WEEK 10 RECAP HAIKUS

BUFFALO BILLS

Ryan Fitzpatrick was great in comeback mode.
Fred Jackson was having a good game, concussion ruined it.
C.J. Spiller will be a top 5 RB next week.
Stevie Johnson was vintage, minus the TD.
Donald Jones was the #1 target, but is now injured.
Scott Chandler has 3 TDs against the Patriots this season.
BILLS D/ST will have better matchups.

MIAMI DOLPHINS

Ryan Tannehill is Mr. Inconsistent.
Reggie Bush fumbled early, he should bounce back.
Daniel Thomas did not make his team better.
Brian Hartline and Davone Bess are the clear #1 and #2 WRs.
Dolphins D/ST was I right, or was I right.

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

Brady disappointed with only 2 TDs.
Danny Woodhead stole one of them on the ground.
Which hurt Stevan Ridley even though he was a Top 5 RB.
Wes Welker underperformed with 74 Yards.
Gronk underperformed and the TD saved him.
Brandon Lloyd underperformed, drew a lot of pass interference calls.
Aaron Hernandez will make this rotation fun.
NE D/ST is not the best.

NEW YORK JETS

Mark Sanchez needs to be benched.
Shonn Greene cannot do much with no threat of a passing game.
Jeremy Kerley is the #1 WR.
Dustin Keller should be the #1 option most weeks.
Jets D/ST is a great playoff unit.

HOUSTON TEXANS

Matt Schaub bad weather.
Andre Johnson bad weather. Still got 9 Targets.
Arian Foster was dominant, #1 RB.
Owen Daniels back next week.
Ben Tate should be back.
Houston D/ST is a Top 5 Unit thanks to Wade Phillips.

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

Andrew Luck was bailed out by his 2 Rushing TDs.
Donald Brown and Vick Ballard are Low-End RB#3s.
Reggie Wayne continues to get his targets (11).
Donnie Avery and T.Y. Hilton are both WR#4 quality.
Dwayne Allen did not take advantage with no Fleener.
Colts D/ST is not as good as you think.

JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

Blaine Gabbert & Chad Henne are not good QB options.
Rashad Jennings should be traded now if you still can.
Maurice Jones-Drew will be back maybe by Week 12.
Cecil Shorts is the best Fantasy WR on the team.
Laurent Robinson’s role might have grown past Justin Blackmon.
Marcedes Lewis can self-park in the Waiver Wire.
JAX D/ST is not good.

TENNESSEE TITANS

Jake Locker was not efficient, but he got his fantasy points.
CJ2K is here, alive and kicking.
No Titans WR is safe R.O.S.
Low-End #3 option at best (Britt/Washington)
Jared Cook has Fantasy Playoff potential written all over him.
Titans D/ST is not as bad as they were. Good matchup in Week 12.

CLEVELAND BROWNS

Bye Week.
Consistent Offense is key.

PITTSBURGH STEELERS

Ben Roethlisberger OUT with shoulder injury.
Byron Leftwich should stay on your waiver wire.
Jonathan Dwyer should be the RB for Pitt this week.
After an Isaac Redman fumble early.
Unless Rashard Medenhall somehow returns.
Mike Wallace got saved by his TD. Not enough.
Heath Miller stayed like Heath with 47 Yards.
Steelers D/ST get their numbers.

BALTIMORE RAVENS

Joe Flacco dominates in great matchup.
Ray Rice only saw 13 Carries to preserve him.
Bernard Pierce has 10 Carries and does nothing.
Anquan Boldin saw the most targets.
Torrey Smith was the one who dominated with 2 TDs.
Dennis Pitta came back from the graveyard with a TD.
Ravens D/ST can thank special teams.

CINCINNATI BENGALS

Andy Dalton continues to perform well 199 Yards/4 TDs.
Benjarvus Green-Ellis continues to be a slow bowling ball.
AJ Green dominated with double digit targets.
Jermaine Gresham and Andrew Hawkins saved their 10+ Yard games with TDs.

