  1. My team
    Rg3 / freeman
    McCoy/Morris/vallard/Reece/Greene
    Cruz/Wallace/cobb/l Moore/ a Roberts
    Gates/Meyers
    Gostowski
    Broncos

I am 5-5 should i be trying to trade or sit on my team? Maybe who should in try to trade for? Thanks in advance

  2. We’ll get it in Beast Nation. I have faith. Speaking of faith- I have none in Jermichael Finley. Go with Scott Chandler homie,

  3. I would go with Chandler too. There are too many other weapons in GB. I don’t have any faith in Finley either.

  4. Should I try to trade AJ 3000 With the Texans looking like a early lock in the division. Even trade if so. Thanks folks.

  5. i send mcfadden, marcel reese, colston for cruz, bradshaw, greene? im leaning towards no but its close, i really would like to get cruz and i dont have faith in dmc coming back as soon as the coaches say. he also has spiller so maybe him instead of bradshaw?

  6. Ok Beast Nation, here it is:

I have Michael Vick and he’s been whacked…should I make this trade?

Trent Richardson for RG3 and Bradshaw?

  7. I have Aaron Rodgers and josh freeman on my team . Do you think it would b crazy to trade Rodgers for mike Williams which would give me the combo u were just talkin about

  8. damion…interesting choices DET would be out since they go against GB. I was going to go with Dallas over Clev for my team but Cinc looked so good against the Giants. It will depend on how KC looks tonight against Steelers and if Quinn will be named the starter for next week. If he is I’ll probable look to claim Cinc.

  9. Asking some general Advice, I’m 7-3-0 In a pretty close cut league. Trying to figure out how to go on rest of season and prepare for playoffs. I’m feeling my team is a bit shaky on WR position and possible at flex. Any suggestions for adds, trades etc?

    QB: Brees, Big ben
RB: Fred Jackson, Adrian Peterson, Rashad Jennings, Green-Ellis, Mendenhall
WR: Colston, Austin, Cobb, James Jones, Maclin
    TE: Graham
    K: Walsh
    Def: 49:ers

  10. Traded J.Charles+P.Harvin for McGahee+Cruz..my RB1 is R.Rice and I have S.Johnson as WR2 and Amendola WR3…good move?

My team for week 11 is now:

    QB: M:Stafford vs. GB
    WR: S.Johnson (vs. MIA) , D.Amendola (vs. NYJ), T.Young (vs. GB) , D.Avery (@NE) , E.Sanders (vs. BAL), V.Cruz (bye)
RB: R.Rice (@PIT), W.McGahee (vs. SD), J.Dwyer (vs. BAL), J.Bell (vs. GB), J.Rodgers (vs. ARI)
    TE: J.Witten (vs. CLE)
    K: S.Suisham (vs. BAL)
    DST: SF (vs. CHI)

    I have to start 1QB, 3WR, 2RB, TE, flex, K, DST

I’m thinking of starting S.Johnson, T.Young and E.Sanders as my three WR’s if A.Brown misses another game. And D.Avery as my flex….with Rice and McGahee as my starting RBs. If A.Brown is back, then I will start D.Avery as my WR3, but who should be my flex starter?

  11. Is Vernon Davis worth keeping on my roster of should I try to move him for someone more productive at another position? If I did this I would have to roll with WW TEs for the year probably….i.e. Joel Dresssen, Dwayne Allen, Logan Paulsen etc.

  12. Should I hold on to Ravens Def for the rest of the season as a backup? I have 49ers Def starting but they looked shaky yesterday.

  13. I need a bye week Rb this week. Joique Bell, Chris Ivory, Marcel Reese and Woodhead are available.

  14. I see no reason to keep BAL defense if you ave SF. You always can pick some defense with good matchup from waivers…and SF has more better matchups than bad ones. Baltimore defese is one of the worst in the league.

  15. Get Reece. He could be a huge difference maker the rest of the season if the injuries to Goodson and DMC linger.

  16. I need to play 2 of these WR’s and need some help choosing. James Jones, Steve Smith, Lance Moore, Mike Williams and Jeremy Maclin. Roddy White is my other WR but I have to play 3 WR’s in standard scoring league

  17. C Sizzle go with Reece. He’s played well the last 2 weeks and gets the chance to run all over the saints in week 11

  18. Duncan, have you tried to put Davis in a package deal to trade up for a better TE? Not sure what your roster situation is but scan the rosters of the teams in your league and see if you can make a trade

  19. Should Rashard Jennings be dropped or at the very least buried on the bench next week after his pitiful performance Thursday night?

  20. Trying to figure out where to go from here with this team. I’m just haning on to the 2nd slot of a 10 man league with the following roster.. I’m feeling a bit light on WR though and possibly the flex slot. I figured I’d post my lineup and see if you had any suggestions for waivers, trades or such.

    QB: Brees, Big Ben
    RB: F Jackson, A Peterson, R Jennings, Green-Ellis, R. Mendenhall
WR: M Colston, M austin, R Cobb, James Jones, J Maclin
    TE: Graham
    K Walsh
    DST: 49:ers

    Any suggestions?

  21. consider that Amendola was the only Ram that caught more than 3 passes vs the 49:ers. considering that he caught 11 of 12 targets on his first week back and should be warmed up I’m thinking it looks good vs the Jets next week as they are a complete mess

  22. Why would you not start Amendola? He’s almost match-up proof with the amount of targets he’s guaranteed to get. He’s worth at least a flex.

  23. Check the teams in your league in need for a TE and see what they have that might help your team. The few teams in my league are happy to role with the waiver instead of giving up a top RB/WR.

  24. Are you guys sure DMC is out week 11?
“News: Yahoo! Sports reports Raiders running back Darren McFadden, who sat out Week 10 at Baltimore, because of a high ankle sprain, is expected to return Week 11 vs. New Orleans.
Analysis: It’s not time to get excited just yet. This is just one report and it wasn’t overly convincing. High-ankle sprains are usually known to be problematic injuries and usually players don’t have quick recoveries. But we don’t know the extent of McFadden’s ankle sprain. Sure, there is always the chance he plays Week 11, but Fantasy owners will have to keep tabs his progress. If McFadden and Mike Goodson are out again Week 11, then Marcel Reece would be the Raiders’ running back to start in Fantasy. “

  25. Hey Beast Dome, would you drop Eli Manning to pick up Cedric Benson and run with Palmer ROS? Also would you drop niners and run with Broncos DEF ROS?

  26. I’ve got Reece and saw this re: DMC today on CBS:
News: Yahoo!
27. Week 11 might prove to be a tough matchup for Mathews. Denver has been slowing down RBs for the most part and if they fall behind (I think they will) the run will be abandoned. His week 6 performance of 22 carries and 76 yards might actually drop off. In week 6 Brown had 3 carries, then in game 8 Brown had 4 carries, game 9 was 6 carries, and week 10 Brown was back to 4 carries. Brown might be ramping up to steal more time. I thought the trend was pretty obvious until week 10 but anyways I think Brown has the better hands and will be in a bit more often in a game where Tampa might have to play from behind. If you don’t get rid of him maybe look elsewhere this week?

  28. I have
    Andre Johnson
    Miles Austin
    And mike Wallace

    But I have Sidney rice
And denarius Moore on my bench should I start them next week over and of those guys?

  29. Do IT! Cruz will put up more numbers than Colston. There are too many weapons in NO. Giants are in a slump and that WILL end. McFadden is out for now Reece is a back up. If McFadden is in Reece is out so technically you only get 1 RB. Bradshaw is and will be solid Green is meh but he has more potential than Reece in a bench position.

  30. Love this new section. Post something come back and see over three answers!

I would not trade Arian Foster the Texans have a great end of season schedule, I’m an Andre Johnson owner. SO STOP STEALING ALL MY POINTS!

  31. Not the worst trade, I think you can get a better QB than RGIII for Trent Richardson.

Might be able to get Matt Stafford.

  32. Sidney Rice has a bye week.

You should probably start Denarius Moore next week against the Saints. I would go by Muntz Rankings.

  33. Go after Eli Manning! He is a buy low target this week! I would even do RG3 for Eli straight up. Eli will save you in the playoffs!

  34. I’m right on the cusp of making the playoffs and have some really competitive match-ups the next few weeks.

Are there any strategic moves/trades you might suggest I could make to improve my team? I Feel like i have a lot of trade bait.

    QB: Tony Homo, Carson Palmer
RB: Ray Rice, Rashad Jennings, Leshoure, Vick Ballard
WR: B Marshall, Larry Fitz, Steve Smith, Torrey Smith, Mike Williams, James Jones
    TE: J Graham
    K: Blair Walsh
    Def: Dolphins

If anyone can help me put together a trade package for a better QB, RB2, or Def let me know!

