FANTASY FOOTBALL THURSDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

The Return of Super Cam (Week 1)

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

The time is here. Football is upon us. Last season I went 13-3 when picking the winner for Thursday Night Football. This year we will continue to roll down the same track.

Tonight we have the Super Bowl rematch of Broncos hosting the Panthers.

No Peyton Manning, in comes the future Rich Gannon, Trevor Siemian.

CAROLINA

IMAGINE.

Taking a handoff up the middle and getting your bones crushed by TJ Ward or Von Miller.

Cam Newton is going to be looking down the barrel of a Defense that is ready to smash his head off every time he tries to run the ball. Broncos D will be AMPED for this game. Home opener, Ring Night, and you can guarantee Von Miller and TJ Ward are going to lay some serious hits. Jonathan Stewart will never get going, the Panthers offense is going to look rushed and off balance. Broncos have the best secondary in the NFL. When Von Miller gets going, Carolina will be punting often.

FANTASY PLAYS FOR CAROLINA

DENVER

Wait, what did I say about Siemian being the next Rich Gannon? Yes you read that correct. You will see a certain touch on his passes that most of us dream of. Throws will be on the money, Demaryius and Emmanuel will win their matchups against a Panthers Secondary that cleaned house. You can expect the Panthers Front 7 to make an impact, but I like the air attack to be a nice sleeper.

FANTASY PLAYS FOR DENVER

BRONCOS #6 D/ST

DEMARYIUS THOMAS #14 WR

Brandon McManus #9 Kicker

EMMANUEL SANDERS #25 WR

DENVER 24. CAR 20.

Benching Stew this week. 2RBs/2WR/1Flex options: AP, Ware, Gore, Forgetting Brandon Marshall, Tate, J Landry. I’ll survive without Beef Stew against the Broncos D.

What do you think about Virgil Green this year? I think he looks good and may have a nice role in Kubiaks offense.

It seems fairly obvious, by lack of enthusiastic responses, that you are the only fan of V Green on this site.

u were close on the score munt, but u left out cja who had a monster game. siemian had a nice touch but got burnt in the end.. will call it rookie learning curve. either way i think we can expect bigger and better things from denvers offense as the season progresses. glad i got e-man on the bench. BEAST!
