WEEK 12 ARTICLES:

(DAILY SHOW)..Coming Soon.
(PLAYER UPDATE/TRADE ANALYZER)

This article will rank all the players for people in daily fantasy leagues.  I will rank each player by position number and tier.  If you want more information about each player read Mid-Season Reports.

You can use these rankings to help you decide if you are going to bet on any of the games.  Typically the better fantasy options are going to lead their teams to victories. *Not always.

If you have any daily lineup questions feel free to ask.  For all general questions you can post in the DAILY SHOW.

This Page Will Be Updated Daily

Updated: 3/18/12 (1:00AM PCT).

  1. Hi, Muntradamus!

Here’s my current lineup. Latest addition is Ariza, replacing the injured Rubio in my roster. However, I have thoughts of getting Mike Dunleavy and dropping Ariza. Also, thinking of getting Wes Matthews if Jamal got traded. or Sessions if he lands in a team in need of a point guard. Any inputs?

    PG – Chris Paul
    SG – Manu Ginobili
    SF – Danilo Gallinari
    PF – Blake Griffin
    C – Al Jefferson
    G – Jose Calderon
    F – Chris Bosh
    U – Gortat
    U – Serge Ibaka
    U – Ryan Anderson
    B – DJ Augustin
    B – Marcus Thornton
    B – Trevor Ariza

    Thanks and regards.

  2. Welcome to the Beast Dome community. You have a very solid team with players you do not really want to drop.

If there were two droppables at the moment, I would say it is D.J. and Ariza. Hold onto both for now, especially with the fact D.J. will need to score more with no Maggette.

Dunleavy would be a great add if you need the help now. Ariza is a bit more versatile, but Dunleavy is much more solid with Points and 3PTM. Wes Matthews does not look like a player that will break into that 20 Point per game range even with a Crawford trade. The Blazers are too stacked. Sessions would be a true fantasy stud if he went to a team like the Lakers.

Keep an eye on all three players, I do expect D.J. to get better. Ariza is a bit too valuable to drop for those options you listed. For now at least.

  3. thanks for the input… j-rich is in our waivers… should I take a risk on him?…

  4. With J.J. Reddick doing so well, I would rather take the risk on Nate Robinson or Klay Thompson. Jason Richardson is a few bad games away when he returns to being in a complete time share with J.J.

  5. Jamal Crawford’s fantasy value can be elite, or nothing. After all the trades, he should get more PT which will make him a more consistent option. I personally like Nate Robinson more, but if I had to trust one for the long term, I would have to go with Crawford. If Crawford plays 30+ Minutes a night he can be a fantasy beast. With that being said, Nate Robinson is a bit safer at this very moment.

  6. Hey M,

    Here is my team:

    G
    Jeremy Lin
    Jerryd Bayless
    Nate Robinson
    Kyle Lowry
    Ramon Sessions

    SF
    Evan Turner
    Antawn Jamison
    Corey Maggette
    Thaddeus Young

    PF/C
    Blake Griffin
    Chris Kaman
    Nikola Pekovic
    Javale McGee
    Ryan Anderson
    Al Harrington
    Bismack Biyombo

I made some changes from before. My trade deadline has passed, so I can’t really make any moves in that department. I dropped Ricky Rubio for Goran Dragic, but then I dropped Dragic for Ramon Sessions. I was hoping that Sessions would be traded, and now he has. I am hoping to ride his great potential come fantasy playoffs time.

Another move I made is dropping Caron Butler for Jerryd Bayless. I am sure you noted Jerryd’s performance tonight…he just exploded in every way. I can only see good things. My hope is that they don’t bench him when Calderon returns. Honestly, Butler has been decent for the most part, so I was really hesitant to drop him, but I think it really had to be done. He has been playing bad, and the addition of Nick Young probably doesn’t help his chances.

Finally, I dropped Marshon Brooks for Nate Robinson. Nate has been going off lately, and Marshon has struggled even though he has been one of the only offensive option for several games (with Williams/Lopez injury).

What do you think of my team? I am totally struggling in 3s right now. Before the last two weeks, I was dominant in 3s. But Kyle Lowry and Ricky Rubio are injured, and players like Ryan Anderson and Javale Mcgee are inconsistent. What more do you think I can do? Do you like my chances right now? Fantasy waiver wire studs like Klay Thompson have already been picked up.

I am still in first place, but this week I am literally getting blown out 7-2, by an owner who I think can challenge (along with me) for the crown. I think me getting blown out has a lot to do with Lowry and Rubio being out of action, plus all the changes I have made this week. But I want to win and get better, obviously. What do you think about my chances? Can you tell me all the players who I can drop without worrying too much? If you were to ask me, I would say: Al Harrington, Thaddeus Young, and MAYBE even Jeremy Lin.

  7. Sorry about the length of the post, btw. I get really into fantasy bball sometimes haha.

  8. Love the long Post, and I will give you the most thorough answer I can to help your team out.

Nice move with Sessions, he should save your season. At least until Lowry returns.

Bayless should still see 30 Minutes a game, even if it is off the bench. The Raptors are not afraid to move DeRozan to the SF spot and bench Johnson to open up PT for others. Good move with dropping Butler for him.

Good move dropping Brooks, Gerald Wallace is another threat to take away shot attempts. His value was nice for the first two weeks of the season. Nate will be a tiny beast all season long.

You cannot drop Jeremy Lin, he is still being productive. If Baron Davis plays more minutes than Lin in 2/3 games, then I would worry and you can drop him.

Al Harrington is close to waiver wire material. Kenneth Faried is blowing up, while Wilson Chandler also stands to play some PF. Harrington has been hot, but if Faried starts seeing 30+ Minutes. Then you can drop Al. (You’ve had him this whole season haven’t you?) Bravo for patience.

Thaddeus Young, although inconsistent he is still a great NBA player. His fantasy value may be okay, but it is strong enough where another owner would pick him up if he was a FA. I would keep him for the long run unless he started seeing 20-22 Minutes a game consistently.

Your team is solid, I like your chances. I do not know your competition, but your team looks like it has the tools to win a title. Minus Blake Griffin being your star, he is definitely 2nd/3rd round value next season. Once Ryan Anderson & Antawn Jamison gets going again, your team should be fine in the 3PTM category. McGee looks to be a better fantasy option in a new environment.

Players to Pick up and beat the Pack:
    Tristan Thompson- New Starting Center.
Alonzo Gee- Nice gap filler if you need a solid 15-6 every night.
D.J. Augustin- Probably owned, if not he has to put up strong games like Saturday for the Bobcats to stay competitive.
Jared Dudley- I am assuming he is owned, just making sure.
Jameer Nelson- I am assuming he is owned, just making sure.

If you list the FA’s in your league I can help you out a bit more for your 3PT problems.
