MUNTRADAMUS EXPERT UPDATE

FANTASYPROS

QB #2 Overall

D/ST #4 Overall

ROTO CHATTER

#1 Overall

#1 QB

#4 RB

#1 WR

#1 TE

#3 FLEX

#2 Kicker

#1 D/ST

QB

TOM BRADY – QB – NE

ECR #11

MUNTRADAMUS #18

Terrific Tom needs his weapons.  With only Edelman against Darrell Revis and the rest of his rookie WRs against this TB secondary.  Looks like a week you must bench Brady.

RGIII – QB – WAS

ECR #8

MUNTRADAMUS #13

RG3 has been great this season.  When the game is in garbage time and RG3 throws against prevent defenses.  This should be a closer game for the Redskins which means RG3 will have to be solid throughout, not sure that is going to be the case.

RB

MATT FORTE – RB – CHI

ECR #6

MUNTRADAMUS #13

Cold Weather. Bad Field. Hard Hitting defense.  This has all the makings of the dreadful Matt Forte ankle injury that so many owners of his should fear.  Do not be surprised if this is the week it happens.

STEVAN RIDLEY – RB – NE

ECR #14

MUNTRADAMUS #20

Riddle me this, Riddle me that.  The Bucs were the #1 Team against the Run last season, and this season their run D has not skipped a Beat.  Ridley is doing just about anything and everything he can to lose the RB job.  Ridley is barely a Top 15 RB this week.

DARREN SPROLES – RB – NO

ECR #16

MUNTRADAMUS #25

Sproles could be good every week, but he is not a Top 20 RB.  The Cardinals defense is no joke and the role of Pierre Thomas is growing. Sproles may be good for his 80 Total Yards, but that will not be enough to make him a Top 15 RB.

WR

JULIAN EDELMAN – WR – NE

ECR #22

MUNTRADAMUS #47

Edelman may be the only thing the Patriots have at WR, that does not mean he will do well against Revis Island on Sunday.  Tampa knows they just have to shut out Julian and Tom Brady will not have any weapons to throw to.  That is if Gronk does not return, right now less than probable.

TE

TONY GONZALEZ – TE – ATL

ECR #3

MUNTRADAMUS #12

This entire season we have seen nothing but a very slow version of Tony Gonzalez.  The Dolphins have a very athletic LB core, and Cameron Wake can drop from the DE position to take Gonzalez out of the game.  Tony is a step slower, and his days of being a star TE are on the way out.

K

SEBASTIAN JANIKOWSKI – K – OAK

ECR #13

MUNTRADAMUS #26

If the Raiders are traveling to Denver on Monday Night and plan on being in a FG battle against Peyton Manning.  They are sadly mistaken.  The FG may not be relevant for the Raiders once the 2nd Quarter begins.

RBs – McCoy, DeMarco Murray, Gio Bernard, Lamar Miller, McGahee
WRs – Dez, Amendola, Josh Gordon

Need someone to fill in for Amendola while he is injured. Not feeling good about Josh Gordon yet. Would it be a good idea to drop McGahee for Tavon Austin this week? Or should I just wait for McGahee to gain some value?

        1. Seems like maybe some shallow benches or there’s another position to drop, like a 2nd DEF? Maybe a backup TE? Wouldn’t want to drop McGahee already, better to take the flyer on Gordon than lose the opportunity at RB

  2. My team: 12 team .5ppr league

    Peyton Manning
    Hakeem Nicks
    Stevie Johnson
    Marshawn Lynch
    Alfred Morris
    Jermichael Finley
    Stevan Ridley

    Bench:
    Greg Jennings
    Willis McGahee
    Brian Hartline
    Vincent Brown

Just got offered Brandon Marshall, Miles Austin and Sproles for Lynch and Nicks? Do i do it if not what moves should i make?

    1. I dont like that trade at all. Although buying low on Austin is smart, Lynch is as safe as you can get at RB whereas you never know what your going to get with Sproles and the NO offense. I always stick with the safe RBs, they are tough to come by.

  3. I have Doug Martin, Reggie Bush (Pending), and Stevan Ridley starting for this week, I have Joique Bell, Giovani Bernard and James Starks on my bench should I start Ridley over Bell? or start both bell and bernard if bush doesnt play?

  4. A Chicago RB who can’t run in the cold and is going to get an ankle injury, interesting call Munt. Let’s hope not I am starting Forte. Pitts D looked good against Tennessee and Cincin but that aint’ sayin’ much.

  5. CHUH-CHING! Munt puts the sledgehammer down on his Week 3 busts picks! By my math he called 7/8 on the money. Since Im a Forte owner in 2/3 leagues Im breathing a sigh of relief that he missed that one…again. Munt…are you from Wisconsin by any chance? LOL
