JULIO & THE HAMMY (Week 6)

Julio Jones is by far the best WR in the NFL at this moment. However Week 6 with a bad hamstring/short rest week, and a matchup against Keenan Lewis who will have his opportunity to show off how BEASTLY he is on Primetime TV, all of a sudden makes this a matchup Matt Ryan may want to avoid. While Julio Jones can BEAST at any moment because he is not human, the Falcons passing game will need the help of Leonard Hankerson/Jacob Tamme and Roddy White to chip in whatever #2 option Devonta Freeman leaves on the table.

While everyone has been so focused on Matt Ryan and the passing game for the Falcons the last two seasons, Devonta Freeman has changed into a complete monster BEAST that cannot be stopped. He will run 100 MPH right at you, and if you are underestimating his ability to break tackles, he will run right through you. Expect the Falcons to rely heavily on Devonta Freeman tonight as they try to steal away a win from Drew Brees in the Superdome on Primetime TV. A feat that is tough within itself.

The Saints Passing game is by far the worst this passing game has ever been under Drew Brees. Brees says his arm is fine, but his throws make Peyton Manning’s look average these days. There is no doubt that Brees is one of the best leaders on the Football Field and will always keep the Saints competitive, but that vintage 400 Yard Drew Brees with 80 Yard TD bombs, is gone for now. The Saints are going to have win this game relying on their trio of RBs. Mark Ingram will do the heavy lifting, CJ Spiller will get the swing passes, and Khiry Robinson will crush up the middle when the Falcons Defense is tired. While Brandin Cooks and Willie Snead can make some big plays in the passing game to spark this offense, the Saints are going to need to pound the ball and kill the clock.

While everyone is expecting fireworks for this game, Redzone Defense will win it. The Saints Defense has been less than 100% all season and finally got healthy Week 4. They had no chance against a Hot Eagles offense on the road in Week 5, and tonight is the night that defense steps up and contains Matt Ryan from racking up the TDs. The key is Devonta Freeman, if the Saints can somehow slow down this new found BEAST, then the Saints will be able to pull out the win. Drew Brees on Primetime TV is another animal, he does not lose very often in these situations and he will get a lot of help in the YAC department (Yards After Catch) from his playmakers to win the game.
