I found Munt’s Beast Dome earlier this year during the beginning of the football season. It was my first fantasy season and I didn’t know much about it- I started looking around the web for fantasy advice/rankings/info and it wasn’t long before I realized Munt was just about the best guy out there. I signed up for his VIP service and he helped me turn both of my mediocre teams into winning teams that made the playoffs. His level of attention, and his passion for fantasy sports is one your not likely to get anywhere else- so much so that he’s already gotten me addicted to fantasy basketball thru his VIP service and Im sure hell get me just as excited about Baseball soon. The screenshot really shows it all – Munt is an absolute beast and he has yet to let me down.

BEAST DOME NATION. CHAMPIONSHIP JOURNEY

BUY LOW

LAMARCUS ALDRIDGE – PF/C – POR

LaMarcus cannot get his consistency together.  One night he will explode for 24/12.  The next night he will get 8/8.  While his owners may be frustfrated, you can never doubt a player of his caliber.  Especially one that is capable of putting up monster numbers that could make him the #1 Fantasy Player for a few weeks this season.  LaMarcus is that good, and I would do what I can now to buy the Texas Star.

OFFER: Brook Lopez. Nikola Pekovic.

PAUL PIERCE – SF – BOS

This is a long Fantasy Basketball Season.

While Pierce as time looks fat and lazy, there will be more nights he looks like a Stud.  With the Celtics offense really lacking outside of an older Kevin Garnett, and a still inconsistent Rajon Rondo.  The Celtics are going to need Pierce to be their savior.

OFFER: J.R. Smith. Luol Deng.

RICKY RUBIO – PG – MIN

Ricky playing back-to-back games.

Looks like this 20 minute per game basis will be raising quickly, and when he gets his 30+ minutes.  He reminds you of a vintage Jason Kidd.  Rubio needs to either be added in all leagues or bought extremely low.  While his ACL return was nothing compared to Adrian Peterson’s, Rubio will still be able to ball like an ELITE.

OFFER: Andre Miller. Jeff Teague.

ERIC GORDON – SG – NOH

EG10 is good enough where I will make up a nickname similar to CP3 for him.  The guy is right up there with the Dwayne Wade/Monta Ellis SG caliber offinsvley.  The Hornets really lack perimetering scoring outside of Greivis Vasquez.  Who is more of a slasher.

Time to buy low on EG10 before he starts feeling 100% every single night.  Which will be sooner than later.

OFFER: Manu Ginobili. Arron Afflalo.

JOAKIM NOAH – C- CHI

Joakim went through a bad stretch where a cold really threw off his game.  He may say he is 100%, but I am not sold as going through a flu could take a full week or two to recover.  Even after you feel better.

Once Joakim starts to feel like his old-self.  Those 20+ consistent rebound nights will keep you singing.

OFFER: Tyson Chandler. J.J. Hickson

RUDY GAY – F – MEM

Rudy is too talented of a player to stay in a funk like this all season.  He is easily the most gifted athlete in the game, and can put up 20+ Points every night when he regains confidence in that jump shot.  Rudy is playing himself into a Brick City Theme song, and now is the time to add him.  Especially with a potential trade on the horizon which could only boost his value.

Either way, Rudy will get back to his vintage self.

OFFER: Chandler Parsons. Luol Deng.

MARCIN GORTAT – C – PHO

The Suns are a team searching for an identity.  While Jared Dudley and Goran Dragic have their nights, Marcin Gortat is the Rock of this team.  Now is a good time to buy low on the Suns center who should be a double-double machine every night.

Early on in the season his conditioning was an issue, now playing 35+ Minutes every game in January.  He is a rock solid #1 Fantasy Center for your team.

OFFER: Omer Asik. Tyson Chandler. J.J. Hickson.

  1. Hi Beastdome Nation/Munt,

Love the site. love coming here especially to read your articles on potential trades and pickups on the wire.

My Lineup is the following in a 12 man Head to Head League:

    Deron Williams
    Serge Ibaka
    Stephen Curry
    Serge Ibaka
    Wesley Matthews
    Eric Gordon
    Larry Sanders
    K Garnett
    Evan Turner
    Andre Iguodala
    Jameer Nelson
    Glen Daivs
    A Drummond
    E Ilyasova
    Evan Turner

ive picked up larry sanders and a drummond per your advice and in addition with serge ibaka, i got a locks on the blocks.

I recently picked up ilyasova because people were saying under the new coach as a starter there is a chance his production will pick up. I dropped carl landry for him so i think its worth it.

trying to shop old man kevin garnett around but no takers. What would be a good trade for him?

I got offered rudy gay for iguodala. Worth it? or do you think i can get gay for less with anyone on my team?

ray allen is on the wire. is anyone on my team worth dropping to pick him up?

Jameer nelson for ricky rubio worth it? losing some 3 pt production and health risk with rubio and missing piece of kevin love is concerning.

who on my team would be good offers for the players mentioned above?

    Thanks a lot!

Ill try to contribute as much as possible in the comments section with my limited knowledge.

Once again thanks everyone especially you Munt with your awesome articles and truly a different take from the mainstream fantasy pros/masses

  2. I just trade jason kidd, reddick, and anthony davis for aldridge and jeff teague, how did i do?

  3. Yeah, way to ride Kidd’s recent boost with Felton coming back soon and Davis for Aldridge is a winner any day.

  4. huge score for you. reddick garbage doesnt even matter. teague>kidd and aldridge>davis.

  5. depends on your situation and what else is on the waiver wire. need to elaborate. how are you doing in each of the categories relative to other players in your league? i.e. do you need help in certain categories. Can you spare a roster spot. etc.

  6. If you can still get Gay or Iguodala for KG. That is a trade you must take. KG is only getting older, and Sullinger is only getting better.

Ray Allen is never a guy to trust simply because the Heat offense can only support 3 players.

    Keep Jameer.

Through my Rankings you will see players to add/drop and trade for all the time.

    Welcome to the NATION.