    Thanks Beasters

  35. Need a QB, I’m an Eli owner I can afford to deal Ridley or reggie bush and Andre Johnson or Mike Wallace. What kind of value should I expect to get for either one of the RBs packaged with one of the receivers and who should I look to move

  36. I’d consider Moore over Miles Austin. Andre Johnson was getting his production up, notwithstanding last night’s bad weather game against Chicago. And Wallace should be getting more targets with Brown out.

  37. Jac has Ten week 12, might be the only reason to keep him, the ? of the day is will MJD be back by then?? With Hou week 11, my plan is to drop him. I grabbed Beanie for his Week 12 STL matchup.

  38. My RBs = Trent Richardson, CJ, F-Jax, and Kendall Hunter.

CJ is on bye. F-Jax is out with a concussion. I don’t really want to roll with Kendall Hunter at RB2 against Chicago.

    Waiver wire options:
    Daniel Thomas @ Buf.
    Danny Woodhead vs. Ind.
    James Starks @ Det.
    Chris Ivory @ Oak.

  39. Eli has been pitiful lately, but I have a feeling he’ll come around when Coughlin is put on notice again after the bye. He would be tough to just drop. Not sure I would trust Palmer ROS. Can u do a 2 for 1 trade with Eli / 49ers with somebody with a extra Tier 2 QB to run with Palmer (Freeman) and use the open spot to claim Benson?

  40. Definitely go with Jamaal Charles. He can get all of that in one carry. Steelers Defense is not the best at stopping shifty RBs.

Just keep in mind that KC is not afraid to go with Peyton Hillis early and often. Then Shaun Draughn when the game is in blowout mode.

Isaac Redman should be the primary RB for Pitt tonight leaving Dwyer extremely risky.

  41. What do you guys think of offering Victor Cruz and Chris Johnson for Arian Foster and Torrey Smith/Steve Smith?

  42. Would you trade for MJD? I was offered MJD, Rashad Jennings, and Welker for Desean and McGahee? my rbs are trent richardson and lynch

  43. Wess, go with Chandler. He’s involved and has a good qb. The others only offer one of those two things.

  44. Now i got him at matt ryan( i also have brady), dmc, colston, marcel reece for cruz, bradshaw, spiller, gates (ive been weak at TE all year). What do u guys think?

  45. Great suggestion..I have tried to grab Freeman from his owner, he has Matty Ice and is just sitting on Freeman. I am gonna scout out he league rosters again. Thanks for the idea

  46. I think i would still roll with willis, reece gets a good matchup but willis could always break out of it. There has been alot of td’s taken out of mcgahees hands so he should be better than his stats say

  47. Amendola especially in ppr format, torrey is beast or bust and danny is the ONLY solid option for Bradford. Hes gonna get his every game

  48. Yo, cool it with the slurs, but here you go…

I think your receivers are your keys, but they can be hard to trade. I would look to trade Leshoure and Fitz or Steve Smith for a McGahee or Alfred Morris (DMC?) type back. Probably start with Smith, and take a Fitz counter, because you don’t want them asking for Marshall. If that doesn’t work, try to get a lower level back (Bush, Spiller, Charles etc.) for just the WR.

Then I would look to trade Romo for Eli straight up… if no dice, then look to package with one of your other WRs.

If any of these work out, use your waiver spots to grab higher upside guys (cause your WR depth is good) for playoffs, Jennings, Benson, Beanie, etc.

All this assumes standard (non-ppr) and a QB, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, W/R/T, K, DEF setup

  49. Freeman is a legit starting fantasy QB at this point. If you have a greater need at another position (or two) , trading Rodgers isn’t crazy. What is crazy, is trading him just for Williams. You need to get WAY more in return. Way more. Rodgers is a top 5 player in any format, and you need to get that kind of value back. Williams is a small part of a package you would need to make that trade worthwhile.

  50. I’m 8-2, so comfortable… I just proposed a trade with a guy who will be one game behind the last playoff spot after this week, so he needs to win next week while I can take on his bye players. Here’s the trade…

My Andrew Luck, Lance Moore and Quizz
    His Eli and Chris Johnson

    My team looks like this
    QB – Luck, Vick
WR – Megatron, Wayne, Maclin, Moore, G Jennings
RB – Peterson, Rice, Quizz, Dwyer
    TE – Gonzalez
    K – Tynes
Def – Miami (WW each week)

I really want that solid Flex I’m missing which CJ would fill and I would set up the QB/K strategy, plus I like Eli ROS I think… I’ve just REALLY started to like Luck and his ROS is a breeze. Should I cancel or hope he takes it?

  51. Oh, and thanks Munt and the nation… Other than being burned by Benson, this site has been gold for me. Advice on this site has directly or indirectly got me Benson, Rice, Luck, Gonzalez, Chris Johnson and perhaps Eli and Chris Johnson again…

Final ?, since I’m in the playoffs, should I be stashing Benson? Will he take over and be about as good or worked in slowly?

  52. Oh yeah….I forgot Amendola! :D I should have said that My 3 starting WR’s would be S.Johnson, D.Amendola and T.Young/E.Sanders/D.Avery…..that WR3 is a problem in week 11. What should I do there?

  53. I think you should get another starting RB along with Peterson….try to make a trade to get Spiller by offering J.Jones and Big Ben.

  54. I would go with Starks against the Lions. He should get a lot of touches now that they are ready to get him the ball. Green is out of the picture. If you don’t like Starks then I would go with Ivory. Sproles might come back but that game is going to be ugly fast and Ivory will run wild when starters are out.

  55. Playin Decker and roddy and trying to decide whether to run amendola, shorts or dez as my wr3? Any advice?

  56. However, if u don’t play him again this year, it would be wise to do the deal if his Ws can help ur cause.

  57. I think it is worth going for the trade. Eli will do much better rest of the season because of the system that he plays in. Also, Andrew Luck and Average flex play does not sound as intimidating as Eli Manning at QB and CJ2K at flex.
I have Drew Brees and Luck but weak RB’s. I have been dying to pull a trade.

Go for it. Also, if you can get Denver Broncos Def. Your team could be a serious contender.

  58. Pick three of these four receivers :
Colston, Austin, Torrey Smith, or Andre Roberts. I have Cruz on bye.

  59. In my mind, it is a matter of how risky you want to be, Dez has the capability to be a game changer and Romo has been playing better as of late. Amendola is about as consistent as they come and is even more valuable in a PPR. For a WR3, why not swing for the fences with Dez.

  60. Nation. My team isn’t faring too well. Just lost again this week to go to 4-6. Playoffs are definitely achievable, but I need a turnaround. My WRs and RBs are: Harvin, Dez, Denarius, Broyles and Ray Rice, Mathews, SJax.

Should I try and move some of the players for better talent? Who would target?

  61. Hello Beast Dome Nation.. Need some help.

    My team:
    QBs – Freeman, Newton, Dalton
RBs – McGahee, Forte, A Morris
WRs – Marshall, AJ Green, Julio Jones, B Lloyd, M Williams
    TE- T Gonzalez
    K – Gould, Tucker
    Def- Bears

    Another guy’s team:
    QB- E. Manning
RBs- Lynch, R Bush, D Richardson
    WRs – R White, Megatron, M Floyd, D Bryant, R Cobb
    TE- Rudolph, V Davis
    K- Hartley, Crosby
    Def- 49ers, Giants

With Eli having pretty bad performances, I figure it’d be a good time to present a trade to him and give him a QB. I like my team, but need to solidify the running back position. I want to target Lynch. Any trade ideas?

    Thanks in advance!

  62. Okay before I lay out my roster I want to let you guys know what I am looking to do. First off I play in a 2rb 3wr league. So as of now my tight end is a huge whole and I want to get better at that position or any other position if I can package any players who are on my bench but solid players.
    Here is my roster:
    QBs: Matt Ryan, Jay Cutler
RBs: Doug Martin, Chris Johnson, DeMarco Murray
WRs: A.J. Green, Victor Cruz, Torrey Smith, Danny Amendola, Nate Washington
    TEs: Brandon Pettigrew, Dwayne Allen
    K: Blair Walsh, Janikowski
    DST: Patriots, Chargers

  63. I agree try for Eli. If you can get him i’d also ship freeman or throw him in a package deal and try to upgrade to a more reliable WR3. Make those moves and you will be a force

  64. Freeman is ballin now but when the playoffs come around, having a qb that you know will always give you at least a solid game is crucial. Keep Rodgers and try to trade freeman, since he does have decent value right now. If you’re feeling bold and need a major upgrade at some other spot then trade Rodgers, but I don’t advise it

  65. Hi everyone, I have the opportunity to trade Andrew luck and Stevan Ridley for RG3, what do you all think of this deal? The rest of my team has Richardson and Morris as RB1 and 2 D Thomas and AJ Green as receivers. I feel pretty comfortable with my current lineup will this improve it?

