BEAST ALERT (SERANTHONY DOMINGUEZ)

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

Seranthony Dominguez literally fell from the sky. Hector Neris had the Phillies closer job on hold despite a couple blown saves early on. Out of nowhere in May, the Phillies called up Seranthony Dominguez and they may have themselves the very next Aroldis Chapman.

Seranthony throws a Fastball at 98 MPH, and a nasty slider that breaks from one side of the plate, to the other. A pitch that also drops to 86 MPH. He reminds me of a righty Aroldis Chapman and he is still available in over 50% of CBS Leagues.

Seranthony was dominant in May, 13 INN/2 Saves/15 K/2 Hits/0 ER! Those numbers do not get much better and the reason why he is now MUST-OWN is how the Phillies pitched their bullpen leading up to Sunday’s game (Game has not started). Hector Neris threw the 7th INN of a Friday night game where the Phillies were down 4-0. Luis Garcia threw an empty 8th INN on Saturday when the Phillies were trailing 2-0. The Phillies are clearly saving Seranthony to be their closer.

Seranthony has gone the 8th and 9th INN of both save opportunities, which is an interesting X-Factor that no closers currently have. Best part about Seranthony, he has an electric fresh arm that is ready to strike batters out left and right with dominating pitches that will lead the batters frozen in their shoes.

Phillies Manager Gabe Kapler was talking about what Phillies pitchers would make the All-Star team this year, he said if Seranthony Dominguez keeps it up, he should definitely be an All-Star. Phillies are paving a path with more saves opportunities.
