FANTASY BASEBALL TESTIMONIALS 2012

– REV

“I just want to say thanks Muntradamus, you will never know how much you’ve helped me all season long. When I first came to this site, it was just to gather some help and move on. I never knew I would stay around all season. Every week, there was new info for me to use in all 5 of the leagues I played in. Then there were those timeless one on one times when you suggested a player that turned out to be a beast all season long. And even when you didn’t answer my question, your suggestions to others helped me. You know your stuff man, lol. I also want to thank all the members, Beast Dome Nation, namely Blue, who also helped me a lot. And now that my baseball season is or has come to a end, it’s on to Football, and you’ve haven’t missed a beat there either. So, thanks again. I ended the season with 2 Championship teams and 3 – 2nd place teams. In one league I was in first place since week 5 and stayed there all season long. That’s how much you info helped me. Not to many people can go through a season like that, IMO. So, thanks dude, you are the man. May you continue to be successful and I’ll definitely be here soaking up all your wisdom. God Bless you, and thanks again.”

FORGOT TO TOUCH FIRST UPDATE (SAT)

Since Friday is the biggest Day in Daily Fantasy Baseball, Forgot To Touch First will not be published on that day.  There will be another article instead, more on that when we get there.  But here is the action from Thursday and Friday.

Jose Reyes out 1-3 Months with ankle injury.  Emilio Bonifacio is a Must-Own/Must-Start Fantasy option as he could possibly slide back to the SS position full-time.

Zach Greinke’s injury opens up the door to Chris Capuano who I originally ranked inside the Top 60 SPs before getting demoted to the minors.  Capuano is a great start for his game against the Padres, if you want to stream someone, stream him.

Drew Storen made sure that there was no closer controversy after blowing the save Friday.  Rafael Soriano was struggling a little bit early on, but after getting so many saves on back-to-back days the Nationals gave Storen the 8th and 9th INN.  He could not handle the 2 run lead.

Kenley Jansen picked up the save for the Dodgers Thursday.  He has yet to give up an ER, check to see if he gets the next call as well. League is pitching fine, but Jansen is a whole other BEAST.

Kyuji Fujikawa gave up 3 ER and blew the save for the Cubs Friday.  Luckily his offense battled back for him to get the W.  Marmol still has ways to go to get the closer job back, but Fujikawa will speed up the process if he repeats this performance again.

Shelby Miller 1 Hits the Brewers with 8 Ks in 7 INN.  Time to add him if you need pitching help, his upside is too great with the potent Cardinals offense.

Mets Score 16 Runs Friday!  Vance Worley is off the Fantasy Radar for good.

  1. What should I do with Ryan Madson? Should I drop him? Try trading him? Here are my current pitchers. Dropping him would give me a spot to add a speculative guy or stream a pitcher. Also still trying to trade Arencibia for a closer or him and one of my SP for a struggling ace.

    SP
    Tim Hudson
    Lance Lynn
    Ian Kennedy
    Max Scherzer
    C.J. Wilson
    Jered Weaver
    Shelby Miller

    RP
    Jim Henderson
    Casey Janssen
    Ryan Madson

  2. Also, I only have one DL spot but a bunch of injured players: Ryan Madson, Jered Weaver, David Ortiz, Erick Aybar, and Hanley Ramirez.

  3. hold everyone on your dl exceot you can try to package madson, arencibia and another rp, try to get one good player, if not just play the wire or wait, the season is long. hold all sp
