THURSDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

Could Be Purple Could be Pink

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

No this game is not going to feature RB Kenyan Drake. The Could be Purple Could be Pink is the perfect way to describe this Bengals Defense. They can either be one of the best in the AFC, or sometimes make anyone look like a Superstar.

Week 2, they shut out Antonio Brown to the worst game in maybe his career with only 4 Receptions. Week 3, Trevor Siemian tears them up for 4 TD and 300+ Passing Yards. In Cincy! They are the worst run Defense in the NFL statistically, but they shutdown CJ Anderson last Week.

So what Defense are we going to see Thursday Night from this Bengals squad that is hosting the Miami Dolphins who won one of the sloppiest Football Games I have ever seen. Whether it was Terrelle Pryor playing like a Heisman candidate, or the Dolphins playing guess who will be RB next. This Thursday Night, that Pee Wee Football stuff will not work in Cincy.

When the cameras are on, the Bengals D is going to make Ryan Tannehill look like a ‘Brock Osweiler‘ that has hit PEAK form. While that sounds good on paper, I will describe to you how that sounds in reality.

Ryan Tannehill takes the snap. Pressure is in his face instantly as Carlos Dunlap and Geno Atkins will be on BEAST MODE against a weak Dolphins Line. Tannehill sees that the Bengals gameplanned to take Jarvis Landry out. That is fine Tannehill see’s Kenny Stills deep. Takes a shot, did not see the safety underneath. East INT.

Tannehill will be having a game like this all night. While the numbers may look nice in the end with all the pass attempts. Those INTs will add up.

When the Bengals have the ball. We are going to see why Andy Dalton and AJ Green is one of the most electric Duo’s in the NFL. Of course the Dolphins will throw safety help with Reshad Jones watching every single move. But that is fine. AJ Green will beat Byron Maxwell nearly every snap, and when Maxwell is BEAT the Dolphins will have to shift so much in coverage that Andy Dalton will be able to control this game. Giovani Bernard is going to be more of a PPR only RB tonight as he has no chance to run up against Suh. While Jeremy Hill will likely play similar to Jeremy Hill of Week 1/2 (Goal Line TD needs to save him). In the end, Andy Dalton and AJ Green control this Football Game, while the Bengals Defense has Tannehill looking like a 2nd year QB all over again.
