+ td is a bit too much?

Now after Week 4, Demaryius is on pace for 1550 yards and 16 tds. Of course I can see it being more like 1200 and 10tds but also a chance for a higher ceiling. But who’s to complain. Just enjoy what the Broncos are doing and enjoy the ride. :)
