BEAST DOME FANTASY FOOTBALL CHEAT SHEET 2.0

For your draft, you should print out this sheet and mark it as you go along your draft.  If you choose not to print this page, you will let players slip right through your draft that will make you feel as dumb as Homer Simpson.

*Rankings last updated 8/15, next update 8/22.  To see up-to-rankings and analysis go to the BEAST DOME FANTASY FOOTBALL DRAFT GUIDE.

Last Helpful Hints before your draft:

*Pair your Kicker with QB.

*Grab the Best Player.

*Do not worry about Bye Weeks. Always grab the best player.

*There are a lot of TEs.

*Do not wait too late for a QB.

*Pair your Kicker with QB.

*Grab JacQuizz Rodgers/Willis McGahee no matter what.  Both go too late for how good they will be.

*Remember to grab combo players on the I.E. QB & TE/WR from same team.  If the picks make sense.

*Grab Tom Brady if you want a QB with 50 TD Passes.

*Pair your Kicker with QB.

  1. whats IE? also should we use the overall rankings when deciding who to grab next? for example, i pick QB with my first pick. who in the world do i pick next?

  2. Always take the best player possible.

But of course do not take back-to-back QBs. Fill in your roster.

If you want to look at my overall rankings to help you out, that would work as well. If there is a player who is available in the the 3rd round, and I have him in a Tier where he should be drafted in round (1-2) and you need that position.

    Grab that player.

    I.E. is example.

    Good Luck GW!

  3. Would you take Brady first overall in a 16 team league? Its a normal ppr league.

Then just draft the best positional players based on your overall rankings?

My thought was either trading down to the 3rd or 7th cuz brady will proly fall to those spots, or take foster number 1 and try to make a trade for brady after the draft. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated as my draft is this saturday.

  4. I drafted using the cheatcheatwizard draft simulator tool. Here are the two teams I drafted, which do you think is better?

    QB: Matt Ryan, Carson Palmer
RB: Arian Foster, Steven Jackson, BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Felix Jones, Lamar Miller
WR: Vincent Jackson, Greg Jennings, Darrius Heyward-Bey, Justin Blackmon
    TE: Greg Olsen, Coby Fleener
    PK: Matt Bryant
    TD: Denver Broncos

    QB: Tom Brady, Matt Cassel
RB: Steven Jackson, Frank Gore, BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Kendall Hunter, Javon Ringer
WR: Andre Johnson, DeSean Jackson, Titus Young, Randy Moss, Danny Amendola
    TE: Jermaine Gresham
    PK: Jason Hanson
    TD: Dallas Cowboys

  5. Hi Munt, you mentioned to not take back-to-back QB’s. Would this advice still ring true in a 2QB league?

  6. JTO

Tough to take him 1st in a 16 team league. In this case, you really do need a superstar QB on your squad. Arian Foster is a BEAST and he should be fine at the #1 slot, especially come playoff time.

Try to trade down, if you settle with Foster aim for Matt Ryan in round 4. Just know that if the top 6 QBs are selected by the time it gets back to you. You may be reaching for Matt Ryan early instead of taking a Steven Jackson type RB.

Brady is going to dominate this season. 50+ TDs are already in the books with this offense.

  7. In a 2 QB league, I would go with back-to-back QBs if you can get Matt Ryan as your 2nd QB. Your team would be unstoppable.

  8. Hey man just drafted this team in my money league i wanted another opinion. It is standard scoring except half point per reception and you have a flex,12 team league.
    Qb: RG3
    Rb: Arian Foster
    Rb: Willis Mcgahee
    Wr: Larry Fitzgerald
    Wr: Julio Jones
    Wr: Jeremy Maclin
    Te: Aaron Hernandez
    Flex: Carson Palmer
    K: Sebass
    Def: Buffalo
Bench: Jake Locker Ben Tate Jon Baldwin Alshon Jeffery Ryan Williams
Thanks for the feedback man keep up the good work

  9. Jordan

QB situation is a little dicey. I like RGadidas this season, but is he someone I would want as a #1, probably not. At least not every game. Carson Palmer looks like Bust City, his WRs have big play potential, but Palmer is not someone you may want to trust. Between the two you will have to play magical QBs for the right combo. Locker gives you a nice upside option, weird that you can play a QB at Flex, first time I have seen that.

RB’s are strong except you have no depth if an injury occurs McGahee. Tate is a good backup to Foster, but not someone you really want to count on as your 1-2 punch.

Like your WRs and TE, nothing wrong there.

Nice getting Janikowski with Palmer, following the strategy.

Buff D has top 10 potential.

Jeffery and Baldwin can both be dropped for better players.
