WEEK 6 WAIVER WIRE

2 START PITCHER

JEREMY HELLICKSON

@SD/@ARI

Hellickson has been a pretty solid pitcher over his career. Was supposed to be a star in the Rays system back in his day, but the AL East Ball parks quickly knocked him in his place. Pitching in the NL, Hellickson is a starting pitcher you can rely on when the matchup is nice.

This week he has two good matchups against two NL West teams. The NL West has become a joke of a divison as far as hitting goes. Hellickson is also on a strong Nationals team that would likely dominate the NL West if they were in it themselves. Hellickson should rack up at least 9 Ks, a strong ERA, and potentially 2 wins.

Add Hellickson as your stream.

INF/OF

CHRIS DAVIS – BAL – 1B

Davis has been a BUST so far in the season, but he can quickly turn that around. Now batting nearly .200, Davis has raised his batting average over .100 points. Davis has yet to get the power going, but all it takes is one little hot streak and that can easily push Chris Davis past Freddie Freeman in HRs. Do not give up on the 2x Defending HR Champion in the last 5 years. Season is too young.

BRANDON CRAWFORD – SFG – SS

Last week I wrote about Brandon Crawford, and now he is tearing the cover off the ball. 1 HR/7 RBI hitting .500 on the week. Crawford is a SS you can rely for a good amount of RBIs, potentially 80 if everything goes his way. Giants are stronger than ever, and Crawford is in the middle of the back of the lineup.

AARON ALTHERR – PHI – OF

Altherr was struggling to see consistent PT. Phillies have decided he is their guy, and he is their future. Phillies are having him bat cleanup and he has the size to hit 30+ HRs in a season. The small Phillies ball park will turn into big things, Altherr is a star in the making and letting him slip out of your grasps like the 66% of leagues he is a FA in, could be a HUGE mistake.

JOSE BAUTISTA – ATL – 3B/OF

Jose is playing everyday for the Braves and he is worth the pickup in all leagues. The guy was a stud his entire career, had one bad year and now everyone is pretending like he has not accomplished anything in his career. Jose is mad and he is going to be playing with revenge on his mind. Why not take the leap, I have been on Jose since the Braves signed him.

JOC PEDERSON – LAD – OF

Joc once had superstar written all over him, Dodgers decided to crowd their OF and not give him enough PT. With Puig on the DL for at least another week, this is the last chance to rent Joc and see what you can get out of him. His power is definitely a potential 30+ one day. Could get you 3+ HRs next week.
