FANTASY FOOTBALL THURSDAY NIGHT LIGHTS:

OPERATION DESERT STORM (WEEK 14)

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

Two teams that are both going to be in the Playoffs could be involved in one of the most boring Thursday Night Games of the Year.

The injured Minnesota Vikings who are missing defensive stars on the D-Line/LB Core/and secondary, have no chance to slow down an Arizona Cardinals Offense that has been Red Hot since Week 1. Most importantly, when the Vikings have the Football. You can guarantee the Cardinals will have all eyes focused on stopping Adrian Peterson while daring Teddy Bridgewater to beat them with his arm. An arm that should be able to throw for over 200+ Yards, but will he be able to match the 20+ Points from the Cardinals?

The answer is no. The Arizona Defense aka “Operation Desert Storm” is going to be at full force with all eyes watching. Teddy B will not have enough time to throw, Adrian Peterson will have nowhere to run. Punter Jeff Locke will have to be the Vikings MVP by controlling the game of Field Position.

This is not going to be an exciting Thursday Night Football Game like we had last week with the Lions that came down to a Hail-Mary.

This is going to be one of those one sided blowouts where a Hot Dominant Football Team is catching another Football team that is going in the wrong direction at the wrong time of the year. Offense has not been producing and Adrian Peterson cannot carry this team on his back when the Defense is not making stops.

Luckily for the Vikings, they have two upcoming Home Games against the Bears/Giants. If they win both of those, they are in. If they split, the Vikings could fall out of the Playoff Picture with a tough Week 17 game @ Green Bay.

As for the Cardinals, as long as they stay healthy and keep winning, that #2 Seed in the NFC has their name all over it. Do not be surprised to see Seattle Seahawks make a deeper playoff run than the Cardinals. The Seahawks offense has come to life since Graham/Marshawn have gone down.