SAN DIEGO CHARGERS

Phillip Rivers did good in a good matchup. Bad 2nd Half though.
Danario Alexander is like to be the #1 name off of waiver wires Tuesday Night.
Antonio Gates + Malcolm Floyd found the endzone (2nd week in a row).
Feels like 2010 again.
Ryan Mathews owners have to stay patient.
SD D/ST is not a bad unit. But not bulletproof.

DENVER BRONCOS

Peyton Manning owners want more.
Willis McGahee has to stop fumbling.
Ronnie Hillman is still pure handcuff.
Demariyus Thomas had a MONSTER game. No TD.
Erick Decker was targeted only 4 times.
Brandon Stokley stole his day.
Joel Dresseen beat Jacob Tamme, neither did much.
Broncos D/ST. I told you so.
AFC Champions.

OAKLAND RAIDERS

Carson Palmer got his numbers when the Raiders fell behind.
Marcel Reece (20 Touches) is a RB#3 if Run D.M.C has to miss another week.
Which may not be the case.
Denarius Moore got his numbers.
Darrius Heyward-Bey got his numbers.
Both saw 8 targets.
Brandon Myers is a solid TE with 5 receptions consistently.
Raiders D/ST is not good.

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

Matt Cassel is not a usable Fantasy QB.
Dwayne Bowe is much safer when Cassel is QB.
Still not a good start.
Jamaal Charles did his thing Monday Night.
The matchup was right.
Chiefs D/ST had weather on their side.

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

Good Night Vick.
Nick Foles will be a good option if the Eagles O-Line holds up.
Same goes for Maclin and Desean Jackson.
LeSean McCoy could get more carries now.
Celek figures to lose value as Nick likes to throw deep.
Eagles D/ST is a joke.

DALLAS COWBOYS

Tony Romo saved his day with a late TD.
Felix Jones showed skill in his last start.
DeMarco Murray should be back this week.
Dez saved his day with a late TD, that should have been overturned.
Austin and Dez switch off week-to-week.
Jason Witten continues to be a target monster.
Dallas D/ST continues to improve without Sean Lee.

NEW YORK GIANTS

Eli’s got 99 Problems, but consistency of being inconsistent is not 1.
Ahmad Bradshaw impressive in limited touches.
Victor Cruz dropped a TD.
Hakeem Nicks was the clear #1 option with 13 Targets.
Martellus Bennett should still be on your team as he had 9 targets.
Andre Brown is a RB#3 who is getting safer to play if Bradshaw misses practice.
Giants D/ST did not show up.

WASHINGTON REDSKINS

Bye Week.
Pierre Garcon may return.

MINNESOTA VIKINGS

Christian Ponder was good in the + matchup.
Adrian Peterson is still the BEAST.
Kyle Rudolph was the #1 WR with Harvin out.
Percy Harvin should be back Week 11.
No other Vikings WR is worth considering.
Vikings D fell apart late.

GREEN BAY PACKERS

Aaron Rodgers got the TDs, but little Yards.
Owners will take it.
James Starks 17 Carries vs. Alex Green 11.
A split that is favoring Starks.
James Jones 7 Targets. Randall Cobb 4 Targets.
Cobb had the more all-around game and is a great sell-high candidate.
JerMichael Finley only 2 Targets. Looking bad.
GB D/ST misses it’s playmakers.

CHICAGO BEARS

Jay Cutler concussion.
Jason Campbell will be an okay replacement.
Matt Forte could not do anything in the bad conditions.
Michael Bush looked good but had a big fumble.
Brandon Marshall will be fine with whatever QB throws him the ball.
Devin Hester/Earl Bennett. Should be on your waiver wire.
Robbie Gould okay game.
Bears Defense did not do much, still one of the best.

DETROIT LIONS

Matthew Stafford 3 2nd Half TDs were nice.
Mikel Leshoure showed his true colors.
Joique Bell only has value in PPR leagues.
Kevin Smith might be back in the rotation.
Megatron is reloaded.
Titus Young was the #2 WR. TD saved his day.
Ryan Broyles 3 targets is not enough.
Brandon Pettigrew great to see him score a TD.
Lions D/ST Waiver Wire.