  66. I agree, as you know graham has already cut into colstons value. I would def try what gamebrake suggested, really you’re set besides maybe a slight upgrade at RB2 or WR3. My attitude tho is don’t settle and feel comfortable that your team is unbeatable, that’s when you get beat on a fluke matchup. Go for the jugular and keep improving.

  67. Trading two great talents in bad situations, for two great talents who are in much better scenarios to produce consistently. Great trade.

  68. Should I trade Jamaal and Nelson for Reggie Wayne and Roddy hite? My other starters: Willis McGahee, Shonne Greene, A.J. Green, and Brandon Lloyd.

    Thanks!

  69. Weapons and will rest the arm during the bye. And after tying the rams, the niners will be itching all week to prove they are still nasty, and they’ve got a recently-concussed cutler and a poor o line to wreak havoc on

  70. Check the munt rankings and match ups, but I would def try trading one or two of those guys and upgrade the roster.

  71. Thanks for the suggestion, but I’m trying to target Lynch. Does Dalton and Forte for Lynch sound like a good trade? Between Freeman and Newton, I have my playoff QBs set.

  72. I would not do this deal Sam. Honestly, Luck is equal to, if not greater than, RG3. Plus, you’d be giving away what has become an RB1 in Ridley. Stay put.

  73. Just went to 4-6. Thinking about doing something drastic. Should I trade Ray Rice/Denarius Moore for Spiller/Reggier Wayne? (0.5 ppr)

  74. To much for Shonn Green? Leshoure+Mike Williams = Shonn Green. Need a end of season RB. Other WR are Colsten, Julio and Roddy can afford to give up Willams. Other RB’s are MaGahee and one foot Murray .

  75. All right… I think your backs are pretty solid (though lacking depth), but if you feel you need one, you could try this. Their backs are far worse so you’ll need to offer a lot, though I’m guessing their record is bad with Eli’s struggles and bye next week so they may be desperate.

Newton and one of your big 3 receivers for Eli and Lynch.

If that doesn’t work, then maybe something like…

Newton, Forte, and Bears D for Eli, Lynch, and 49ers

I think you can do a deal, but it will take some creativity. Try to get Eli back. Regardless, drop Dalton and a kicker and grab some RBs (Beanie, Benson, Starks, Quizz, etc.). Good luck

  76. Can’t imagine any one would take either one, but yes, if you can. With the first, make sure you have another QB or can grab Palmer or Foles or someone to replace Dalton

  77. Just hanging on at 4th place in my 10 man league. considering what to do to get that extra push into the safe zone for the playoffs. My lineup is:

    QB: Ryan, Romo
    RB: M Turner, F Jones, D Murray, D Sproles, I Redman
WR: R White, R Cobb, James Jones,
    TE: Graham, Daniels
    K: Tynes
    Def: Pats

    suggestions?

  78. Seems REAL risky, but I actually like it. Wayne ROS should continue killing it if not be even better (if he starts grabbing more TDs). Spiller’s schedule is tough-ish but he’s electric. Rice should be fine, maybe even tremendous, though

Warning: if F-Jax is healthy at all this season, you KNOW he’s stealing carries from Spiller.

This is tough, I really don’t know, but if you need to shake things up, it’s worth the hail mary

  79. Agree with Zapman. Not a lot of upside here. For Luck and Ridley, you need Brees, Brady, Rogers types and doubt you’ll get them.

  80. Not a lot to do here, that I can think of, but something to try…

If you can survive throwing this game (CJ?K bye) due to byes and be good for playoffs

Find a top 5 TE (no one else is worth it), Gronk, Hernandez (still pushing it), Graham, Gonzalez or Witten (pushing it).

Offer Martin and Pettigrew for their TE and best back (or a top 10). Ideally, you’ll find Lynch or Peterson (Wk 11 byes) on a desperate team (not real likely) who needs the points NOW.

Sorry, lot of ifs, but don’t really know what else to do. With 3 WR, you need the ones you got for matchups, plus Cruz is a buy low right now

  81. Personally, I don’t like it. I hate Shonn Green. I would keep Williams and give up one of the Falcons and Leshoure for a top-flight RB (Lynch, Shady) if possible. Perhaps you could try Leshoure and Williams for RunDMC? Risky, but could pay off.

I don’t really like Leshoure, either. Traded him after his first explosion for Benson. Good move at the time. So it goes

  82. Dont quit on Eli just yet. He has a good playoff schedule. Eli is on a bye. If you can manage picking QBs off the wire and playing their matchups, then I’d just ride it out.

  83. My RBs are Trent, Lynch, Reece, and McGahee. WRs are Julio Jones, Wayne, and DeSean Jackson.

I was thinking to trade mcgahee for welker. straight up.

A little worried about foles throwing the desean.

  84. PPR – Trying to lock up my team for ROS – i have lost the last 2 and I’m currently in 5th @ 6-4 the 6,7,8 are all at 5-5 only the top 6 teams go to playoffs starting Wk 14

    Starting Lineup is 1 qb, 2wr, 2 rb, 1 te, 1 Flex w/r/t, 1 k, 1def

    QB – Freeman
    WR – C Johnson, V Cruz, P Harvin, D Amendola
    RB – Lynch, McGahee, Matthews
    TE – Hernandez, Keller
    K – Prater
    Def – PITTS (changes Weekly)

Lynch is the only remaining person who I drafted, the rest of the lineup was through WW and trades. Is this a team that is ready to roll for ROS or should I be looking to make more improvements QB/TE/RB???

  85. I wouldn’t…McGahee / Denver has favorable RB matchups ROS. Maclin was pretty banged, per Reids press conference monday which might lead for more targets for DeSean. Philly will have some favorable matchups ROS.

  86. Just got offered Brady, leshoure, dez Bryant, amendola, and green Ellis for megatron, Murray, and Ridley. Wanted to ask the nation what you thought. Need QB help, Eli has been killing me, but am I giving too much

  87. RB situation I have R bush, R Jennings, and J Stewart

Available RB Felix jones, C Ivory, J Starks

I need to win my next 3 games so I need somebody to get me though the playoffs

    WR situation

    B Lloyd, Cobb, B Hartline

    Available WR

Dea Bryant, D amendola, d Alexander

I was thinking Felix for Jennings and Lloyd for amendola…

Any input would be great thanx

  88. The trade seems good to me. Brady has been good to me all season. Leshoureshould be having some good games coming up. And amendola is suppose to be getting back in gear

It’s a tuff call cause ridley is always good for good points.

And green Ellis doesn’t look to hot with some future match ups just a couple where he could have potential

  89. Oh and to add on Dez Bryant has good match ups coming up. Cowboys have a good rest of the season if they hold things together

  90. Trying to improve my WR situation, I’m guaranteed top seed for playoffs, so no worries about the next two or three matchups.

Current WRs: Roddy White, Stevie Johnson, and Brandon Lloyd

Available WRs: Mike Williams, Darrius Heyward-Bey, Malcolm Floyd, Denario Alexander

Trying to improve on Stevie Johnson or Brandon Lloyd… although I might do better just trading them with a good RB for a star WR

  91. You sure would be awesome WR wise, but your backs would be lacking. But I would take that trade, and try and trade Lloyd for a decent back. Does the player with Morris need a receiver?

  92. 12 Team PPR League:

Locked up a playoff spot already and looking towards the playoffs. NE has some tough matchups coming up in NYJ, MIA, HOU, SF. With that in mind I did the following trade today and wanted thoughts:

    I sent Welker and RIdley
Received Julio Jones and Demarco Murray

My lineup for the playoffs will be

    Romo
    AP
    Murray
    Cruz
    Julio
    Harvin
    Amendola
    Jimmy Graham
    Seabass
    49ers DST

    Thoughts much appreciated.

  93. Considering how tight ends are this year, you could package OD with Cobb and try to get a upgrade at wide receiver

  94. Nah wouldn’t do that, would keep McGahee, try Trent straight up. Lynch is solid every week, Reece will get the majority of the touches in Oakland, but I don’t see him finishing the season strong. So his value is limited. As for DeSean going off, I doubt it very much. Doesn’t matter who’s throwing the ball, Jackson is a iffy player, IMO. If he can get long, if he can get open, if Foles can get him the ball, if he will go across the middle and not get his head knocked off (he talked a lot of smack, some players didn’t forget it) So, don’t worry about him. And Philly still has holes in their line, a lot of them. They may have blocked a little better for Foles, but once the adrenaline wore off, Dallas was in his grill. As for Welker, he has a lot of competition for the ball in NE. Woodhead is creeping in on the touches, LLoyld is a threat and Hernandes is gonna come back sooner of later, lessing his catches even more. I would be cautious and looking for a different player.

