2 START PITCHER

JAMIE GARCIA – TOR

Garcia has two nice matchups this week owned at just 13% of CBS Leagues. First he goes back to his NL East Roots and faces the NY Mets. Mets are struggling hitting the ball and if Garcia brings his stuff, 7 Ks is possible in that start. Bruce is banged up, Conforto is heating up but still struggling on the season and YoYo hasn’t crushed the ball in ages. Good timing facing no Todd Frazier.

After the friendly matchup against the Mets, he returns to Toronto to get all the run support he could ask for against Daniel Megden and the Oakland A’s. A’s are not a scary offense at all and Garcia could go lights out and pick up a huge pitching week.

RP

TYLER CLIPPARD – TOR

The job for the BlueJays Closer is between Oh and Clippard. Clippard has been rock steady pretty much his entire career and he deserves the opportunity to close first for the Jays. While Oh has been just as dominant this season with an ERA of 1.45 vs. Clippard at 1.33. Clippard is more clutch and has pitched in the AL East prior to this with the Yankees a couple years ago. With Clippard going 1/1 in attempt 1, it would be surprising to see the Jays mess around until he drops the ball.

Clippard has a very short leash, but if you are looking to ride a dragon for a week. This is your guy. If you miss out on Clippard and have the extra space, Oh will still be pitching a lot this.

INF/OF

DEVIN MESORACO – C – NYM

This trade has revitalized the career of Mesoraco who is now starting to play everyday. Devin has 15+ HR potential as the catcher for the Mets and if you are struggling at the catcher position, look no further. People might say he did not play everyday with the Reds, the reason for that was Barnhart was a Gold Glove catcher.

HERNAN PERZ – 2B/3B/OF – MIL

The sky is falling for Jonathan Villar. The BEAST DOME Sleeper pick, only one that has not gone well, is starting to hit the bench daily despite hitting nearly .275 as well as the co-leader in SBs for the 2B position. Perez has been getting the starts latelty after Eric Sogard was sent down, then Nick Franklin got injured and may miss a month.

Perez has outstanding power and can easily hit 15+ HRs if he plays everyday. Do not forget he stole over 30 Bases a couple years ago. This guy can do it all and he is a Must-Add especially for those who own Villar. I would try to roster them both and you can wait and see what happens with Villar. He is too good to be benched, which is why he is still getting 2 at bats per game.

JOSE BAUTISTA – OF/3B – ATL

The ownership is still too low at less than 35%. He hit his 1st HR of the season and those numbers will continue to rise as he gets more and more comfortable on his comeback trail.

CHRIS DAVIS – 1B – BAL

2 HRs this week, he will be owned in more than 80% of CBS leagues by the end of the month, add him while he still owned in just 41% of CBS leagues.
