FANTASY FOOTBALL: PRESEASON RANKINGS FINALE (2013)

FANTASY FOOTBALL:

PRESEASON RANKINGS FINALE (2013)

BEAST DOME NATION.

Through good and bad, happy and sad.  We are now at the end of what has been an adventurous month for the BEAST DOME NATION.  Everything from Fantasy Baseball Championships, to Site Being Down, to people angry over my BEASTcast Radio Music.

We have now reached all the rookie Mistakes.  BEAST DOME is on the Most Expensive Server plan a Site can ask for, so we do not have to worry about site going down.  BEASTcast Radio will be made with no music when I speak, there will still be breathers.

Many of you were hoping to come to the Site to read my Handcuffs today.  That is the first thing we will go over in Tonights BEASTcast.  Hope to see you all there.  Afterwards I will start to unveil each position, show should go on for a few hours if you cannot make it at 8.  Rankings will be posted on BEAST DOME after the show.

TESTIMONIAL

Munt,

I just wanted to say thanks for another successful fantasy baseball year and helping me making the playoffs. Team #1 finished the regular season in second place.  Team #2 finished in third.  Last season won the Championship!

This is my second full year participating in the BeastDome Nation and I have come to trust Munt!  It doesn’t matter what the sport is – Baseball, Football or Basketball you are a true fantasy guru!  Being a VIP member is an unbelievable deal.  First of all, you are so accessible (chat, email, twitter) for questions.  It is great having the ability to run waiver wire suggestions/pickups by you before making a move.  Your starting pitcher rankings are awesome.  I have really come to rely on them.  Many sites do pitcher rankings but I definitely have the edge using yours!  Oh, and the most important part – you were there guiding me through the draft.  I have gone from fantasy bonehead to fantasy champion!

I can’t for the playoffs to begin next week.  That is when the real fun begins!  Thanks for everything.

Hey Munt, I need your advice, I missed my draft for one of my leagues, and got autodrafted, but I made some trades and pickups based on BEAST knowledge hoping to salvage it. Does it have championship potential?

    QB: Ryan/Romo
    RB: SJax/Murray/Montee Ball/Roy Helu/Michael Bush
    WR: BMarsh/Welker/Lance Moore/Jennings/Britt
    TE: Julius Thomas/Fred Davis
    K: Matt Bryant
    D/ST: Arizona

Surprisingly this is the best auto draft team I have ever seen.

How you managed to get the QB/K with Romo as a backup is amazing. Great RBs/Great, solid TE. You will have a good year.

That is absolutely a championship team in my opinion. Steam defenses all season with Munt’s weekly rankings in mind. I think you’re on pace for a killer season.

Thanks for the encouragement, Munt’s latest rankings have me VERY excited for this team. Good luck to all the other BEAST DOME regulars with their fantasy football seasons!

Just finished my first draft of the year in a money league and this is what i have so far. This is a 10 man Yahoo! league with standard settings 1 QB/2 RB’s/3 WR’s/1 TE/ 1 K/ 1 Def/ 5 bn

    QB’s: Tom Brady/Russell Wilson
    RB’s: Arian Foster/MJD/Monte Ball/Rashard Mendenhall
    WR’s: Dez Bryant/Randall Cobb/Hakeem Nicks/Anquan Boldin/Justin Blackmon(stashing)/Percy Harvin (deep stash for playoff push)
    TE: Greg Olson
    K: Blair Walsh
    Def: St. Louis

I want to trade for Rob Gronkowski and maybe the Arizona defense, how should i package the deals you think? I know my team is pretty beast and I can’t wait until the season starts.

Had a 16 team draft today. Got Montee in the 3rd Gronk in the 6th, missed Freeman in the 11th so I settled for Tannehill asmy backup QB. Eli as my starter. Also got Steven Jack,David Wilson, and Helu as RBs

My draft already finished way before preseason, but I am RB thin (Jamal Charles, S-Jax, Bradhshaw and Ivory). I was thinking about trading WRs for RBs, (I have Megatron, V-Jax, Colston, Thompkins, D-Jax) for either Montee ball w/ my lower WRs or go for a RB1 stud like marshawn lynch directly for megatron.

    thoughts?

    • AdviceSeeker August 31, 2013   Reply →

or megatron for Reggie Bush and maybe Fitz?

obviously…your team is sick. do you really need munt to confirm that with you lmfao

So i finally achieved fantasy nirvana and just drafted the greatest team in a 10 man Yahoo! Pro League. Even Yahoo’s computer was impressed and said I was going 13-1. Can i get an opinion lol, I cant even believe I got this team. No trades were involved and no one was on autodraft, also I was the #3 pick.

    QB: Russell Wilson

WR: AJ Green / Demaryius Thomas / Vincent Jackson / Anquan Boldin / Vincent Brown / Cordarrelle Patterson

RB: Doug Martin / Reggie Bush / Monte Ball / Rashard Mendenhall

TE: Rob Gronkowski / Jermichael Finley

    Def: Arizona
    K: Matt Prater

I am in a 12 team auction league with a $200 budget. Most of the top RBs will go for $40-60 leaving me with less money for other positions. Would you recommend trying to secure two top RBs such as Martin, TRich, McCoy or Lynch over getting one top 10 WR/RB/QB.

    • Muntradamus September 1, 2013   Reply →

Yes plenty of WR/QB talent late.

Romo/Desean Jackson/Miles Austin are all low price cheap options.