  95. Wait are this players available? WHAT league r u in? Are you trading or is this waiver wire? I would pick up Dez, Amendola and Alexander, in that order, dez and Amendola first. Then at back I would grab Felix, been okay lately, Ivory is in a RBBC with Pierre Thomas and Ingram, and when Spoles comes back he’ll lose value and touches, Starks would be better as he only worried about Alex Green who hasn’t proved himself. Felix and Starks should be great this week. But long term, Starks and Ivory

  96. Custom league. Off the wire

I have Cobb, b llyod , and hartline

    Was thinking off dropping llyod

  97. Whats the question here exactly? If its pickup one of those available WR on the wire over the ones on ur current roster I would stand pat or make a trade like you said.

  98. Please help! Got 2 trade offers:

    McFadden for Sproles
    McGahee for Chris Johnson

What do you all think? Thanks and best of luck R.O.S.!

  99. Qbs: Eli, Freeman, RBs: Murray, Morris, reggie bush, Ridley, and Mendenhall. WRs: megatron, Wayne, Andre Johnson, and Mike Wallace. TE: heath Miller. 1Qb/2rb/2wr/1flex(wr/rb). PPR. He has Vincent Jackson though should I go after him instead of the 2 wr’s?

  100. Stand pat. Your RBs and WRs are solid. I think Foles might surprise many. See if you can pick up Alexander or another high upside WR off the waiver wire.

  101. …cant decide..Who to start RB WR Flex for QB im going with Dalton… this the best place to go?
    QB-Dalton, Cam
    RB-McCoy,Ridley,McGahee,Bush,Leshoure, D.Richardson
    WR-Marshall,Colston,Maclin,Hartline
    Te-D Allen
    K-Gostkowski
    DST-Bengals,Colts
    7-3 Standard Scoring CBS

  102. gonna pick up Beanie Wells, but wondering who i should drop for him:

    – Rashad Jennings
    – Ben Tate
    – Larod Stephens-Howling

i need to keep at least 1 of those RB’s for Week 11.

  103. Hey guys my buddy wants me to trade him Cobb or Jones from the packers. He doesn’t care which one he gets, which is the better one for me to keep? I am personally leaning toward cobb. I also want to get rid of one of the because I hate having to choose which one to start…..Thanks guys

  104. Keep Cobb. When he’s playing special teams, he’s always a threat to return one back for a TD. Percy Harvin, Jr.

  105. I would keep Cobb..Jennings will be back, but Cobb will probably play more snaps than Jones when Jennings returns. I would rather go into the playoffs with Cobb…what r you getting in return?

  106. Thinking about starting Felix Jones over Ryan Mathews. What do you guys think? I don’t want to trade Mathews yet but I’m getting impatient. I’m shallow at RB, my only other back is Doug Martin

  107. Hi all, sitting at 4-6 after four straight loses. Basically I have to win out to make the playoffs. Last week I traded DMC and Jordy Nelson for Ryan Matthews and Desean Jackson. Now I just traded RG3 and Wayne for Harvin and Stafford. Heres my team, any thoughts are appreciated. Standard league, start only 2 RBs
    Stafford
    Matthews, R. Bush, A. Green
Harvin, Nicks, Julio Jones, Desean J.,
    G. Olsen, M. Bennett

  108. Thats an interesting call, i would stick with Mathews though. Jones hasn’t seen 20 touches in a while and Mathews has the higher upside.

  109. I would keep Cobb, Jones seems to be getting the looks Jennings usually does and he’ll be back soon enough

  110. I would start McCoy and Ridley at RB, Marshall and Colston at WR, and then Reggie Bush at flex, unless you mean michael bush then i would go McGahee at flex.

  111. I would take the Chiefs long-snapper for DMC at this point. And I like CJ over McGahee, but thats close

  112. I don’t know how much more i trust murray than Ridley, but the trade was pretty even I guess. Team looks solid

  113. Depends on who else you have at RB and if they’re past their byes. It would be an overpay if this was week 6, but its getting pretty late in the season to be letting talent sit on the bench.

  114. I would not want to be in the position of starting Titus Young. Antonio Brown should be back this week or next, go with him.

  115. Browns 23rd ranked run-D makes Jones a better start, Mathews going against Broncos 13th ranked run-D.Neither one has yet reached 100 rushing yds this season (Matthews 95 vs Browns, Jones 92 vs Ravens)Chargers are playing P Manning anyway Thats why I’m going with Jones

  116. With Big Ben hurt, my backup is Philip Rivers. Should I start him (vs.DEN) or pick up either Dalton(vs.KC) or Fitzpatrick(vs.MIA). Who would you guys roll with?

  117. Yeah I would keep Cobb too. Rodgers really likes him. Plus he’s also the packers kick and punt returner so there’s always the potential of him returning one for a touchdown which should help.

  118. With McGahee fumbling lately and with the ez schedule the Broncos have, I’m hoping he will get it straight. However, CJ has been playing up to his 1st round status these past few weeks and seems to be in his groove. Doesnt help with DMC and Sproles maybe coming back this week or next. So unpredictable, especially now with Carson Palmer playing like a top 10 QB and the Saints getting better. Dammit decisions, decisions, decisions.

  119. As much as I love Rivers, something is definitely wrong with his decision making these past 2 seasons. Ugh. The life of a Charger fan. Go with Dalton. KC is just flat out atrocious. AJ Green will be lighting them up.

  120. Hey BeastNation, Need all the help i can get:
    This my team and bench:
    Qb: RIvers/dalton/freeman
    Wr: M. Williams, DHB, Megatron,White
Rb: Spiller, Bush, R. Matthews :(
    Te: Pettigrew
    Defence: Denver/pats
    Idp: Bowman, Barron, Ninkovich

    Bench:Titus young, K. Britt

10 man ppr, How can i improve this sorry team??? 4th place

  121. Ok so I’ve had 2 guys reapond to my question of playing Ryan Mathews or Felix Jones this week. 1 guy said Mathews and 1 said Jones. who want to beak the tie?

  122. Brad, I prefer to go with Jones, he’s been good the past couple of weeks and the match up with Cleveland looks good, although Cleveland can throw up some good games. As for Mathews, I have him too and he’s been so-so, and like you I’m waiting for a breakout game from him but not this week. He’s facing Denver who’s defense has been good lately. And I got a feeling SD will be playing catch up leading to more of a passing game. And then his touches get vultured by Jackie Battle or Ronnie Brown at the goal line. When was the last time he scored a td? At least with Jones, you know he will get a crack at getting a td. I would go with Jones, IMO, he’s the more solid choice.

  123. I would seriously consider it for a minute,………SD’s DEF is pretty rugged giving up only 82 rushing yds/game & Manning isn’t looking to check down the ball the his RB’s unless it’s 3rd & 6-7-8. Willis has had 2 straight games with less than 8 fantasy points & has caught a case of the fumbles. The only reason I would not start Reece against the awful NO def is if Run DMC is back in the lineup. If you’re in a PPR league, REECE IS YOUR PLAY THIS WEEK……..BUT ONLY THIS WEEK.

  124. DO NOT TRADE V. DAVIS,………..any & all the other TE’s you listed are replacements or back ups to the starting TE on their respective teams. V. Davis is an ELITE TE,………..that doesn’t come around very often. The 49ers have been struggling a bit over the past couple of weeks and have started to lean on their DEF to keep them in it. With Alex Smith taking a concussion shot, V. Davis will have routes created for him with the 49ers running the ball to open up the mid-range passing game for Kaepernick to Davis, who is THE MOST RELIABLE RECEIVER ON THE 49ers. AGAIN,…….DON’T TRADE VERNON DAVIS. He will be game planned into the game starting this week.

  125. If you’re in the playoff hunt, you don’t need 2 DEF. The 49ers are a stud defense and you may be able to pick up a viable flex option if you open the roster spot the BAL defense is taking up on your bench now.

  126. Mathews, I know he’s had to trust but the talent is there, do you really want him on your bench when he has his breakout game?

  127. I picked up Alexander off the waiver wire. Trade deadline is approaching and wanted to shop the least consistent of my RBs. I was also offered a semi package deal essentially Denarius Moore for McGahee. Thoughts?

  128. Watch the injury report, if Murray is out, then go with Jones as he should be the featured back against the Browns DEF. if Murray is playing then take Mathews for sure.

  129. Thanks Slim that’s the way I’m leaning, but still hoping Mathews starts playing up to his potential.

  130. Watch the injury report, if Murray is out, then go with Jones as he should be the featured back against the Browns DEF. if Murray is playing then take Mathews for sure.

