FANTASY FOOTBALL BEAST OR BUST
BEAST OR BUST
BEAST DOME NATION.
Last season the Sheep Fantasy Experts on FantasyPros Ranked Todd Gurley the #1 RB overall. No expert ranked Gurley lower than myself in 2016, and once again all experts are still giving Todd Gurley Top 10 Love.
While there is no doubting Gurley as a talent, you will look like a sheep in front of your friends on Draft Day if you select his name.
First lets look at Jared Goff.
Despite adding Offensive Line duo Andrew Whitworth from Cincy and John Sullivan from Washington, the Rams are still a team that is led by..Jared Goff.
Goff cannot read NFL Defenses, and he cannot handle pressure. Learning a new offense could not be any worst than last season, but expecting any big improvement is a huge stretch. Especially with the loss of #1 WR Kenny Britt.
New Head Coach Sean McVay is getting a lot of positive buzz from his days at Washington as the OC, lets not forget that Washington Head Coach Jay Gruden got the job in Washington because it was his offensive system in Cincy that led him to the head coaching job for the Redskins. Sean McVay is piggybacking off of the success.
Defenses will be focusing all energy on shutting down Todd Gurley as he is the only threat, from the first time he touches the ball, to the last. All eyes on Gurley.
Just when it could not get any worst, the Rams still have a garbage secondary that cannot contain any offense. If the Rams start falling out of games by the 3rd Quarter, expect Lance Dunbar to get all the garbage stats as the Rams rest Gurley to survive another weke.
Combine all this with the fact the Rams have one of the toughest schedules in the NFL going up against the Vikings, Giants, Texans and a slew of other tough matchups including 2 against Seattle.