ATLANTA FALCONS

Matt Ryan did what he was supposed to do.
Michael Turner is now 3/17 in goal-to-go situation. 0/3 Sunday from the 1.
JacQuizz Rodgers looked like the much better back.
Julio Jones missed a majority of the game, still got 74 Yards.
Roddy White did everything but score a TD.
Tony Gonzalez had 122 Yards and 2 TDs. MVP type performance.
ATL D/ST was not great, but it is hard to be against the Saints.

CAROLINA PANTHERS

Cam Newton had better passing numbers than expected.
Did not have 1 Point with his rushing stats. That’s not why you drafted you him.
Greg Olsen 100+ Yards and 2 TDs. Huge game.
Brandon LaFell saw more targets than Steve Smith.
Both were overmatched.
Jonathan Stewart is the lead RB by only a little bit.
High-End RB#3 at best.
DeAnglo Williams RB#4 at best.
Panthers D/ST is not a terrible unit.

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

Josh Freeman only had 20 Pass attempts thanks to two Defensive TDs.
Vincent Jackson wanted a bigger game against his old team.
Mike Williams gets his streak patterns.
Doug Martin put up a LeSean McCoy game.
TDs A Make Them Dance.
Dallas Clark got his TD.
TB D/ST is not strong against the pass.

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

Drew Brees almost had his 300 Yards/3 TDs. Still the best Fantasy QB.
Christopher Ivory will make every RB weak when Sproles returns.
Sproles/Ivory/Ingram/Thomas is how they rank.
Marques Colston owners are not happy to see Jimmy Graham.
Jimmy Graham is a TD machine.
Lance Moore had the mismatch.
Saints D/ST, best thing to say is they have a good offense.

ARIZONA CARDINALS

Bye Week.
Being a good offense is the weakness.

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

Alex Smith concussion.
Colin Kapernick could be a sleeper start if you need a QB.
Frank Gore looked good on his way to a 90+ Yard/1 TD game.
Kendall Hunter, pure handcuff.
Michael Crabtree got his 70 Yards/TD. Nothing with Kapernick.
Vernon Davis will start getting more targets.
SF D/ST is still ELITE. Bad game.

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Russell Wilson three solid weeks in a row.
Marshawn Lynch BEAST MODE all season.
Sidney Rice continues to be a TD machine.
Golden Tate is gaining trust as a WR#3.
SEA D/ST could not stop AP. Which says a lot.

ST. LOUIS RAMS

Sam Bradford is happy to have Amendola back.
Danny Amendola is WR#2 Material again.
80 Yard catch taken back still 102 Yards.
Steven Jackson looked vintage with a working passing game.
Daryl Richardson project is on hold.
Rams D/ST hard to judge against Kaepernick.

    S. Moss-Redskins
    M. Wallace-Steelers (NO BIG BEN)

    -Thanks. Robb

  3. I think the Steelers will be a running team this week, Wallace may see some balls his way, but probably not much, not with Leftwich as QB. Moss is a no, Philly may not be that great but they will be all over Moss, they’re still good enough to play good defense. Gordon is going against Dallas, gonna have a tough time, Kerley is plain old NO, That leaves Cobb who is matched up against Detroit, he should be okay. And Boldin, who will be matched up against Pittsburgh, yet be okay. If Ben does play, it still may be a running games as his injuries will affect his passing.

  4. Simply put, NO! Gronk and Colston are at least #1 options in their respective offenses, Calvin is too, Cook is not. Calvin seems to be coming on, finally. But Cook is not going to get you the points you’ll be missing from Colston or Gronk, not even in a ppr. So again, NO! don’t do it, is my opinion.

  5. DSTs for this week and the weeks ahead:

Do you rate GB, Baltimore, NE, NYG above say the Bills, Jets or Rams?

    Cheers

  6. Munt, can J.Bell now be safely dropped? Non ppr-league. I have J.Rodgers and J.Dwyer as my flex/bench RBs and Mcgahee, Rice as RB1/RB2.