  131. I agree, Dalton all the way. Very few teams can shutdown AJ and KC is definitely not one of them.

  132. Big probs with bye week RB. I have AP on bye and need a replacement .
I have tried to do trades but nobody will reply so my choices are
    LHS @Atlanta
    C. Ivory @ oak
    P. Hillis @Cin
    J.Battle @ Den
Not much to choose from but i need 1, This is a 12 man ppr league I really need your help Thank you

  133. I’d vote Felix Jones. He seems to be getting better…from 2.8 ypc up to 4.4 now. Broncos have only 1 rush TD against them in 4 games. Browns giving up over 122 yds rushing, 48 yards passing and 18 f points to RB’s … i feel Felix has better chance at a td..hope that helps

  134. Would you trade R.Rice+T.Young for D.Martin+E.Decker?

    My other RBs: W.McGahee, J.Dwyer, J.Rodgers
    My other WRs: V.Cruz, S.Johnson, D.Amendola, D.Avery, D.Jones

  135. Big matchup this week for me. If I win I’m in the playoffs. If I lose it will be harder.

    2QB IDP league
    My Team:
    QB1: Luck
    QB2: Freeman
    RB1: McGahee
    RB2: Reece
    WR1: Colston
    WR2: Andre Johnson
    TE: Vernon Davis
    FLEX: Danny Amendola
    K: Janikowski
    DEF: Rams
    DL: MIchael Johnson
    DL: Cameron Wake
    LB: Navarro Bowman
    LB: Lavonte David
    DB: Cortland Finnegan
    DB: Malcolm Jenkins
    DP: Wesley Woodyard

    His team:
    QB1: Matt Ryan
    QB2: Joe Flaco
    RB1: Ray Rice
    RB2: Stevan Ridley
    WR1: D. Thomas
WR2: Empty (will probably be Donnie Avery)
    TE: Gronk
    FLEX: Demarco Murray
    K: Matt Bryant
    DEF: Patriots
    DL: Randy Starks
    DL: Justin Smith
    LB: Brandon Spikes
    LB: David Haris
    DB: Morgan Burnett
    DB: Mark Barron
    DP: Karlos Dansby

It’s going to be tough I can’t use any of the strategies Munt posted about kickers. Any suggestions to help me win this matchup? Thanks a million I know it’s a big question.

  136. Week 11, PPR:

Who should I start at Flex:
    Marcel Reese vs NO
    Forte vs 9ers
    Reggie Bush vs Buffalo

And: Matt Ryan vs Arizona or Palmer vs NO.

  137. Try to pick up Reece or Ivory if on the waiver wire. Reece should be nice for PPR leagues. I play in an IDP league too how many defensive players do you play? How many WR RB and Flex players do you have to start?

  138. I’d make that trade. Martin and Decker have decent schedules. T. Young is really hard to start.

  139. You know what youre gonna get with D.Martin+Decker. T.Young brings potential. I think its pretty even, but its hard to pass up Ray Rice’s consistency.

  140. What cha think.
    M.Lynch+D.Keller for R.Matthews+Gates
I already own Foster,Ridley but my TE are Keller and Gresham. We start 2RB’s, 1 TE, PPR.

  141. If it was me, I’d drop Rivers (no need for 3 qbs imo), pick up the best RB option on the waiver wire. (Reese, Starks, etc)

I’d package a trade for a RB and TE. I’d package Ryan Matthews, DHB, and Pettigrew else for a more consistent RB/TE. I’d pay even more for an elite RB or TE.

    Keep Spiller!

See if Alexander is on the waivers and drop Britt for him. I had Britt all year and last weeks no-show was my last straw for him.

  142. I would do Ridley + Keller for R. Matthews + Gates if you can. I like Lynch better than Ridley with how the Pats change rushers so much. If not it’s still a trade I’d do.

  143. Yeah your WRs are bit weak….I would try to move Colston for a more reliable receiver, especially since you already have Graham as your #1 saints receiver on your squad.

  144. You also need to consider Wallaces production for this coming week with Leftwick throwing…he had Wallace wide open a few times Monday night and threw crappy 3 yard slants instead. I have Wallace too and im concered he won’t put up good numbers because Leftwick is garbage

  145. Your WR are solid. Your RB situation is pretty bad so I would suggest you focus on acquiring one through a trade. If Beanie is on your waiver, pick him up immediately for Jennings, cuz Jennings has almost no value left after this week.

  146. I’m in 5th place with a tough schedule ahead. Playoff hopes aren’t looking great. Where should I improve? My league is fairly stingy with trades, so I’d have to give up more than I should for a big name. Is Beanie worth holding or try to add him to a package deal?

    QB
    Cam Newton
    Carson Palmer

    RB
    LeSean McCoy
    CJ Spiller
    Daniel Thomas
    Ronnie Hillman
    Kendall Hunter
    Beanie Wells

    WR
    Jordy Nelson
    Victor Cruz
Malcom Floyd (pending trade for Witten)
    Danny Amendola
    Emmanuel Sanders

    TE
    Vernon Davis

    K
    Shaun Suisham

    D/ST
    Falcons

  147. Need some help nation.

Marques Colston + Lance Moore for Dez Bryant + Eric Decker.

    Who wins?

  148. I agree with Finn. I especially like Ivory as he has a good matchup and I expect him to get plenty of carries once they pile on a sizeable lead against the raiders, especially since he’s been on a streak. And considering what FLACCO did to the raiders last weekend, I expect Brees to put in serious work.

  149. Yeah, definitely Amendola. I had Torrey in my lineup and was shtting bricks until he had his 2 TDs out of nowhere this weekend. Amendola will always be targetted heavily.

  150. Definitely Chandler he has a great matchup. Pitta was a fluke performance in the raiders blowout, I do not see it repeating.

  151. Jimmy Graham being healthy hurts every receiver in NO. I wouldn’t want both Moore and Colston.

  152. Am I the only one seeing a very bad game for Rashad “I do nothing” Jennings against a Texans def that held Matt Forte to 36 total yards? Jennings couldn’t do anything against a colts def. He won’t do anything against Houston. At least the other RBs have some value for week 11. Jennings will be worthless once MJD is healthy which will be sooner rather than later.

  153. I would take this trade. Eli has to turn around as he usually does. And even so, having CJ2K Rice and AP starting every week with Megatron Reggie and Gonzalez by their side is straight BEAST. All top ten players. Meanwhile Luck and Eli i expect to put up very similar fantasy scores in the coming weeks. (Even though Eli has a really tough schedule.)

  154. DMC > Sproles
Chris Johnson about = to McGahee go with your gut on that trade.
I know it sucks having DMC down I have him in 2 leagues but sproles is down too and when both are healthy DMC is better by a long shot. He’s talked with the coaches about the zone blocking and I feel he’ll be better ROS once the blocking is fixed and his ankle is right.

  155. Tough call. for ppr you have to start Danny. Otherwise its a crap shoot. Decker is always in line for a monster game but is sometimes forgotten. Same with Dez. I would go with one of those two if youre in a standard league.

  156. Ivory is going against the softer run DE but I wouldn’t be too quick to pull Dez…Hayden might not be on him all the time as Romo has a few weapons to throw to and Hayden might be pulled elsewhere.

  157. My bad i read that wrong. I would go with Dez on this one. In line with what Joe said below, I’m not sure they would put Hayden on Dez over Austin.

  158. Yeah definitely grab Beanie. Everyone should be grabbing him off the waiver in the next week. I personally don’t like Forte with the matchups he has and I don’t like him in general this year (also I never like having a stud WR AND RB from the same team on my squad), so I would absolutely try to move him for Lynch who is an absolute beast. He’s won alot of matchups for me this year. Try and package Forte and one of your QBs for Lynch and Eli. If he doesn’t try to mix and match, ask him which QB he wants.

  159. Reece isnt on waiver Ivory is
    I play 3 defensive players
I have to start 3 wr 2 rb 1 te,
    2 flex (w/t) and (w/r)

  160. Should I roll with Tampa or St. Louis for my d this week? I know newton is turnover prone and Tampa is a relatively high scoring defense but the jets flat out suck on O. Any thoughts?

  161. I would say pettigrew. You know GB is gonna put up points and the lions are gonna throw. Seein what CJ2k did to Miami on the ground last week I would be surprised if buffalo didn’t try and pound the ball

  162. Hold onto Beanie. Muntradamus has been telling us for weeks that he’s going to be the full-time RB when he returns. Only 1 week away.

This team is good I would not panic

  163. That my friend is a real toss up.

I’m playing Chandler just so I can watch him on TV. But then again it is also over Finley.

Let’s root for Chandler together on Thursday Night!!

  164. Your team is good. Injury to Nelson is prob killing you though. I would try to move Palmer to the Big Ben owner for WR2 help. Keep Amendola he is good. Other than that there is not much that can be done I would say. Perhaps even consider moving Cam Newton for a bigger name WR/RB and rolling with Palmer who has been throwing a TON. Kinda a crazy move but at this point in the season you need to do those things.

