WEEK 12 RECAP HAIKUS

 

BUFFALO BILLS

Ryan Fitzpatrick could only get the ball to Stevie Johnson.
Stevie showed up in the great matchup.
C.J. Spiller forgot to score the TD.
Fred Jackson should be on your bench until he gets touches again.
Scott Chandler saw Lee Smith steal his TD.
Donald Jones can go on your bench.
Bills D/ST gaining momentum for the best stretch of the season. Mario Williams is back.

MIAMI DOLPHINS

Ryan Tannehill is inconsistent as they come.
Reggie Bush showed some old school moves.
Daniel Thomas looked good with the Dolphins offense moving.
Davone Bess led the way with 145 Yards.
Brian Hartline will have better days.
Dolphins D/ST did well against the run.

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

Tom Brady reminded us why he was a #1 pick.
Stevan Ridley continues to do damage, live with the Vereen punches.
Shane Vereen is very unpredictable, but a good RB#3 in 14 Team leagues.
Julian Edelman was a star on Thanksgiving. Expect him to be okay.
Wes Welker is going to have to step it up.
Brandon Lloyd will have his breakout game when he’s on your bench.
Aaron Hernandez still not 100% will be soon enough.
Patriots D/ST looked ELITE in a great matchup.

NEW YORK JETS

Mark Sanchez outscored Aaron Rodgers this week in Fantasy Football.
Shonn Greene is making his owners green when Bilal Powell steals all the TDs.
Jeremy Kerley is a target machine for Sanchez.
Dustin Keller got his garbage TD late in the game.
Jets D/ST had no chance against the Patriots.

HOUSTON TEXANS

Matt Schaub is playing well in games he should be.
Arian Foster continues to prove why he is #1.
Justin Forsett is making Ben Tate owners worry who the handcuff is.
Andre Johnson can only do well when the Texans let Schaub throw.
Owen Daniels fought off Garrett Graham this week.
But then comes James Casey who had more receptions.
Texans D/ST missed Joesph.

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

Andrew Luck continues to come up short.
Vick Ballard was not impressive.
Donald Brown will be back in the mix.
Reggie Wayne continues to be a target monster.
Dwayne Allen got his targets, Fleener returns next week.
Colts D/ST improving so slightly.

JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

Chad Henne continues to play well. Titans was not a tough matchup.
Jalen Parmele breifly left the game with an injury to see Rashad Jennings steal the TD.
Maurice Jones-Drew could be back next week.
Justin Blackmon is looking like a dominant rookie again.
Cecil Shorts getting TDs like it’s nothing.
Marcedes Lewis is a viable #2 TE.
JAX D/ST stepped up in the redzone.

TENNESSEE TITANS

Jake Locker failing in the redone.
Chris Johnson did not breakout enough long runs.
Nate Washington saw the most targets, bobbled a TD.
Jared Cook failed to score but saw enough targets for 2 TEs.
Kenny Britt saw fewer targets than both players and Kendall Wright.
But got the TD.
Titans D/ST getting to the QB more and more.

CLEVELAND BROWNS

Brandon Weeden does what he can with the worst WR group in the NFL.
Trent Richardson continues to show 1st round value.
Josh Gordon led the team in targets with 7, not worth starting.
Jordan Cameron got in the endzone.
Browns D/ST showed up for their home crowd.

PITTSBURGH STEELERS

Charlie Batch was nothing special at all.
Big Ben could return Week 13.
All 4 Steelers RBs put the ball on the ground.
None are RB#3 worthy.
Mike Wallace was shut down by Joe Haden.
Antonio Brown could return Week 13.
Emmanuel Sanders would be waiver wire worthy.
Heath Miller was the safety option.
Steelers D/ST was decent but not great.

BALTIMORE RAVENS

Joe Flacco was nothing until the 4th quarter.
Ray Rice got all of his yards towards the end of the game.
Torrey Smith started to heat up in the 4th quarter and OT.
Anquan Boldin saw 8 targets but did not do much.
Dennis Pitta saved his day with a late TD.
Ravens D/ST buckled down on the road.

CINCINNATI BENGALS

Andy Dalton is playing like a top 5 QB.
Benjarvus Green-Ellis is having great games lately.
A.J. Green lost his TD streak, still a monster.
Mohamed Sanu was my #25 WR if you caught it.
Jermaine Gresham got a late TD to salvage his day.
Bengals D/ST played well in a good matchup.

SAN DIEGO CHARGERS

Phillip Rivers slowed down after a great start.
Ryan Mathews should have done better.
DNX #RideorDie is a great WR to own he’s a stud.
Malcolm Floyd loves the little attention he is getting.
Antonio Gates had to stop the Blitz.
Chargers D/ST was good all game until 4th and 29.

DENVER BRONCOS

Peyton Manning was not on the field as much as his owners wanted him to be.
Knowshon Moreno (Tebow666) was a great call.
Demariyus Thomas always a good bet for a good game.
Erick Decker losing targets to Brandon Stokley.
Jacob Tamme was the better TE once again for Peyton.
Broncos D/ST. ELITE but did not do as well as owners expected.
AFC Champions. 

OAKLAND RAIDERS

Carson Palmer train came to an end.
Marcel Reece picked up a lot of his yards in the 2nd half.
Darren McFadden should be back next week.
Denarius Moore made his lone catch count.
Darrius Heyward-Bey is a matchup play at best.
Brandon Myers always consistent 4-7 points. This week 3.
Raiders D/ST got dominated.

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

Brady Quinn should not be owned.
Jamaal Charles had a good game because the Chiefs stayed in it.
Dwayne Bowe 12 Targets and barely a WR#3 with Quinn at QB.
KC D/ST looked good, but not a good unit.

