Like I mentioned in the last post, from time-to-time I will do hitter rankings on top of the pitcher rankings. Since Friday is a premiere day for Fantasy Baseball where all the stars from every position play. Here are the rankings for tomorrow, enjoy.
One thing I do want to note. I am very surprised that Kevin Millwood has managed to find his way to the “Good Start” category for pitching. Very,very odd/impressive.

Sticking to the theme of picking safe games. The Rangers offense should absolutely feast on Christian Friedrich. They are happy to return home after a weird series against Padres pitching that limited that offense to what they are capable of. Friedrich does make a habbit of having poor performances, and this one could get ugly. Roy Oswalt will also be making his season debut, and you can bet your two cents that the Rangers will do whatever it takes to win that game and grab a lot of momentum. If you want an insurance play, I would bet on the Over at 10.5. The only way the Rockies win this game, is if they score 5 runs off of Oswalt alone. Friedrich will be lucky to leave with anything less than 4 ER. The bullpen will do the rest of the damage to bring it to the over.