  165. Your team stands a chance if Marcel Reece is the starter and DMC does not play.

Besides that..just hope Joe Flacco is terrible on Sunday Night.

  166. I have Cam Newton and Josh Freeman. I’m thinking of trading Freeman for RB/WR. The only teams I see who could use him have Daniel Thomas, Steve Johnson, Vick Ballard, Andre Roberts.

Who do you like out of those guys for Freeman? I was thinking of Thomas or Stevie.

  167. Beast Dome nation i need you’re help! I’m pretty sure I’m a shoe in for playoffs, but i just got offered a very intriguing trade and not sure if i should accept.

I would receive Matt Forte and DeSean Jackson

    FOR

    Marques Colston and Steven Jackson

    My team is as follows

    QB-Tom Brady/ Josh Freeman
RB frank gore, Steven Jackson, JaQuizz rodgers, James Starks
WR- Brandon Marshall, Marques Colston, Eric Decker, Sidney Rice

Would this Trade be a positive or a negative for me??

  168. I have Romo and Palmer and I just got offered Andy Red for James Jones(I have great WR Depth).

Would it be worth it to accept this trade and then try to flip one of these QBs?

Also, right now I have Ray Rice, Leshoure, Donald Brown, and Rashad.

Would it be a better idea to counteroffer James Jones and Rashad for Darren Sproles?

Please give me your insight of what the short term and long term implications could be of either of these deals!

    Thank you!

  169. Beast nation,

Been proposed a trade: Nelson for Andre Johnson.

    QB: Peyton
    RB: McCoy, Lynch, Ridley, Murray
WR: Wallace, Thomas, Nelson, Steve Smith

I originally proposed the trade with defenses, but had it kicked back to just trade the receivers. I love Andre’s cakewalk of a schedule but am concerned with him getting benched for rest during playoff weeks. Also, latest news seems to point to Jordy being 100% and ready to do work. Having second thoughts know. Thoughts?

  170. I’m also concerned about Wallace’s value with Ben out for god knows how long. Should I counter Wallace for Andre instead. Also I have Nicks forgot to list him.

  171. Do the trade IMO Andre is the best receiver on that team with Owen Daniels a close #2 option. Redzone wise Owen Daniels is the #1 target but after that its Andre. Nelson is part of a great receiving core on the packers and its up and down whether or not hes going to have a great game with all the talent the packers have at
    WR.

  172. I always vouch for Lynch. I have McCoy and Lynch and I would part with McCoy before I’d give up Lynch. He’s been an absolute beast this year. I would try and sell high on Ridley instead – its what I am doing myself right now.

  173. Hard not to start Ryan everyweek, but I really like the prospect of Palmer this week. Brees should destrory the Raiders secondary which will give Palmer no choice but to keep throwing the ball against the terrible saints secondary. Also, the raiders have no running game going right now, and Reece receives the ball more as much as he runs it, which again, adds to Palmers value.

  174. I would go with Ivory here. Saints should rack up a huge lead and are likely to run the ball alot near the end. He’s been on fire this month too.

  175. Yeah as everyone else has suggested, Dalton is a no brainer here. I expect at least 2TDs from him. Can’t trust Rivers against Denver defense.

  176. Man you really got robbed on your trades. You gotta hope that Matthews breaks out soon, because he’s been quite the underperformer. Nelson is also inconsistent, but Jackson is ten times worse. You need more depth at RB: do you have any on the waiver? Beanie would be an ideal pickup.

  177. Hey Beasts…..
waivering on my waiver wire pick ups, I cant decide who to start for RB2….Daniel Thomas or Reece
not sure I am buying Bush Bench hype.

    and DST:

    49ers or broncos?
broncos have momentum and are making big plays, niners facing back up QB and keep points low (usually)

  178. I would start Reece, especially in PPR, and you can’t bench the 49ers defense, especially after the many turnovers they created lasti week, although in rainy conditions.

For everyone: Michael Turner or Felix Jones in PPR ?

  179. I’m looking to deal Ridley, and I need WR help. What should my trade targets be? I’m thinking that the Decker, Andre Johnson, Vincent Jackson, Miles Austin range is reasonable, but should I be aiming higher since Ridley is the #6 RB right now?

Given Ridley’s upcoming schedule, I’m okay with using Martin/Charles as my RBs, Reese as my flex until McFadden comes back (if he comes back). If I deal Ridley, I’ll probably also pick up Goodson to cover my ass.

    Here’s my team:
    QB: Ryan
RB: Ridley, Martin, Charles, McFadden, Reese
WR: Nicks, Maclin, Amendola, Lloyd, T Young
    TE: Daniels, V Davis

    Thanks for the help!

  180. I’d try to trade Wallace for Johnson if you can. I don’t trust the PIT passing game at all right now and although Nelson has to compete for looks, I think GB is going to put up big numbers the rest of the way so he’ll get his.

  181. Zombies I agree with Urlacher. Cant bench niners D. I like Reece for good yardage and hope for TD.

  182. I think you gut is leading you in the right direction, the Jets O do suck and the Rams D will take advantage.

  183. I would definitely take that trade…Forte is a huge upgrade over Jackson. Also your receivers are strong already so Desean wouldn’t hurt you much since Decker is a high end WR2. Also colston will be losing looks to Graham and Jackson has upside since Foles likes to throw deepoften.

  184. Darren Sproles is inconsistent, one of many options in the NO attack, and injured to top it all off, so I dont like that trade. You definitely are weak at RB though, so I would try to target a solid RB, by trading one of your QBs.

  185. Yes he’s definitely the best receiver without a doubt, but I am still worried about them limiting his use in fantasy playoff weeks if the Texans keep steamrolling all of their opponents. Any thoughts on this?

  186. I would say it depends upon your other WR’s at the moment. Are you playing T. Young weekly or are you hoping he breaks out with consistency so you can insert him in to your lineup? Garcon has a much friendlier schedule to close the season than Young, thus if you want a “stash” I would say grab Garcon. Otherwise, you know what you have in Young.

  187. Hello BeastDome nation…..

    Trade Advice/Thoughts please:

    Current Roster:
    QB: Carson Palmer
RBs: Arian Foster, Jamaal Charles, Darren Sproles, Ben Tate, James Starks
WRs: Reggie Wayne, Marques Colston, Malcolm Floyd, Danario Alexander, Donnie Avery, Pierre Garcon, Golden Tate
    TEs: Aaron Hernandez
K: Blair Walsh, back after his bye
DST: Seattle, back after their bye

    On the table:
    Colston + Charles for V.Cruz + A.Morris?

V.Cruz targets have been down lately as well as his yardage.

Poor management (I stink this year – LOL)
throughout the season has me at 4-6 right now, just outside of the playoffs, but still have a shot for them as our playoffs start week 14.

Good deal? Bad deal? Even deal?

  188. I had a trade offer, Broncos D for J.Stewart ,accepted. The guy is at last place, hurting at RB and has Broncos and 49ers D.
But now the commissioner says he might reject the trade, that I give up to little and that you could get so much more for Broncos.

Should I just accept that or maybe try to package another deal?

    My team:
    Romo
Rice, Martin, Stewart, D.Brown, Mendenhall and Wells
Fitz, Colston, Brown, Lloyd and Young
    Witten
    Gould
    Seahawks

I’m sorry if my bad English offends someone. Thanks!

  189. Just got offered Percy Harvin for demarco murray, my RB are morris, ridley, and R. Bush. My WR are wayne, wallace, and andre. PPR 2rb/2wr/1flex. I’m on the fence and need help

  190. Id do it.. Depending on how long Big Ben is out, you may see a drop in value on Wallace.. Harvin is a stud… youre deep enough at RB with morris and ridley imho.

  191. When healthy, Harvin is a PPR machine. Morris has a good schedule ahead as does Bush. But, who knows how many touches Bush will get as the season comes to a close. Also, who knows when Murray comes back, foot injuries and RBs do not mix well.

  192. I can start 1qb, 2rb,3 wr,2 te,and 2 flex spots.with 1 of flex spots being a qb.I have Palmer and Bradford.mcgahee,d.Martin,m.Reece,and DMC.receivers are dhb,hartline,m.Williams,d.Jones,a.Brown,d.Alexander.my te are Olsen, and l.Kendricks.my kicker is Bryant.I have the Bengals d/st and the falcons d/st.can only start 1of those d/st.this is a MUST win week for me.I’m 4-6 and Will be fighting the next 2 weeks to stay in the playoff hunt for the 4th spot.in a ten team league.any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

  193. I would thank the commissioner lol…why would you want Jonathan Stewart anyway? You already have Rice Martin and Beanie all of which are way better, in addition to your other two lower end backs. Your team is weak at WR so try to trade for a receiver instead. also hang on to Broncos D cuz they are beast and Seattle is on bye this week.