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

Michael Vick may return next week.
Bryce Brown was dominant and will likely start again.
Jeremy Maclin gets a small boost with Desean out.
Desean Jackson will likely miss a game after taking a huge hit.
Brent Celek not really worth trusting.
Eagles D/ST BUST of the season.

DALLAS COWBOYS

Tony Romo continues to be a second half Jesus.
Felix Jones was saved by a late TD.
Dez Bryant took over when Miles Austin got injured.
Jason Witten and Tony Romo sit at the same lunch table guaranteed.
Dallas D/ST is starting to unravel a bit.

NEW YORK GIANTS

Eli Manning was clutch in the redzone.
Andre Brown was seeing a lot of carries. Broke his leg.
David Wilson now has some nice flash speed and is a good RB to own.
Ahmad Bradshaw is clearly the guy, but the Giants want to pace his carries.
Victor Cruz kept owners Salsa Dancing.
Hakeem Nicks saw more redzone throws than any WR I have ever seen.
Martellus Bennett is an inconsistent play.
Giants D/ST always plays well during the stretch.

WASHINGTON REDSKINS

RGIII continues to dominate the game.
Alfred Morris gets a big boost when RGIII is hot.
Pierre Garcon is back to being a confident #2 WR.
No other Redskin player is worth owning.
Redskins D/ST is beat up again.

MINNESOTA VIKINGS

Christian Ponder is not a good QB with no Harvin.
Kyle Rudolph is a machine with no Harvin.
Adrian Peterson continues to go into BEAST MODE.
Vikings D/ST looked terrible on the road thanks to their offense.

GREEN BAY PACKERS

Aaron Rodgers had a game to make fantasy owners forget.
James Starks and Alex Green cancel each other out.
Jordy Nelson 61 Yard TD was best play for the team.
Randall Cobb only had 4 Receptions.
James Jones did not see a target.
JerMichael Finley took over his role.
Packers D/ST is banged up.

CHICAGO BEARS

Jay Cutler helped this offense.
Brandon Marshall was seeing enough targets for 4 WRs.
Matt Forte down again, Michael Bush the ultimate handcuff is a must-own.
No other Bear is worth owning.
Bears D/ST loved the matchup with no Harvin.

DETROIT LIONS

Matthew Stafford is fire and ice all season.
Mikel Leshoure saved his day with the goal line TD. Inconsistent as well.
Joique Bell re-emerged out of the shadows to cloud the RB situation.
Megatron continues to dominate.
Ryan Broyles has WR#2 potential at this rate. He has to keep it up.
Brandon Pettigrew is back to a shade of what he once was.
Lions D/ST is breakable.

ATLANTA FALCONS

Matt Ryan was terrible in the redzone.
JacQuizz Rodgers is a better play than Michael Turner.
Michael Turner saved his day with a late TD.
Julio Jones is back in case you did not know.
Roddy White came up on the short end of things.
Tony Gonzalez did as well.
Falcons D/ST continues to do well against the pass.

CAROLINA PANTHERS

Cam Newton looked ELITE.
Steve Smith is getting a lot of defensive attention.
Brandon LaFell caught a TD in back-t0-back games.
Greg Olsen continues to see less targets.
Jonathan Stewart injured, we will learn more.
DeAnglo Williams is still a threat to PT.
Panthers D/ST disappointed in good matchup.

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

Josh Freeman stalled in the redzone.
Doug Martin did not explode, but he got the goal line TDs.
Mike Williams did nothing against a tough ATL secondary.
Vincent Jackson did nothing against a tough ATL secondary.
Dallas Clark stepping up as of late.
Tiquan Underwood is an interesting WR.
TDs A Make Them Dance.

TB D/ST is not strong against the pass.

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

Drew Brees did well against the 49ers. Hard to expect top 5.
Chris Ivory was the best RB for the Saints.
Mark Ingram saw the most carries.
Darren Sproles saved his day with a 35 Yard reception on the last play.
Marques Colston scored a TD and returned from a bad hit.
Lance Moore was a good target but dropped a TD.
Jimmy Graham saw David Thomas steal his TD.
Saints D/ST continues to improve.

ARIZONA CARDINALS

Ryan Lindley will never QB again.
Beanie Wells is a goal line vulture.
Larry Fitzgerald needs a QB.
Andre Roberts name does not exist without a QB.
Cardinals D/ST looked terrible and is a very inconsistent group.

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

Colin Kaepernick is a great low-end #1 QB moving forward.
Frank Gore saved his day “what should have been a big game” with a TD.
But also had a TD called back.
Kendall Hunter could miss a few weeks.
Meaning Brandon Jacobs will take over goal line duties if he gets the #2 RB.
Michael Crabtree is not a consistent WR.
Vernon Davis never a consistent play.
49ers D/ST is the best in the business.

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Russell Wilson did all he can to save his team.
Because Marshawn Lynch was awful against the Dolphins Run D who are good at times.
Sidney Rice caught all three of his targets for 49 Yards.
Golden Tate led the way and is always a sneaky WR#3.
Seahawks D/ST is in for a huge downgrade if the suspensions hold up to Browner and Sherman.

ST. LOUIS RAMS

Sam Bradford made it look easy with 200 Yards/2 TDs in 17 pass attempts.
Steven Jackson is running harder than Marshawn Lynch theses days.
Danny Amendola was not himself but played anyways.
Lance Kendrick got a rare TD.
Chris Givens only did well because Danny was not playing.
Rams D/ST dominated Ryan Lindley.
