Fantasy Baseball James Paxton:

Action Paxton (2014)

BEAST DOME NATION.

A week from this time today, we will have a full slate of baseball games to watch that actually count.  To make your opening day even better, I will give you a starting pitcher that you can get excited about later in the week.  Look at the debut of this pitcher on your squad as opening day Part 2.

Fantasy Baseball James Paxton:

Action Paxton (2014)

It is mandatory to find all the Sleeper Staring Pitchers in your Fantasy Baseball draft.  If you were a VIP member and you had your draft two weeks ago or later, you were to grab Michael Pineda who I had ranked at #40, while other experts did not even expect him to land the SP job.  For those of you who still will not splurge the $10 to get all of my Rankings, I will give you another sleeper starting pitcher.

JAMES PAXTON – SP – SEA

Late last season when Seattle had zero chance of making a playoff spot.  They called up a prospect who was struggling in the minors with a 4.45 ERA.  James Paxton.  When Paxton reached the majors, he turned into a CY Young candidate racking up 4 starts with a 1.50 ERA, as well as 21Ks in 24 INN.

1.50 ERA with a 3-0 record and 21 Ks is what you want from Jered Weaver in the span of 4 starts.

What if I told you James Paxton is owned in only 1.5% of Yahoo Leagues and continues to be a forgotten man in nearly every draft this Spring.

Paxton was having an incredible Spring before slipping in his last start.  He still has an ERA at 3.18.  He is still racking up Ks consistently enough to be relevant (6.4/9), and he has only allowed 1 HR this Spring.  We are talking about a pitcher who easily led people to their Championships in the Playoffs last season, and is still pitching great to start off 2014.

It is safe to say, after predicting Chris Tillman well above all the Experts last season, and he was able to win 16 Games.  James Paxton is going to help you in a different way, as an ERA specalist.  I do not see his ERA being 1.50 this season, but it is definitely safe to say you will be seeing a lot of Quality Starts racked up by Paxton in 2014.

With some Experts ranking him as the #126 pitcher, you will be able to land Paxton easily if you target him correcrtly in the late rounds.

My first full season as a Beastdome.com VIP with Muntradamus was a total success. I finally won a fantasy baseball championship!!!

Muntradamus was there to help me every step of the way this season. Draft day (the most nerve wracking day of the season for me) Muntradamus had a plan(Chris Davis!!!!!!!!!!!), and was there to guide me through every pick via Skype screen sharing. This VIP feature is worth the price of the entire VIP package to me. After draft day I felt very comfortable with the team he helped me build.”

With Muntradamus’ help i always felt reassured that I was making the right moves with my team. The inevitability of player injuries is there every season, and you need to quickly grab replacements that will keep your season’s momentum going. I had a few key players get injured over the course of the season. Muntradamus was pretty much always available through Skype chat to help me keep my team strong. I find that the hardest aspect of playing daily fantasy baseball is deciding which players on your team can be waived for those replacements that will make your team better. For the second season in a row he helped me grab a few crucial speed guys down the final stretch of the season in order to gain ground in stolen bases. This ultimately won me my championship.

I really can’t praise him enough for his help. Muntradamus is clearly obsessed with playing fantasy sports, and helping me win a championship became his obsession as well.

THANK YOU, “MUNTS”!!!