  194. Pretty even trade. I have Ridley and Murray myself. I would see if he will take Ridley or Bush instead.

  195. …I have Vick and Flacco. Want to upgrade at QB. I have DeMarco Murray as a keeper in the 3rd round next year. Should I trade him for Stafford? My other RBs are Rice, Martin, Brown and Rodgers.

  196. My team:
    QB Romo/Eli Manning
    RB Lynch(bye)/Pierre Thomas/A. Green/J. Starkes/Mojo(out)/Beanie(out)/Daryl Richardson
    WR Mike Wallace/Mike Williams/Brian Hartline/Cecil Shorts

    who do I start?
    1 QB 2 RB 2 WR 1 Flex

so far I have it like:
    Romo
    J Starkes
    D Richardson
    Mike Wallace
    Mike Williams
    Brian Hartline

  197. Hi guys, have a couple of questions about my RB/WR sitch (standard league) — one of which needs to be answered beforeTONIGHT’S GAME — all help appreciated. I’ve got Lynch and Cruz on their byes, F. Jackson and Beanie are out this week, and would love your advice! Thanks in advance!!!

RBs: McCoy, Ballard, Starks, D. Richardson, (Ivory is on waivers)
    WRs : Colston, Hartline, Bryant

    I’m thinking the following:
    RB1 McCoy
    RB2 Starks
    WR1 Colston
    WR2 Hartline
    FLEX: Bryant

    MY QUESTIONS:

—-WR2/RB2FLEX — PICK 3 (and in what order)—
    Hartline
    Bryant
    Starks
    Ballard

—–Do I pick up and start Ivory? If so, who do I drop?

  198. I like Murray a little more than Harvin but wallaces production is going to drop. I think your team is strong where it is at and you are not upgrading your team by making the trade.

  199. Trying to upgrade at RB as Murray and MJD are both hurt. My other two starters are R.Bush and D.Martin. With that in mind should I trade Freeman for Morris and Locker. My other QBs are Stafford and Luck. The one caveat is the league starts three QBs. Thanks for the help.

  200. Yes but only if your point system does not favor QB’s. If it does you might want to stick with Freeman.

  201. A possible trade came my way and wanted to get some opinions! My trade deadline is tonight!(.5PPR league)
The offer was for me to give Nicks, DMC and M Reece for McCoy and Fleener.
    My Roster:
WR: AJ Green, Amendola, D Moore, Nicks
RB: AP, DMC, Reece, D Thomas, J Starks, S Greene
    TE: Myers, Keller

I’m holding onto the last playoff spot and need some wins! If the trade goes through I’d probably grab Danario Alexander or Garcon.

  202. Ivory is definitely more valuable right now than ballard. Ballards role has been declining so I would grab ivory.

Hartline should be your WR2 and either ivory or Bryant should be flex. Both have excellent matchups so it’s really a coinflip

  203. Lynch is clearly a must start but he has a rough schedule coming up and while McGahee has had his problems his he has one of the best remaining schedules, So for that reason I wouldn’t have done it.

  204. D. Murray “should” be back in time for the playoffs when you need him the most, plus you’re going to need Murray when the playoff comes around because Ridley has some brutal playoff games (I know i just traded him) plus Bolden will most likely be back come that time. As for Harvin he might have to less favorable games coming up for any wr. So I would say no dice, Think big picture…. Playoff time.

  205. Thanks Hc2000
    I have Green/Cruz/ S.Smith/ Moore/ Maclin.
I would say I’m good at wr. So I am going to “stash” him in hopes he comes around in at playoff time.

  206. I would get that trade done in a heartbeat. Cruz and Morris and going to bounce back and when they do you want them on your team.

  207. Should I trade Forte for j. Nelson? My other RB’s are D.
Murray, m. Reece, Stephens howling and R. Brown. My strongest WR is S.johnson.

  208. Thanks guys. I stepped back and looked at it and came to the same conclusion. Already rejected.

  209. II dont think I would make that t rade.
Your RB depth would be hurting.
As it is Murray isnt back yet and Reece and LSH time may be coming to an end so you wouldnt really be left with any RB’s if that happens.

  210. It depends on how deep your league is and how many WR you can start. I would try to go after Wayne, Nicks, or D.Thomas. But all this is dependent on your league settings.

  211. Trade just offered to me:

Give: Drew Brees and JacQuizz Rodgers
Get: Cam Newton and Alfred Morris

Seems like this boosts things overall for me, including maybe setting up a trade to boost WR depth. Is-a-good? Am I blind?

    Roster (Bench):
    QB – Brees (R. Wilson)
    RB1/2 – M. Lynch, T. Richardson, (J. Rodgers, C. Ivory, B. Wells)
    WR1/2 – V. Jackson, M. Floyd (SD), (G. Jennings, K. Wright)
    TE – D. Allen, B. Celek

    K – Hartley (NO)
DST – NYG (Gotta pick one up yet this week)

  212. I think you might be able to get a better WR in return for Forte, even so far as getting Cobb or Jackson.

I wouldn’t do that trade as it is.

  213. Thanks! Hartline crushed me tonight. 0 points in my system…. will need to look for a wr trade soon.

  214. at first i thought hell no. but that lynch/richardson/morris combo is pretty epic. but it’s hard to give up brees. you’re definitely really thin at wr. i’d focus on trading for one of them instead of an rb. still a no imho

  215. not a bad “stash” at all the for Garconn to potentially be a Flex for you since you have Green and Cruz as strong starting WRs – Good luck!

  216. Sit Start Dillema.

    Pick 1 player:

    Marcel Reece
    Danny Amendola
    Heyward-Bay (Presuming he is active)

    Thoughts are much appreciated!

  217. My team:
RBs: Forte, Mccoy, Mathews, Starks, Reece, Woodhead
    WRs: Colston, Nelson, Amendola, Bryant

    Other team:
    RBs: Foster, P. Thomas, Greene
WRs: Harvin, S. Smith, Djax, Boldin, Hawkins

I’m trying to bundle Forte and another WR for Foster. He’s not biting right now on Bryant+Forte+Woodhead, so how should I sweeten the deal to get this trade through? I’m in 2nd he’s in 4th in a 12 team PPR league where the top 4 make the playoffs.

  218. I think going for Nelson and trading Forte are both good ideas since I don’t like Forte’s schedule, but I don’t think you have the RB depth to make this move.

  219. 1 PPR [WDIS] Myers vs NO, Titus Young vs GB, or JStew vs TB? I’m leaning towards Titus Young but Myers matchup vs. NO is really tempting.

  220. Alright nation, Let me know what you think.
Aiming for S. Greene like the master told me so…

    Maclin + J.Stew for Greene + T. Young?

I don’t wanna give up maclin but I have A.J green, Cruz, Moore, S.Smith…

  221. Agreed, that your RB depth would be severely diminished + if you want to trade Forte, you should be able to go after a more proven WR commodity. Nelson has not shown us much this year with injuries plagueing him.

  222. The ddolphins killed everyones team tonight, unless you started Bess. That team is def. regressing. The coach is losing the team.

  223. I am going JStew. I know he has not been a top back this year but he always produces 6-10 points. The other two are hit and miss. I like sure points over upside, but if you need a win go with young he can explode or implode there is really no in between.

  224. Big Ben (as you know), got injured and I need a replacement QB; only QBs left on WW are Wilson, Ponder, Gabbert, Locker, Ponder.

    My Roster (2QB, STANDARD)

QB: Big Ben, Luck, Foles (took him cuz I needed a QB)

    RB: Lynch, Spiller, Reece, Jones

WR: Cruz, Decker, Cobb, Williams, Heyward-Bey, Amendola
    TE: Graham, Miller

I requested Dalton and the guy wants either Cruz/Cobb, so who do I give up (based upon better scheduling)? I think I have enough depth to give up one of them as well.

Also, should I just wait til Big Ben is healed and try to ride with Bradford, Wilson, Ponder, Locker (whom are available) into the playoffs?

  225. Looks like Hernandez is going to be out this week, again. Keller, Celek, and Allen are available for pick up, may need them for “stretch” too since who knows when Hernandez will be back.

Who is the best pick up?

    Thanks ahead of time.

  226. Cruz has better schedule probably, thus I would certainly keep him over Cobb if you want to do the deal, it would not be horrible considering your depth at WR.

If, you want took pluck one off the waiver, I would probably go for Bradford. If Big Ben is out more time than expected Bradford has + matchup for weeks 14-16.

  227. Okay looks like Mr fragile, Ryan Mathews is hurt, and has missed practice almost all week. I can’t take a chance on him, just too risky, Should I pick up Steven Jackson (Oak) and play him?

