UPDATED: WEEK 11 RANKINGS W/ ANALYSIS

Coming Tonight

BUSTS

*All Rankings Will Be Finalized Saturday Night in the Updated Rankings above.

JOE FLACCO – QB – BAL

MUNTRADAMUS QB RANK: #20
EXPERT CONSENSUS RANK: #17

Flacco was my sleeper pick of the Week (10).  He brought me the #2 QB Ranking last week with the best performance of any player.  This week I am throwing him to the back of my rankings.

Playing in Pittsburgh in a cold Sunday Night sounds miserable.  The crowd will be electric on top of it which means Flacco could easily get less than 200 Yards.  Do not start him because of his hype from last week.

FRANK GORE – RB – SF

MUNTRADAMUS RB RANK: #23
EXPERT CONSENSUS RANK: #10

Frank would have a much better chance if Kaepernick was the QB in Week 11.  When Colin runs those naked bootlegs so effectively, it sets up Frank Gore for an extra second of time against Linebackers that have to make sure Kaepernick did not keep the ball.

Last week he saved his day with a late 20 yard TD in the 4th quarter.  You better believe Chicago will be packing their run defense that is one of the best in the NFL.  There are better options than Gore this week.

SHONN GREENE – RB – NYJ

MUNTRADAMUS RB RANK: #31
EXPERT CONSENSUS RANK: #19

Greene Machine was just recommended in a Buy Low article.  The reason you want to Buy Low is because this matchup is not good on paper, and hopefully it makes the Jets turn to Tim Tebow for the save.  The Rams defense plays much better at home and with Mark Sanchez being the best friend to any defense, I don’t like Greene to find the endzone.

DWAYNE BOWE – WR – KC

MUNTRADAMUS WR RANK: #39
EXPERT CONSENSUS RANK: #23

Dwayne is the Luckiest Man in the world to hear that Brady Quinn will not be his QB for now.

Matt Cassel gives Bowe some hope to have a breakout game, chances are Leon Hall who completely shutdown Victor Cruz in Week 10 will be up to the challenge to slow him down.  Which is why he is my bust WR of the Week.

TORREY SMITH – WR – BAL

MUNTRADAMUS WR RANK: #38
EXPERT CONSENSUS RANK: #24

Torrey thrives on Sunday Night Football, but I do not like this matchup against a Steelers defense that is playing very well without Polamalu.  While it is completely possible Torrey will get a 50 Yard TD on one of his three streak patterns thrown his way on the night.

If he does not land any of them, you are looking at a huge Bust type of game.  Torrey Smith does not want to go over the middle against those Line Backers, they will eat him alive.

HEATH MILLER – TE – PIT

MUNTRADAMUS WR RANK: #17
EXPERT CONSENSUS RANK: #9

Heath is a great safety valve for Byron Leftwich.  Big Ben loved Heath Miller more than Leftwich does.

Byron will want to get his big play WRs involved if he wants to stay on the good side of the media as it is possible he will be the QB for the rest of the season.  Leftwich has a big arm, and the Ravens are not good at defending the pass.  Look for Leftwich to favor Wallace and Sanders much more on the night.

SHAUN SUISHAM – K – PIT

MUNTRADAMUS K RANK: #26
EXPERT CONSENSUS RANK: #15

While the above sounds good about Leftwich.  Chances are he does not get the Steelers in good enough position to setup Suisham for FGs.  Keep in mind, kicking in Heinz Field is never something to be excited about.  Especially in a late Sunday Night environment.

PACKERS – D/ST – GB

MUNTRADAMUS D/ST RANK: #21
EXPERT CONSENSUS RANK: #13

Clay Matthews is out this week. Charles Woodson is still out.  Matt Stafford is getting hot.

Nothing is good about this matchup for Green Bay.  Look for a better option if you want the W this week.

  1. Hey Munt, Beastdome, thanks for all your tips, Would you play Andre Roberts over Dwayne Bowe? I was gonna start Santana Moss & Bowe (percy on bye) other team has RG3, Sanders & Avery are also on the wire, I do kinda like Avery but my opponent has Calvin & Pettigrew to my Stafford, that is why I have picked up Moss

  2. Any idea who I should start? I’ve got Felix Jones, Marcel Reece and Alfred Morris lined up to go in a PPR league, I only need two.

  3. @Cutmaster

Id start Marcel Reese and Alfred Morris. your big decision should be to start felix jones or marcel reese. with darren McFadden out, it may work!
