DRAFT GUIDE

VALUE UP

Derrek Holland (SP) RANGER

Two solid starts, I am a buyer with all that run support.

Matt Latos (SP) RED

Reds gave up a lot to get him, he had two quality starts this week.

Felix Hernandez (SP) MARINERS

Two dominating starts, worth the high pick.

Brian Wilson (RP) GIANTS

Looking like the beard of old.

Vernon Wells (OF) ANGELS

9 RBIs in one week, ready to bounce back.

Daniel Hudson (SP) D-BACKS

Huge week looking to be big.

Ricky Porcello (SP) TIGERS

Quality starts over this Spring will lead to easy wins.

Mariano Rivera (RP) YANKEES

Still scoreless this Spring.

Jon Lester (SP) RED SOX

Looking flawless this Spring, run support will be there.

Addison Reed (RP) WHITE SOX

Pitching a lot, will probably open up as setup man.

Vance Worley (SP) PHILLIES

Worley is one of the best pitchers this Spring.

James Shields (SP) D-RAYS

Shields is ready to continue his dominance.

Brandon Morrow (SP) B-JAYS

Morrow is going to get a lot of K’s and wins if he pitches as well as he is during the Spring.

Josh Beckett (SP) RED SOX

The quality starts continue for Beckett.

Vinnie Pestano (RP) INDIANS

Could be the surprise RP of the year, especially if he opens up at closer.

Hiroki Kuroda (SP) YANKEES

Bounce back week, looking good.

Dan Haren (SP) ANGELS

Looked flawless in his last start with 7 Ks in 3 Innings.

Ryan Raburn (2B) TIGERS

2 HRs this week to push his total to 5 for the Spring.  Easy 25+ if fulltime guy.

Edwin Jackson (SP) NATIONALS

Solid Spring, should benefit pitching for Washington.

Delmon Young (OF) TIGERS

The HR’s and RBI’s keep coming.  30-100 season is possible batting 5th.

Brett Lawrie (3B) B-JAYS

Not a lot of power, but now 5 SBs this spring.  25 SBs this season seems realistic.

J.P. Arencibia (C) B-JAYS

Huge Spring, my favorite catcher.

Dan Uggla (2B) BRAVES

Catching fire.

Jemile Weeks (2B) ATHLETICS

2 HRs in one game really adds a lot of potential to what should be a lock for 40 SBs.

Ian Kinsler (2B) RANGERS

2 HRs in first weekend of action.  30/30 season on tap.

Jimmy Rollins (SS) PHILLIES

Looking really fresh this spring with power and speed.

Albert Pujols (1B) ANGELS

Locked and loaded, 3 HRs in one week.

Matt Holiday (OF) CARDNIALS

Needs to carry his team, 2 HRs over the weekend shows he has it.

Jason Heyward (OF) BRAVES

First Grand Slam, then SB.  Ready to rebound after shoulder problems last season.

Tim Lincecum (SP) GIANTS

Two dominant starts shows he is ready to dominante.

Aroldis Chapman (SP/RP) REDS

He may get that starter spot sooner than we think.  Bailey and Leake are pitching themselves into the minors.

VALUE DOWN

Matt Garza (SP) CUBS

Hit or miss every start.  Add bad run support and you’re looking at a bad season.

Cliff Lee (SP) PHILLIES

Not looking so hot this spring.

Jonny Venters (RP) BRAVES

Giving up an ER in just about every appearance.

Jeremy Hellickson (SP) D-RAYS

Having a very rough spring.

Homer Bailey/ Mike Leake (SP) REDS

One of them will end up in the minors sooner than later.  Chapman is coming up.

Carlos Marmol (RP) CUBS

Another wild appearance, I am staying away.

Wandy Rodriguez (SP) ASTROS

Got dominated.  We saw it too often last year to be okay with it during the Spring.

NOTES:

Ryan Roberts- Stole 2 Bases in one game.  20/20 season on top.

Dee Gordon- Continues to steal basses at will.