  228. Well… with Hernandez out, turns out I’ll be starting Myers anyways. Also, I just can’t start JStew. TB run D worries me. I’m gonna hope GB is trying to draw up a defense to shut down Calvin, thus making Titus the goto.

  229. Celek is your guy, I think. Foles showed some pretty good potential in the preseason. The guy can throw, Celek is a big target, and WASH welcomes passing yardage.

  230. Losing Maclin doesn’t hurt you too much because your WRs are awesome. TBH I hate Greene (don’t tell the boss :P) but this trade looks good. Maybe wait till Monday to make sure your target is still healthy also JStew will look tastier when he’s about to play PHI. Good luck!

  231. I love Reece this week but Amendola is just so good. Reece gets handoffs and targets and Amendola gets PR/KR and targets. Theres so many touches to be had for each of them. However, Amendola is definitely Bradford’s boy toy and even against NYJ the guy is gonna get his. I’d start em both if I could but I think Amendola gets the slightest of edges.

  232. Hey Munt! I hope you have tome to look at this.

Should I drop any of my players for J.Bell for ROS?

I’m 5-5 (3rd in standings behind one 5-5 team and one 6-4) in division where only the winner gets into playoffs. I play against other 5-5 team from my division this week. So I live in edge every week. Do or die game again.

    My team:

    Starters this week:

    QB: M.Stafford
    WR1: S.Johnson
    WR2: T.Young
    WR3: D.Amendola
    RB1: R.Rice
    RB2: W.McGahee
    TE: J.Witten
    flex: D.Avery
K: M.Prater (if S.Graham clears waivers then him)
    DST: SF

    Bench:

    J.Dwyer
    J.Rodgers
    V.Cruz
N.Foles (thinking of next week when Stafford plays vs. HOU and foles vs. CAR)
    R.Hillman (hc…in case McGahee won’t stop fumbling)
St.Louis (for week 12 when SF plays vs. NO and St.Louis plays vs. ARI

So..I see J.Bell on waivers (he is free agent tomorrow). I was thinking if he would be better stash than some of my bench players.

When by week are over next week, I probably play Cruz, Amendola and S.Johnson as my three starting WR’s and T.Young in flex. Would J.Bell be better flex option in certain matchups? They play against Houston next week.

I have N.Foles and S.Louis in my roster just for that week because Stafford vs. Houston is not so good matchup and SF vs. NO as DST is not also very good matchup. Foles plays at home against Carolina and Rams are at home against poor Arizona offense. Should I keep them and play matchups over Stafford and SF or should I drop either of them to pick up Bell?

I also have J.Dwyer. I really don’t know what to do with him. He has some good matchups coming and when Ben is out they will lean on their running game more. And no one knows if Mendenhall is ready and healthy. Mendenhall is starting this week.

As for J.Rodgers. He out gained Turner again last week and looked a better running back. Turner in on a injury report this week. And I see some awesome matchups coming. I think he is worth keeping. But I don’t have time to wait and see. I need wins to get into playoffs. What to do with him?

One potential drop is Hilman. I picked him up as a handcuff for McGahee. There were a lot of talk about McGahee’s ball security issues. Should I just drop him and hope that McGahee keeps his job?

Here are the other considered RBs available at the moment:

    D.Woodhead
    M.Ingram
    R.Brown
    B.Pierce

    And some WRs:

    L.Robinson
    K.Wright
    D.Jones
    A.Jeffery
    G.Jennings
    C.Givens

  234. EaglesFinn: If you had to drop someone, Hillman would be the one I’d drop… but for now I’d stay with what you have… but Ray Rice’s ROS schedule is tougher than most but difficult to bench him considering your current stable of RBs.

My question: Would any of you add Mendenhall… not to use right away but to stash?

    My current RBs:
    M. Lynch
    W. McGahee
    R. Mathews
    S. Greene

I’d have to drop one of my defenses to do it… I have Denver, Seattle, St. Louis.

I was thinking St. Louis because I’d roll with Denver D Week 12 (vs KC) instead of St. Louis (vs Ari)

  235. I have R.Rice ranked 2. ROS….so the only player I would bench him for is Foster. I never overlook the schedule. Two games aginst the PIT…..I would say that those games are easier than you think.

And for your question: I would drop St.Louis for Mendenhall.

  236. Desperately need trade advice for Standard Scoring League — here’s what I got:

RBs – McCoy, Lynch, F. Jackson, Beanie (healthy next week), Ballard, D Rich
WR – Cruz, Colston, Bryant, Hartline

    NEEDS
-AN ELITE WR for my playoff run (Cruz and Colston are my main guys but Colston can disappear, and Hartline/Bryant are just not consistent).
-A PLAYOFF D — by far my achilles heel (I hve the bucs now)

    ASSETS:
    -Andy Dalton
-Pretty deep RB roster presuming Jackson and Beanie get better

TRADE TARGET — A team with:
    -Sam Bradford at QB
-Some banged up RBS (including S. Jackson)
-Cards D and the Steelers D.
-PERCY HARVIN HEALING ON THE BENCH. (he’ll be healthy next week I think).

    TRADE IDEA
Give up: ANDY DALTON and D. RICHARDSON
Get: PERCY HARVIN and STEELERS D

The owner might go for it. It will get her a good QB and make sure that her RB slot with Stephen Jackson will be covered in case he gets hurt or demoted with big carries by D. Richardson who’s gaining steam.

SHOULD I PROPOSE IT? Or should I offer someone else?

  237. To clarify: go for Dalton & D. Rich. for Harvin and the Steelers D, or should I offer someone else besides D Rich (or in addition to Dalton and D. Rich)

  238. To be honest….that trade offer is a little bit underestimating your opponent. No way he will accept that trade. You are offering him below average QB and RB in committee who gets no carries. for an elite WR. I would offer him D.Bryant and A.Dalton for Harvin. I would also drop Ballard and pick up some WR with upside. And if you want a playoff D, I’m sure that you can find Broncos/Rams from waivers. Steelers D is not that good.

  239. Who would you start: Matt Forte (49ers, no Cutler) or Felix Jones (Browns, banged up O-line) in PPR ?

  240. Do I offer Andy Dalton for Percy Harvin in a trade?

The other team only has Sam Bradford at QB (I’ve got Brees as my starter). my logic: Harvin will be off IR next week, and if he’s healthy and near 100% I’ll have him, Cruz, and Colston as a pretty sick WR group heading into the playoffs.

For the other team, Harvin may not get healthy, so I’ll be taking risk off his hands and giving him a top 12 QB. (He’s got Bowe, Floyd, Crabtree, Sidney Rice

Any chance he’ll say yes or should I sweeten the pot?

  241. He will say no. That’s a stupid trade offer. Like I said above. Harvin is not in IR. He is on a bye week and resting his anke. I don’t know where you get your information. I would not trade Dalton for any of his WR’s if I was him.

  242. That’s a tough call. I don’t like Forte’s matchup at all, nut Felix is a BAD running back. I have to say I would probably start Forte because he is safer.

  243. I think you should go with Allen. Patriots has all kind of problems in the secondary. I’m a huge Eagles fan and have looked a lot of Foles’s games. He likes to look for a deep ball a lot. He doesn’t check down so much. So Celeks might not be a good option. Go with D.Allen.

  244. No need to pick up replacement QB if you have Foles. If you like…I would add Wilson. He plays against Miami next week. But for this week…Foles is the best option.

  245. If you want Foster, then you would have to give at least McCoy and Amendola for him. Foster is the kind of player that “is not for sale”. You don’t need to trade Foster. I think you are ok with what you got.

  246. Current roster:
    QB: M. Schaub
    WR: R. Wayne, B. Marshall, R. White (M. Floyd)
    RB: W. McGahee, C. Johnson, D. Murray (J Starks)
    TE: O. Daniels (S. Chandler)

Should I trade D. Murray for Eli Manning?

I just don’t really have anything else I think he would accept and we’re talking #19 ROS RB vs #7 QB.

14 Man league with standard scoring. Currently in 11/14 place (I am 4-6; #1 is 6-1-3). Regular season ends with Week 14.

  247. Worry about him saying no before you ponder sweetening the pot. You likely won’t use Dalton much, if at all, so let that offer fly. At least, that’s what I say. Heh

  248. Current roster
    QB-Luck, Freeman
    RB-Lynch, Richardson, Jackson, Bush
WR-Johnson, Jennings, Nicks, Williams, J Jones
    TE-Graham
    D/ST-49ers
    K-Graham

1 point per yard scoring league, any changes need to be made? I’m 6-3 at the moment.

  249. Bawse:

It really depends if your format is allowed to have a flex that can use a RB… if it does, then I wouldn’t offer the trade because you would be pretty short on RBs. If you could only start 2 RBs, then yes go and offer for Eli, he has great weapons and some favorable pass-friendly matchups compared to the Texans who runs all the time.
